- How to create your own face rig! Starting from complete scratch, making a face rig out of NOTHING!
I accidentally skipped out the mouth dropdown, so basically add a cube (same color as the head) and lock it onto the mouth, make it not inherit scale and position it at the bottom of the mouth (but not too far, because the scale makes that difference bigger.

@@themusicman9140 without mouth expressions it looks more like minecraft imo. these types of ultra realistic face rigs are kinda sucky. not to say they define the quality of the animation. sharp's a good animator.
@@Berh ye I see what you mean. I probably won't use mouth expressions much anyways. I'll only make exceptions for times when there isn't dialogue in my animations (ex. Someone taking a deep breath)

@@SharpWind lol don't worry he said #nohomo! it's just great when we're animating and we're both confused on something, like the first time we used mine imator, the feet kept sliding and we were trying to figure it out on how to stop that issue but we couldn't so we looked it up and your vid was there and it helped alot! we checked out your channel and we both got better and then I wanted to learn how to make the characters have eyes and mouths and then we came across your video again and now we know how to make eyes and mouths. It's just cool how much of animating you know. I love doing fight scenes and my boyfriend does romance scenes.

why am i searching up a face rig. my skin has a mask hiding it
Thanks for the tutorial but there is one problem I need to know, so basically beneath the x, y, z, (color thingy circle) there is another x, y, z, but it is together like Xyz I don't know how to make it the way it was for you, if I do I would be able to do it. (Ty for tutorial again :)
Theres a button that looks like a box witb an arrow, that lets you expand the X Y and Z axis on the scale

I wonder if it could work for a creeper mouth.
(My skin is a creeper, and I want to have a moveable mouth.)
The only thing it would really do is squash and stretch when talking.
it literally works on ANYTHING, but its still just square-shaped
so if you're cool with having a regular mouth on a creeper skin, then yes
unless you want to try and shape a mouth of an actual creeper, because that works as well
What if your Minecraft skin has two different colored eyes? Mine does.

when i downloaded your face rig, all the textures where like black and purple and im pretty sure that means that i dont have the right textures, so is there anyway i can have the textures 0_0
You've imported it wrong
There is also the face rig 2.0 that includes a tutorial how to use it properly
Why are there no pupils? The colored part is the IRIS, NOT the pupil [Edit]->(or the retina, past version of me! DO YOUR FREAKING RESEARCH!)!

How to make the tint, I tried but it was in front of my character's eyes.
Push the eyes forward by 0.01 or so, its not noticable
im watching in 2021, can you maybe do an updated version? i have 1.16 so i can't invert a cube for the eyes. Thanks! :)
The mechanics have remained the same, there's not really much to upgrade
The eye mechanics should also still work in 1.2.7 (1.16)
Render depht sempre para de funcionar. Toda vez que fecho e abro o projeto, preciso mudar o valor de cada coisa para 0 e depois para o número que estava antes, senão o programa interpreta todos os itens como 0

The Alpha glitch was maade on purpose because it's based on render depth.

Thx, but when I duplicate and parent in the eyebrow, it just makes a random scale that is not equal. Can you please help?
make sure all the attributes are the same (such as the "inherit scale" option, the fact that it's parented to the right asset, as well as the scale value itself (which can even be copied from the previous element)

I learned from tutorials how to do eyes and eyebrows and stuff but then i taught myself to make the mouth but it sucked because it was hard to do the smiles and stuff
i think im doing it wrong cuz my inverts on eye not working at the moment
make sure the render depth is set properly
