Yes, I tried both of those methods as well. Of the two, I think the grunge filter works better. In terms of features, adding a "blur" slider to the grunge filter would open up a lot of new possibilities! Something to consider in the next update.
Great video! I'd like to see more on how to use Optics to improve photographic quality and minor effects to introduce subtle moods. Optics has many sliders that no other photo editing software has, I really liked your explanation on the sliders. Those of use that only have experience editing stills have no idea what the sliders do.
Great use of Optics! we've also used the Nightsky and the Grunge filters to add snow. Loving the example of the Clouds.
