I’ve still got my #34 Beezer jersey from the 93/94 inaugural season. Still fits perfectly … ok not so much🤣 Yes, some Panthers fans have been fans since Day 1. We aren’t all recent fans since the team started having success the past few years. We never had a chance in this series in the pre-salary cap era. That Avs team was one of the greatest teams ever with the best goalie ever. Prior to 2020 we had only 5 playoff appearances in 27 years. There were countless “lean” years and tons of disappointments. To be honest, I never thought the Panthers would win the Cup in my lifetime. I cried. Then cried again. And will probably cry again. Miami Dolphins, you’re on the clock. Winning in January 1973 to complete the 1972 perfect season doesn’t count as winning in my lifetime. I was 13 months old 😆
