Airbus does not need to even advertise or market their A320NEO family anymore thanks to Boeing
hahaha
No one does advertisement in commercial aircraft industry
@@sahryun Farnborough Airshow?
@@sahryun Yeah, but word gets around the industry very fast, especially about Boeing problems...
You know what tons of a320 neos are grounded right now, right? More 320s are grounded than 737 max
Ryanair playbook is probably this:
Either pressure Airbus to give fast track backlog and cheap bulk order or
Pressure Boeing for even more discounts.
Yeap.
That's always the plan.
Airbus doesn’t need to give big discounts.
@@jeremypearson6852It needs to build new production facilities asap.
@@trevorhart545It is doing that building already
Frr
dont take him seriously. he just wants to squeeze boeing for more discounts. he has done this before
If he wont tell the discount he gets then my guess is about 65-70% on list price...
@@skylineXpert I think it is known that you can't really get much discount for 737 and 320?
@@chrisli210with wholesale orders 50+ or 100+ you can
Understand: "Boeing, I need MORE DISCOUNT " your 737-8 Max down in market value, for more SALES takes me Discounts😂
Always trying to pressure people is Mr O’Leary. It’s always about getting the price down further.
He’s good at posturing.
True., It's his job. And he's damn good at it. This is another trick straight out of the Ryanair playbook. MO'L doesn't want Airbus. He's after the cheap 737s which will be popping up shortly with United and others pulling their orders. The timing is right too. With the FAA quite rightly watching over every bolt Boeing screw in, his max deliveries will be delayed even further.
Last September (2023) there were around 43 max8 jets still to be delivered, initially supposed to arrive by this month! He has got 15 since then, costing Ryanair more money on fuel and lost revenue due to operating less seats for sale. Not to mention the 150 orders and 150 options for the max10. His goal is to get cheaper aircraft and quicker deliveries and with Boeing in turmoil at the moment, he's striking while the iron's hot.
You right James, he is good at it.
And he knows that Boeing will listen, Ryanair are Europe’s most important 737 customer .
He doesn't posture....he does. The man who introduced Europe to low cost flights. He doesn't need to posture
RyanAir goes tire kicking at Airbus this time to get more discounts from Boeing.
You gotta love the timing of this message.
He’s trying to get like 50% discount on Boeing planes 😂
Would always take the 320 option.. massive track record.. vast support network.. nuf said
He's playing the aircraft manufacturers...
Rayan air wil not regret it
Ryanair *
Talk is cheap !!!!
Yeah. Who wouldn’t want more? It’s high time Aeromexico gets its feet wet and order some A321s and A220s. Man. I’d love that.
I think that this remark will not go unnoticed in Toulouse
He makes sense thats why the ryan family gave him control all those years ago he knows what he is about and how to get things done his way. Save .oney with one hand make money with the other.
This is for discounts on the 737-10s that US carriers don't want.
Will you cover or have you already covered the closure of Lauda’s closure if it’s Stansted crew base and why it’s made that move?
Brexit
He already has started moving people from Lauda to Ryanair Dac
Ooo how interesting!!!
This is what Alaska Airlines should have done instead of ditching all the Virgin America Airbus planes, but short term profit right?
It's never gonna happen but PLEASE, give me those thicc A320 NEO engines mr O
You’ve got to change model *eventually* so you have to expect some overlap at some point
Probably starting to notice that the public are not so keen to get on the `flying coffins´!.
But they are big enough to hold the whole family.
So you work for Airbus? COMAC?
Until you realize the "flying coffin" is safer than your car.
I wouldn’t let Boeing build my car.
@@steinarnielsen8954 So you realise that the 737 Max aircraft can wrest the plane from the pilot or driver. The 737 Max aircraft is the most dangerous modern airplane. It entered service in 2017 and already has 346 deaths attributed to it.
Correction: Ryanair "Holdings" CEO
Haha I won’t fly ryanair 737 max
It’s just pr.
Ryanair always delays ordering aircraft until it is too late.
Is that why Ryanair have youngest and cheapest Boeing fleet worldwide?
This man deffo prays for fatal Boeing disasters so he can get some more discounts. This is just another example in this tug of war. Awful man O’Leary who has made vile comments over the years
Oh my god, the name 😂
Last year he was still saying the B737 is the best aircraft available 😂
he on about lauda in the case of more a320s
@@theoschofield1495 saw that, he is stuck but still using his big mouth ...
Because the a320 is not available
Home run!
From “game changer” to “game over” for the B737 MAX
Interesting 🤔
If it ain’t Airbus, I ain’t riding it
If it ain’t airbus im taking the bus

cmon man, good old 737-800s are fine
@@enfantterrible4868Know what? I rather be on older B737 NGs over new MAXes for now.
Prefer the 737, despite its issues.
Probably just saying this to pressurise Boeing to give him more discounts. He has no intention on getting Airbus aircraft.
Get in the line.
Interesting indeed!
Michael O’Leary and the blarney once again ☘️
Do Lauda aircraft conflict with noise legislation ?
I trust only airbus , i fly only airbus ❤
I like to say the same but Airbus is probably facing demand issues.
Ryanair+Boeing Max = Yikes
Ryanair + Boeing Max = One of the best safety records of any airline around the globe
And O'Leary's "playbook" is all about covertly threatening one manufacturer that he will order the competitions product, he does it all the time. Pathetic reporting
The world's biggest fanboy of the 737 Stuka
He wants discounts from Boeing
Aren’t b737 already cheap?? Soon they will be giving them for free
@@herceg6772When you order 300 at once they are the cheapest option.
I will avoid Ryanair even more if they purchase the 737-Max-series instead of A-320-neo. At least the latter plane-type will make me come home in one piece and with significantly lower risk of incidents.
And how many incidents have they had with their 737 max or NG?
The 737 max is probably the safest airplane in the sky
@@CineZoneYT The 777x is the safest airplane. It can't crash if it's never delivered.
O'leary has realised that Airbus are proper!
why is you tube making it soooooooooooooooooooooooooo hard to save vidoes to playlists 97% of the videos i need to load several times before the option to save to playlist actually is there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Crazy
I feel badly for airlines now stuck with Boeing aircraft. I won’t fly on Boeings. The company can not be trusted.
The main thing is: “I will avoid to fly ryanair…I do not want to be seated in any max!!!”
If I calculated correctly, Ryanair is the reason Boeing still sells more 737s than Airbus does 320s. O'Leary is basically threatening Airbus to build more craft, at the same time dangling the lure of becoming the head honchos right before their eyes.
Actually the A320 has surpassed the B737 in sales.
Have what you like Ryanair, I've flown with you once ...... never again, ever!!!!
I didn't think they had any airbus at all
✈️
Airbus doesn’t need the likes of O Leary he’s a mouth and only doing this because he can’t get more cheap flying coffin 737:
Just like easy jet then .
I wonder if this guy is even considering the COMAC C919 … he seems to like bargains
He probably would. But at the moment, their production rate is very low. 4/5 per month I read some time ago.
There's a bunch of grounded GoAir planes in India. RyanAir should take them.
And all because the max is unsafe.
Of course he does! That is why all the eggs should never be in one basket and never say never !
A320=X
737-800=X
767=YES
Boeing will be furious about this lol
No they wont, they already know his tactics.
Entirely misleading headline considering this has absolutely nothing to do with Ryanair
0'Leary looking for bigger discount from Boeing
O'Leary is growing Leary of Boeing 😂
It surprises me that Airbus doesnt increase capacity, esp with Boeings woes.
Airbus is trying but it really can't, at least based on the current supplier situation. Adding new assembly lines is meaningless if suppliers can't keep up. However, Airbus is ramping up production at it's existing sites.
Airbus isn't the problem, they just can't get the parts enough.
I'm hooked!
I'm fairly sure it's pronounced lawder rather than loudar
Im fairly sure there is no r at the end at all
Try ’louda’.
Never believe in MOL speeches
I swear simple flying and every other aviation news site is just turning into a320neo adverts.

What’s the joke here?
He has got the vast of his eggs in the Boeing basket, make sense to go window shopping when Boeing can't deliver fault free aircraft.
I wouldn't be happy flying in the max.
You must keep your dangerous 737 Max ….. For this reason I stopped flying with your omnibus
Wow, Ryanair suddenly cares about passenger safety ?
They have better safety record than legacy airlines
🙃
I think Nikki (Lauda) would approve
For Lauda only though.
Does he, or is Michael O'Leary doing his annual moan/threat to Boeing. He's clearly now regretting his decision to put most of his eggs in one basket. I imagine he's thinking airbus will jump through his hoops.
LoL
Anyone from India? 😂

That's the idea keep your money where your customers are
Are there any Indians and Pakistanis here and wonder the weird name of airline
I am sorry, I cannot get the joke, but the airline has been named after its founder and Formula One legend, Niki Lauda. Go look him up!

Strange to hear when you’re old enough to recall the “Scarebus” days. Boeing needs to sort themself out. Airbus planes feel so much cheaper to ride on.
