I've had the bag over a year, and have let it outside (rain and sun) since then. Initially I actually got a defective bag that had tiny leaks in it, but the aqua bag representatives are very quick to replace or refund with no cost. I say go for it. You see so many professional fighters use it. I just recommend you inspect the bag when you get it, and after you fill it up, you make sure there are no defects. The earlier you can catch any defects or damage and report it to aqua bag company, they are very quick to respond and help.
For power shots how's the swaying on the 18" aqua bag? I'm looking at either the 21" or the 18" bag, but wanting one that won't sway too much. I appreciate the video bro!
For sure go with the 21” if your style is mainly power shots. For me I don’t really power up on my shots, unless I’m setting something up. I focus more on rhythm, footwork, and flow (with occasional power). The 18” will swing, but only when I tee off with power shots. Also consider I weigh 145lb around 5’7 Though I’m on the smaller side I can pack a heavy blow. So if you’re around my size 18 might not be bad. But if you wanted that extra insurance and weight, I’d go with true 21”
Not speaking from experience but I'd be worried about kneeing it elbowing it or kicking it as it doesn't have the padding that your gloves have and could put more wear and tear on the bag. Maybe I'd do it once in awhile with shinguard or elbow or kneepads on.
I want to get one of these to train cardio. I am no boxer and do not intend to get in to actual fighting, I just want the workout. Do you recommend to a beginner like me to wrap my knuckles and use full size gloves like training on a standard heavy bag?

Hey brother! That’s great that you’re training. I think for technique the 15 inch may be more beneficial. Because of the slimmer and lighter nature of the bag, you’re punches will tend to be sharper and snappier. Both are fantastic, and perhaps one day if you feel like you want to size up, the 18 inch is always there. Here is a reference I’ll use to end off, if you like to hit the bag like Floyd Mayweather (Cadence, Rhythm, occasional power) I’d go with the 15 inch. If you like to hit the bag like Mike Tyson (power, tenacity, intensity) I’d go with the 18 inch bag. Hope that helps a bit! Cheers, Jason
@@SENSEIJASON Wow thanks for the detailed response! The reference was really useful. So underrated bro. You also responded to my other comment and that was nice. Well I’m out in Cali, it hold up well outside. I’m not sure how well it does in extreme heat. What you could do is wrap a towel over it like it do, that may help
Is this better than a heavy bag? I have a heavy bag 100lb in my garage gym but have been considering switching to an aqua. Is it better than a heavy bag?
Well, it's always good to have different bags. I like standard heavy bags, and I also like the aqua bags too. Just depends on your needs as a martial artist.
@@SENSEIJASON no I totally get that, which is better if you're trying to be a real fighter anyway. I don't think anything can happen to a 120lb ball of water encased in thick rubber though, it just looks like it'd be really fun to hit hard lmao
Do you still use traditional heavy bags or have you replaced them with aqua bags? Just wondering if I should sell my heavy bag once my aqua bag arrives.
How wide is your stand? I have a 100lb standard heavy bag and it swings wayyy too much. Would this swing less than a standard 120lb bag? I was considering the 190lb aqua bag but imma have a problem mounting it. I weigh 160 and am a mid power puncher who likes to move around.
I just kept filling it up, I personally don’t fill a the way though, because subconsciously I have a fear that the bag will burst LOl. So I pretty much fill it all the way and let it drain a few seconds. This is intentional.
Hey my friend, your heavy bag is perfectly fine in my opinion. For me I got the aqua bag because some boxers I look up to frequently train on them. And also because of my personal fighting style. I love to throw uppercuts and work my movement around the bag. The aqua bag let’s me fully duck underneath which is something you cannot achieve on a standard heavy bag. Also uppercuts on a standard heavy bag will not be true uppercut motion.
If you are experienced (1-2 years minimum) I’d go for the 18 inch (given you have the proper space and money). If you are kind of starting out, on a budget, and/or don’t have space, I’d go with the 15inch
I honestly can't say, I've never used a wrecking ball bag. Imagine the trajectory of your punches will be similar to an aqua bag, but the feel and power development maybe different.

Agree
How do you pump air through the plug hole to make it round? I can't get any air to go through...
Try to fill it up to the max with water, and remove the nozzle and plug it up quickly, this usually gets the job done.
Is it weather proof? Cuz god knows how bad the heat is in Texas!!!!
Well I’m out in Cali, it hold up well outside. I’m not sure how well it does in extreme heat. What you could do is wrap a towel over it like it do, that may help
I did a home made polyform 160lbs one it is legit you can get em cheap online
Thanks for sharing!
Dude this is a really great review, definitely subbing
I appreciate that my friend! Thank you for watching and have a great day!

Are you trying to hit it that soft? If not, at least really rip a couple to show what it's capable of taking
I mean, that’s just not my style to throw bombs like a madman. I’m more into the sweet science the way Ali threw his punches.
@@SENSEIJASON no I totally get that, which is better if you're trying to be a real fighter anyway. I don't think anything can happen to a 120lb ball of water encased in thick rubber though, it just looks like it'd be really fun to hit hard lmao
If your question is, is the bag a tough durable bag? Yes my friend it is worth every penny.
@@SENSEIJASON i just ordered the 75lb one. Looking forward to using it, great review and video my guy💪🏻
Whyd he say my name jason like he was introducing himself to the mexican wolverine?
Hmm I didn’t know it came off like that. Anyway how was the video, do you have any questions about the bag?
-Jason
Do you still use traditional heavy bags or have you replaced them with aqua bags? Just wondering if I should sell my heavy bag once my aqua bag arrives.
I still use traditional heavy bags. The one I have is only 50 lbs by everlast. So for me it is better to use the aqua bags.
I bought one brother 💪🏽🙏🏽 good looks
How wide is your stand?
I have a 100lb standard heavy bag and it swings wayyy too much. Would this swing less than a standard 120lb bag?
I was considering the 190lb aqua bag but imma have a problem mounting it. I weigh 160 and am a mid power puncher who likes to move around.
Here is my DIY stand video, it covers much of your questions: ruclips.net/video/Iari4sKPYjY/видео.html
Let me know if you have further questions.
What sweat suit is that !
That bag is literally 🔥
Thank you boss!
DIY bag is smart, good for slipping
I just got a buoy don't need no colorful bag with a brand name but ya great bag
Nice! Hope you like it 🔥
I got the blue one and it’s awesome! Probably get the orange 75 pounds one. How often should you drain them?
I haven’t drained any of my bags yet. I suppose only when you need to transport them.
Im buying a black version of this. Aqua bags are the best bags for boxing since they feel realistic and you can do uppercuts on them. Absolute 🔥🔥🔥
You will love it brother! Hope it works out and let me know if you have any questions!
hey bro tell me about that home made bag stand...looks awesome! how did you build it ? what materials? thanks ! great review !
Here is a video I made about it! ruclips.net/video/4VEWOf9YoG0/видео.html
Sweeeet!!
OSS!
Those gloves looks elite, what's the brand?
Yokkao
I need one of those!
Yessir! Every serious fighter does!
How were you able to get rid of the wrinkles on top of the bag??
I just kept filling it up, I personally don’t fill a the way though, because subconsciously I have a fear that the bag will burst LOl. So I pretty much fill it all the way and let it drain a few seconds. This is intentional.
I really want one but idk how much it will benefit me over my normal 5ft heavy bag
What’s your opinion on the 18inch compared to the 15inch bag? I’m trying to decide which one to buy. Thanks I’m advance.
If you are experienced (1-2 years minimum) I’d go for the 18 inch (given you have the proper space and money).
If you are kind of starting out, on a budget, and/or don’t have space, I’d go with the 15inch
@@SENSEIJASON 18” bag it is. Thank you for responding brother
can aqua water bag be left outside like that?
Hell yes 🔥
I like the video Please where can I get your stand?
This stand is actually homemade by my father more than 20 years ago.
SENSEI NICE 🥋
Thank you brother as always! God bless!
-Jason
How about the 75lb bag vs a wrecking ball bag?
I honestly can't say, I've never used a wrecking ball bag. Imagine the trajectory of your punches will be similar to an aqua bag, but the feel and power development maybe different.
nice review man. Any tips on how high to hang the bag? It seems like you have the equator(middle) of the bag around your eye level when in boxing stance?
I’d say the equator should be a little higher than eye level, but my soft loop ties that I use to hang the bag, are bit longer than my preference.
@@SENSEIJASON cheers!
Things I want.
Lol i used a jolly jump ball with a handle, that bag felt the soo deeum good on the hands but just broke it Cause i didn't have a good handle. And just used truck straps. But thank you J for the duoy idea ✊☝ you soild as heck
Thank you for the awesome comment brother! God bless!
@@SENSEIJASON Rock Steady ✊☝ for sure.
Hey Jason.... thx for the review. Can i ask if there is any risk of the hook/buckle at the top of the bag rusting if i leave the bag outside? Thx.
You can always purchase one that is galvanized. Galvanization ensures it will not rust
Thanks!
Shit I just realized you spoke on it
All good bro, best of luck with the bag!
What gloves are you using pretty clean
Hey my friend! These are Muay Thai gloves by YOKKAO 🔥🙏
