For the past 1,5 seasons Bob has been nothing short of fantastic
His entire 2021/22 season was also excellent. It was a bit of a surprise that he wasn't one of the top three nominees for the Vezina that year, though the competition was pretty tough. Another Russian, Shesterkin, had a season of a lifetime that year, among others.
Gotta love the term "undisclosed". Basically, it could be just "closed", I guess? :)
Main reason for Panthers current success is Barkov and you barely mentioned him? Im curious
If Florida had any decent goalie they’d be in the exact same position
nah Bob carry
"Any decent goalie" wouldn't have stolen game 1 against the oilers.
"Any decent goalie" would hardly have 36 wins from only 58 games this season and they would certainly NOT have astounding 39 wins and only 7 losses from only 54 games played back in 21/22.

Well done good sir
I’ve been a panthers fan for a little over 10 years I’ve gone from getting mad at relocation rumors to now watching my team play for Lord Stanley’s mug for the second consecutive season. If the cats lift the cup this year it will mean so much for us that stuck with the team through the dark times LET’S GO PANTHERS
Excellent video. Definitely earned a sub. We have an interesting history, to say the least. These 30 years have been excruciating at times. 2 wins away. #GOCATSGO
Great video. Conn Smythe Bob will definitely win it all. #GOCATSGO
🌴🐀🌴
Bob with 4-1 cup win. I want to say 4-0.
This man makes some great hockey vids, how does he not have more subscribers? Just subscribed! Keep it up! Bobby!!!
These videos are great😊
Am I crazy or did you completely miss the sale of the Panthers to the Violas. The ownership of the Violas is what turned the team around. I worked there. One step at a time, one division at a time, the Violas completely changed how the organization was run both from the team to the arena to the community involvement. They brought in Zito. The Violas were a pivotal change and impact to the team, fanbase and community. Even the new facility downtown helped revitalize Fort Lauderdale too. How can you do this whole video and leave them out?! And also not really discuss the current season which will most likely produce the Cup! I would love to see this whole history of the Panthers redone and done more thoroughly.
Bobrovsky Conn Smyth winner 🤘
Sergei Bobrovsky ; the goaltender who saved the panthers from relocation.
Oh look everyone! Originality!
Do you Know to win Games you need to score right? 😂 lame ahh takes from this clowns
a cup will make his contract worth it but we were many questioning his ability struggling so much.
That was the case of only his first two seasons with the Panthers where he was being uneven. Everything properly turned around for him in 2021/22. That season he had astounding 39 wins (I think that he led the entire league) and only 7 losses (!!!) from only 54 games played. I mean, that's really something!
@@subraxas I do agree ever since 21-22 season he's been great, except in the finals last year maybe... but it is also as if the team in front of him just wasn't at the required level. This year certainly feels different. 2 wins at home. Sergei could lift the cup in Edmonton on saturday to celebrate quite a career from being undrafted no less!
Been a far away Panther fan since 2004. I've followed them more closely the last 7 or so years, ever since drafting Ekblad pretty much. I love what they've done, taking each step and putting the pieces together, especially under Bill Zito. Hiring Paul Maurice was genuis. He seem to suit this team of players so well. His pressers are awesome to listen to. I love where this franchise is going and I hope they can get past Edmonton. 2 games won, 2 to go!!! Cheers from Malmö, Sweden.
Let’s go cats
Bro, u cant talk about panthers history without talking barkovs drafting and development
You mean the rise of Ex-Sabres lol
Great video! Very detailed video! Let’s go Panthers!!!!
The Lighting are still the king of hockey in FL......come see us when you win a couple more cups.....honestly glad to see the Panthers get better as the rivalry between Panthers/Bolts is exciting now (lets be honest, it was a one sided rivalry up to this year)
Fuck off. Your input was not needed…. Talented 1-4 L and move on
My thoughts on it is that even if it was in the Calgary Flames didn’t “deserve” to win that cup. Because all teams, even champions have moments where luck doesn’t go there way, and you know what they still find a way to win. They had an entire two overtime’s to score in that game six, and they did not score. They had an entire game 7 to win the series and they stunk for the first two periods and only managed to muster up one goal late in the third to keep it interesting. Calgary had their opportunity’s to win, and they blew it. Let’s not forget this team also got shutout on home ice in game four of this series to. If they manage to play good that game they win the series in five games. There is no “this team deserved to win the cup but they didn’t” they either deserved it or they didn’t. It’s why we play series people, Tampa was the better team and they played like it when it mattered most.
The NHL stated that the goal was allowed because Hull was in possession of the puck the entire time due to him "kicking the puck to his stick with his left skate" someone please show me where that happens because I don't see it. I see Hasek cover it with his glove (Haseks possession) followed by another Sabre skating in and jarring it loose, followed by hull slapping it in. Someone please show me Hulls kick pass to himself.
Let’s go Panthers!!!!!
2 games away from the Glory!
this is so amazing. THE RAT
Subtle Brown-Eyed Woman in the background ;)
🤘🏻
the fall will be soon after.
If the Panthers do win it this year, it'll be extremely well deserved! As someone who grew up in the NYC metro of the late 70s and early 80s, the Panthers remind me of the NY Islanders. They have all the pieces to become a dynasty. Go Cats!!!!!!!
I was fascinated border line obsessed with goalie gear when I was a kid (born '86). I'll always remember Stéphane Fiset's igloo mask, Ed Belfour's eagle...and John Van Biesbrouck's panther. The crème de la crème of the 90s. Best of luck to the team for the ongoing final. Subscribed
I think you should re-phrase that: McDavid and the Oilers need to get past the Panthers ;)
The rat 🐀 king baby
I grew up in Miami and was in love with hockey growing up. I went to several games as a kid in the 90's, until we moved up North. I used to go to a ton of minor league games and went to a few Flyers games, but always loved the Panthers. I think this is our year. Game 1 was sensational for Sergei Bobrovsky. We need just 3 more!!
The only good things about the Whalers was the team’s logo, Gordie Howe and the fact they moved out of the Bruins territory!
Not sure but I think Bobby Orr. Found him homeless. In Vancouver. Paid for his surgery. . Got him back
Let's go cats
1:00 you mean an IUCN “species of least concern” that was disappearing in florida.
Panthers are alot like the canes. Bad success for a long time, resurrection at the same time.
Hopefully this saves the panthers from relocation.
with their success over the last three seasons, there's no longer any concern for that. Amerant Bank has sold out every home game for two straight years now and have more than doubled their corporate sponsorships while tripling the prices of tickets over that same period. And still sell out every home game, so they're fine.
They just moved into a brand new practice facility and their lease at Amerant runs until 2028. With the recent success the team has had, they’ve had no problems selling out Amerant Bank arena and aren’t being plagued by attendance issues. They’re here for the long haul.
Bruins fan pulling for the Panthers.
I remember thinking pathers drought was bad now look at buffalos
Great Video 📸
As a diehard VGK fan that had our taste of the cup last year, I hope the panthers can bring it home this year. Such a special team! I'm rooting for you guys all the way! Best of luck!
Cheers from Florida!!!
You cheated by injuring our best player.
@@DarkCode hits are a name of the game bud. It happens
worst team ever, didnt deserve the cup
Bruh I apologize for these two guys, a sport is just that, a sport. Not that serious guys, it has no affect on our lives lol get over it
Haters will always hate. Panther fans know this and don’t care. To quote the Weeknd “save your tears for another day.”
For the 2024 cup series; Go Oilers.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great vid!
I love this team so much even though we don't have that damn cup, not YET! I've been a Panthers fan for six years now after going to my first NHL game in February 2018. I was 10 years old! I live in Europe but I still watch every single playoff game of the Cats, of course. But yeah.. Good vid, keep it up and now and always in the future, GO CATS!
I was at the very First game at the old Miami arena. 2 to 1 penguins, One goal scored by Marty Straka (wonder why I Remember such s thing). I got the ticket Just a couple of days before. I've bene thru thin and thick, mostly thin, but the journey has been Amazing. Thx mr. Viola, thx mr. Zito, thx mr. Maurice. You have no idea what this means to a lot of us
I was there first exhibition and first game Got there in the 2nd period(we were late) man I've gone through so much pain over the years but I'm glad I stuck it out
