I'm sorry about the job, hope you find a place in a cool gallery or cultural institution in the new year. Props to Dean for all his hard work with the studio. The bathroom looks incredible, i'm in love with the red tile.
I get really dry lips because I'm allergic to London tap water (great). Highly recommend Lansinoh nipple cream as a lip balm. It's meant to be for breastfeeding women and cracked nips so it's pure lanolin and it's so intensively moisturising
so many house updates! love the red bathroom tiles! i think last i saw in the vlog was Dean mapping out the studio space with random things in the garden. and the sofa looks so comfy and really suits the room! also loved that the vlog was so long,

Dealing with eczema, I think your best bet is to make sure it’s super moisturized and then using a salve like Vaseline to lock in that moisture and create a barrier from getting it wet which could irritate the rash.

I had similar tv dilemma in my Victorian semi. The tv stand was too wide for the alcove and took up a whole corner at an angle. In the end, I had traditional alcove units built in with cupboards at the bottom and full frame bookcases at the top. As the tv was still a tiny bit wider than the alcove, I put it on a moveable angled tv bracket in the alcove and it sits a little outside the frame but it looks so much better. Your tv may be still too wide for the gap so you may need to downsize it but it might fit.
This is exactly what we did with ours - our house is 1930s and exactly the same layout as Brittany’s

For the past few months my top lip would get super rough and scaly on one side, be slightly itchy, and persist for weeks at a time. At first I thought maybe I was still getting used to LA's dry climate having recently moved here. Finally went to a dermatologist and she suspected that my lips were reacting to my lip balm (glossier). I've been using glossier for YEARS and she said my lips likely became sensitive to some of the ingredients. She had me switch to aquaphor and use a steroid cream as needed and finally a few weeks later the dry patch has gone away!
Have you considered extending the wooden library along the living room wall, on both sides of the fireplace, as if it were a single large piece of furniture running the entire length of the wall? And incorporating the TV on the living room side?

Hi Brittany. I’m wearing Invisalign too. I’m quite a bit older than you and I was told 18months to improve my bite. It’s worse if you have to wear rubber bands at night. They hook round little metal pegs attached to your teeth. But the metal pegs dig into your cheek so it soft wax and bonjela! I hope it’s going to be worth it. Your house is looking wonderful and unique. I might have put a bit of polished slate under the fire. Looking forward to your next vlog.x

I recommend Eucerin Acute Lip Balm - I have a similar weird eczema film that appears on my top lip until it becomes so dry and painful and cracks, and this is the only thing I've found that solves it. Hope that helps you/anyone else looking in the comments for recommendations! x
Love this video! The new sofa looks much more comfortable! The style of the Hay sofa is sort of everywhere. They look great on Instagram but honestly they are not good for the backs if you are lounging. I would say the same about the roly poly chair having owned one for a few months. It may work for some people but I would generally avoid low back low seat height sitting in general.

Yes ! another long vlog !! Dean is a keeper and the sofa looks awesome. And I totally understand the relief having a mirror in the bathroom and a cosy sofa. Loved to see the Chloé shooting - you looked really cold ! The weather has been pretty much the same where I live - in Brittany (yep) in France with 3 ocean storms. Now, it's getting pretty warm but rainy again (15°c) - For your dry lips, in France we all use the same miracle cream (a repair balm) : Cicalfate by Avene, la Roche Posay does it too. I just put it at night, and the next morning, I've got a normal lip again. It's great especially in winter. And, another tip for non French-speakers : Soeur and coeur (sister and heart) are pronounced the same way as Sir or fir in English (with of course a firmer "R" at the end)
