Shawn, you and I are the same age and I think that we think that this genre of cars are the bees knees! Such a great build! No LS, no weird new trans, no electronic anything, so cool!
I LOVE IMPALAS!!!! TOTALLY AWESOME FAMILY CRUISER!!!!! SO CLEAN AND SIMPLE!!!! GREAT VIDEO & THANKS FOR SHARING!!!
I really like that '63 Impala. It gives off the vibes of " Speak softly, yet carry a big stick" . Very smooth lines, super clean all over inside out, and a strong 350 with healthy vocal cords. Great job and a well done video.
Finally!!!!! Yesssss. As a fellow Chevy owner (mines a 64 not 63), LOVE IT.
Badass car all around, not pure racecar esk but driver oriented. Love it
Who could possibly thumbs down this piece of art, absolutely beautiful 🌹
Always been more of a Ford and MOPAR guy when it comes to classics, but have always loved this gen of Impala. What a great example. Sounds great
Getting Grandpa's 63 up and running soon. Love everything about this build! Great inspiration!
The beauty & the beast! In one body! LOVE IT!
When the world end I would like to be sitting in this Impala!
Sweet Impala, My parents bought a '63 Impala SS new, great memories, another great car.
Can definitely dig this Impala. I have a 64 and 66 and 71 Impalas haven't done a thing to them all was passed down to me needs very little work. The 64 belonged to my great aunt we barely drove it got it in 65 had since. The other Impalas belonged to my father gave them to me before he passed away.
Hey Shawn,
I really dig your style! You show appreciation for the dudes build
Used to be a BIG BLOCKS ONLY guy, but after hearing these monsters rev over 7k rpm, these cars can handle it! There's something truly different about american muscle revving high, I just did a video on it lol. Absolutely in love with this build!
Beautiful car. Brings back memories of my Father in Laws 64. He's passed and my MonsterInLaw sold it for a song and a dance instead of giving it to her only grandchild.
Thats a clean, simple build. Great looking car. Love the traditional small block chevy instead of an LS swap.
I love that he kept it old school too
Shawn, thanks for bringing this car on the show. Loved it. Right color taste and fit. The owner should be proud of this wonderful car!
thanks I am proud of it
Love the old Impala's this is very nice the color is perfect and the Flow Master sound is the best my favorite year is a 65
What a clean and solid build! Will always have a place for Impala, my dad had one like that, in white, I remember us cruising at 120mph like it was no effort at all, just sailing along....
What a beatifully made car and there is something about a nicely made small block chevy that really catches the eye. Awesome!
I love the simplicity and purity of this one
So sick!! Muscle car/truck content on RUclips is saturated with LS swaps.. Refreshing to see a SBC instead of an LS
I love em all but very refreshing to see him keeping it old school and cool
Another beautiful car another great owner
Nicely balanced design and engineering choices! Beautiful build.
Killer ride!
Nice car man i was born early 60s so I was fortunate enough to ride in most of the old hotrod's made back in the day as we call it they don't make em like that anymore nice to see these old school car's.
1963 to the 1965-66-67 fastbacks are SO beautiful! Love the Old School/New School build! Find new roads!
Man, that is Beautiful. It's a perfect set up, wheels, ride height, sound :)
Amy Impala is a good Impala 💯
Bo Rerun 🤘
props to him for doing it different, 63 impala usually equals a few switches and some pumps😎.
Very nice! All of the updates make sense. It seems like the sort of car that you can drive anywhere. It's pretty much the same way I'm building my chevelle.
What a car! I now believe in love at first sight! Great episode, keep up the great work!!
Clean and simple, beautiful car
63 impala son. They were 1 year cars for a while. Impossible to mistake.
What a sweet ride!!!! Love the engine, paint and interior. Oh and it's not a lowrider!!! Nothing against lowriders, just admire it was built to run!!!
What a cool Impala!! Love everything about this build and how it was styled. Nothing crazy over the top and man that interior is just gorgeous!! Kudos for one sweet looking ride!!👍👍
Wow Sean the Impala I love the old Impalas and for for him to keep disempowered basically stop I love that the interior is beautiful The body lines the molding the decals everything it's a beautiful car and not to have a radical setup in the engine compartment keeping it basically a wolf in sheep's clothing so to speak kind of like a sleeper but all in all a beautiful car love the setup the motor the color just downright a beautiful car thank you for sharing
That's a nice 63 Impala, Cheers 🤘
I LOVE the dash! Thanks for keeping it real ( along with that rear speaker we all heard as kids riding in the back). Awesome!
Nicely done man. Love 60s Impalas.
great "Dad car" build. Flowmasters man. Does have a nostalgia sound. I have a 1962 Impala 409 with side exit. Believe me, its a necessity.
What mufflers do you recommend?
@@63Imp283 Flowmaster 40s.
@@63Imp283 I have flowmaster super 44s now but going to black widow exhaust "neighbor hater"
@@PeachCoastLowrider never heard of those I'll have to look them up. I don't mind loud as long as it sounds good
I have been waiting for a build like this.
Sound guy, sweet car, whats not to like, respect 👌👍
Nice ride! Clean and simple. 👍
That’s a pretty car, love an Impala, I had a 62 once.
Classy beautiful , all the upgrades don't detract from the original design , just add to the driving pleasure , sweet!
Clean asf 63'. Got the ole skool craigs😎 legendary
Nice to see an old school sbc.... 👨🏽🔧👍🏽
Nice ride 👍
Cool, like the retro mod.
1963 beauty
Another nice one.
Soo cleannn. Loved hearing that sbc. Makes me NOT want to ls swap.
thats a great ride like the color and sound damn thats a ride i would like to cruise in 👍🏻🇺🇸
The Full size Chevrolet Muscle cars Bel air biscayne Caprice and Impala are legendary for the 50's through the 70's I like those big boats with tires as long as they can build them to run fast
Holy nutballs a chevy without an ls
Hard to bet a 350 but I wish it had been a 327 period correct!
I thought the Imapla was pretty fast for what looks like a relatively mild build sbc but then I saw the O2 wideband gauge in the cluster so he's totally got it his carburetor optimized for this build. Very nice!
Great carp and really nice guy more home builds like this
Yeah I like muscle built in the way we did it back than. Parts we saved up for with our weekly pay checks..built by ourselves and our friends..Not the fastest..biggest horse power beasts of today..but still so cool.
Clean sounded and stance! Digging the added clips as well. 🤙🏼
“ PRAISE DA’ LOWERED 🔥🔥🏁
💯🔥
Sooo clean
Clean old school ride for sure
To the tune of a classic by Brownsville Station, it looks like Shawn is smokin' in the new year.
Excellent build
Beautiful build! Always giving us great content and awesome builds thanks guys!
I would love to see an El Camino on here...nice impala tho
more el caminos !
Yeah, bring me and my custom '64 El Camino and '83 'El Camino with Monte Carlo SS front end on!! I'll even drive one down and tow the other down from Oregon. Well, maybe while I'd have to go over the pass in winter, I'd drive my Duramax and tow them both in the enclosed.
59s and 60s were based on Impalas! 👍
amazing, a '63 impala that's not bagged or a lowrider...i like it..
IKR?
Great car. Not a $300k build. Perfect!!
Chevy Impala are just beautiful cars especially the 60's.
This is pure American muscle 💪🏽 🔥🚀🚗
Hard for me to consider a ‘63 Impala as a hot rod. They have forever been the #1 choice for low riders.
Nothing better than a big bad blue land yacht
Dope
its got some balls
My father had one 1963 impala same blue green color is my all time favorite big car body style the lines so much style on this car screams classy l really like this one even the color is perfect
Always enjoy the content !
SMOOTH
If you get a '67 black Impala Supernatural fans will go wild (myself included xd)
Nice 😎
Love it.😮
That's a Six Tre homie
Yep. That works.
Nice 63 impala
My favorite year for Impala.....looks bitchin man....just simple and good looking
Side exit = Nascar = Yus
Amazing!
Awesome car! I love nicely done old school period correct stuff. Do you run into any nice high horsepower 65 Impala's out there? Would love to see one.
This isnt a 64 brotha...its a 63
great ride i like these builds because its not a miliion dollars
Great 63’
Great owner
Great build and color
Curious how that steering geometry really feels and if it would have bolted up to my 65’
And that overdrive unit ...
Hit up Rich...his info is in the description of the video
The steering is great. I got rid of the original steering intermediate shaft and rag joint, and installed a CPP 500 series steering box with a telescoping double D intermediate shaft and u-joints. This removed almost all the play in the steering. This setup should work perfectly on a 65’
The transmission is a 200R4 stage 2 built by Bowtie Overdrives in Hesperia, CA. It’s a great trans with a 2600 stall lockup converter. This is a great swap if you have a TH350. All you need to do is replace the trans cross member. The driveshaft will not need to be messed with.
350 turbo, Power Glide and 200-4r are all the same length just need to move cross-member. It's the swap I'll be making! They came in Grand Nationals and Monte Carlo SS too
@@richboyadjian9604 nice ! I just got a 700r4 installed into my 63 from bow tie also . loving it so far ! but it doesn't seem to wanna kick down . when I'm going 70 and stomp it shouldn't it take off ? I have a blueprint 383
@@PeachCoastLowrider Check your TV cable adjustment. At wide open throttle it should be guitar string tight and the Throttle Valve should be all the way bottomed out in the valve body. At idle the cable should not have any slack in it and should just barely be touch the throttle valve.
Had my exhaust the same on my 64 impala.but I hated the exhaust coming down under the frame like on this one.i wished it went though the frame.but it perfect anyways.
yeah man I had the exhaust tucked on my 63 impala and it still scrapes .I have bags tho . I'm going to try black widow exhaust and maybe they can tuck it better
cool hot rod
Pure cool
👍 SHWEET!
Yeah, it’s a cool one for sure
Nice car, classic style but they are not heavy compared to the new cars!! Hell a 2020 Impala with the V 6. Weighs 4000 pounds!
Shawn, was that color Monaco Blue? What a beauty
I don’t remember what he said but his info is in the description of the video
GM 1963 color called Daytona Blue
@@richboyadjian9604 there were a few blues in 63...beautiful car
I believe this color was only available for pickup trucks. It was not an origins impala color.
🔥🔥🔥
Inspire from Savanna car GTA San Andreas 👍👍👍
Wat a car wat a motor, narly oldskool first gen sbc with flowmastrs i just want 1
Love everything about the car except for the ugly steering wheel.
Thanks for all the awesome videos!
Go for a big block baby
Thanks for not going with stupid diameter wheels. Nothing special? This car is all around beautiful!
this is what the undertaker drives
