Definitely not a fan myself, but I do appreciate your peculiar dedication to the glow puck. Plus, the man who made that monstrosity is clearly a mad scientist. I mean just look at him!
As someone who is considered a casual I watch rarely, but, I’d definitely watch more games if they brought back the glow puck. At least have an option for both audiences.
I dunno. Maybe the purists were right back then, but with today's TV graphics I don't think it would think it would stick out like a sore thumb anymore. I'm surprised it wasn't done in other sports.
And now Bally Sports has brought it back. I don't understand why networks think we want more distracting clutter all over the ice. Isn't the objective supposed to be to make people want to watch the games? Enough of all the annoying and distracting graphics. We don't need or want all the pointless extra curricular fluff that adds nothing to the telecast. We just want to want hockey in it's purest form.
Technology has pretty much changed in professional hockey...the computerized hockey shouldn't. I find the puck tracker is the most stupidest invention ever made. It is the most thing I have seen and is really distracting and useless. I see the puck very well, and at the speed of 90 to 100 mph (145 to 160 kph). This invention was made for whimps that never played or even doesn't know the rules...enough said
The last sentence is exactly the point. It's for people that aren't super fans and trying to get into the game. More fans is a net positive for the sport.

That's a cool idea!
That was a clusterfuck from the word go.
Glowpuck was def a good idea
I remember when it came out literally everyone was talking about it. It was such an exciting time😅
Ian Cutler looks a lot like Larry Storch
Great recap
Bring it back!
Back in the day I was okay with the glowing puck. It was the long comet tail that bugged me.
Bring it back

Bring it back and make the puck a gold color
I want glow tech for everyday life. Can't find your keys? Glow keys. TV remote missing? No it isn't. Lost dog? Look, he's over there eating that turd.

Looks like Iron Man’s arc reactor
