Health care is even crazier in the USA. After more than a decade being self-employed, I took a job that only offered Kaisar Permanente. Prior to that, I paid for Anthem Blue Cross at a huge premium. One night I had a strange pain and called Kaisar's nurse hotline. They told me to go to ER today. It was 10:30 PM so I said, "like tomorrow?" they said, no now. I decided to go to bed but couldn't fall asleep and got up and drove to ER. Admitted and had surgery couple hours later. Few months later, I worked in Spain and had full coverage with zero deductibles/co-payments. However, no Rx coverage for my blood pressure and cholesterol medications. Hum, I paid less than my co-payments on these medications than when I had full coverage in USA. Crazy because these meds were created in USA with taxpayer funding, but the co-payments were higher than paying full price in Spain. That sucks.
We pay more for drugs in Canada, they aren’t covered unless you have private insurance.
I’d pay just about anything to be able to access healthcare at this point. Haven’t had a doctor in nearly 10 years, sitting on a wait list the entire time. They only called to try and drop me off the list.
He might wanna look into some sort of anti-choking essential oil....
Or he might need his chakras aligned. Perhaps a crystal or two.

Which part? I’m from US but all I ever hear is that Canada’s healthcare system is so much better than US’.
I had a doctor that treated his waiting room like it was a Sunday school on crack. He had religious programs on the T.V that were spewing out anti-vax advice during the pandemic! Then he had his practice closed because he was doing some things that were..lets say...frowned upon. leaving all his patients in a lurch. I still haven't been able to find another doctor. Under funding and the existing funding model coupled with over strict rules on foreign doctors have left our health system in disarray. Any Cuban doctor would have been better then that pill pushing zealot and could have easily sent me to a specialist if need be. Now that my rants done, I love your satire and you're the best "this hour has 22 minutes"

Way too funny and accurate even in Canada… I once left an ER and wasn’t seen because I had enough of the bullshit…..still waiting on a specialist that expects me to miss work

Wow, way too funny, and nice set too, and in America, if you call 911, the cops will arrive in about 3 minutes, and an ambulance crew in 6 minutes or so, no matter you live, almost.🎉😂🎉

@@zqxzqxzqx1 Fantasy? About 8 years ago at this farmhouse, I woke up and could not breathe, called 911, ambulance was here in 7 minutes and I"m 5 miles out of town. Fantasy?
This routine would have been so much better with old dr robert strang doing one of his cutesy pooh routines like he did l your ass show during covid! Please defend the cbc!
The doctor training should cost that highe. We don't need know it all doctors. And family doctors is thing belongs to "wild west ages" centralized it and make it efficient.
