Tracey, I am in love with all of the dragons and that egg.. oh my word!!! I have to admit hearing Fudge's little squeaks just filled me with joy!!! I will need to get all of these molds. Thank you so much for giving us different ways of doing them. Younteuly are an inspiration ❤
Omg i just love dragons my husband and use to buy one every time there a birthdays or Christmas you name the occasion a we would have a new one. That is something I really miss now he gone so to see this will be a really nice treat thank you and God bless
Those dragons are just wonderful. They would be so cool with glass eyes stuck in them with UV resin before they are filled with epoxy. I think it would make them look epic. You could use Let's Resin pens to paint them when you de-mold them. Or just color them with glitter/glue, resin dye,or mica. Because with the eyes already attached you could color it any way and still see them.
Oh my goodness!! These are beautiful! I'm known as the "dragon lady" at our neighborhood craft market. I've pretty much sold everything dragon that I've ever made. I think I need to get these.
Tracy, that egg is stunningly beautiful! I'd love to try putting a tiny hinge of the back of it, and popping a tiny dragon into it! Thanks for another great video.
While you were brushing the mold with that ethreal powder, the colors were shining awesomely 😍😍 15:51 .All the chameleon powders and flakes are too beautiful, Ms Tracey.Love all these amazing dragons 🐉, their color shift is awesome 💜💜.The egg jar also looks magnificent 😍😍.All the molds are very nice 😍😍😍
Absolutely beautiful! I did the dragons today. When I saw your video I had to watch it to see how you did them. I also do the dragon eggs, but I don't paint the crystal part of the egg with mica. I do the eggs in chameleon powder and then brush black mica powder over the top of the chameleon powder so that I can pour the entire thing in clear resin. That way I have clear crystals around the bottom of the egg.
Good choice! I didn't use regular mica on any of this either, it was Ethereal Powder. on the crystals. I could have poured clear so they would be clear and sparkle. Also I was tempted to use Chameleon on the crystals too, clear would have worked for the whole thing then, but people wanted to see the Chameleon Flakes, Chameleon Powders and Ethereal Powders in action so it was a way to cover all 3. I might do them with Mica Powders sometime but it was Chameleon and Ethereal pigments from Tiny Turner I was testing this time, and that brand doesn't do regular Mica powders
Beautiful vibrant colours. I was having trouble with my wrist stirring resin so I now have the same mixer you have. Haven’t used it yet but looking forward to it
Most vibrant and colour shifty colours i've found so far. The stirrer - I'll report back on it when I have used it a bit more but so far I think it's good, cleaning isn;t as much of a pain as I thought it would be either. I'm just not finding I'm using it that much because the resin I use mixes and degasses so easily - but then I don;t have issues with my wrists thankfully. for anyone who does it's probably a good solution
WOW, these are all gorgeous and I especially love the egg, the colour is stunning. I’ll have to get some of those moulds. Thank you. I also know I’m going to be much messier than you when I do this lol. It will be literally everywhere, I can just see it now.
Great tutorial thanks Tracey. I just received these molds & painted them with Wendy’s colors. Just wanted to watch you for any tips before I pour the resin. Cant wait now I’ve seen how yours turned out.
@@miniscenesgb absolutely, I think a little soapy water would benefit you during demold with them though spraying a little into the mold on intricate molds like that helps a lot when demolding but other then looking difficult to demold they look fabulous! How tall are they? 3-4"??
This is the one I have mainly been waiting for but I was doing the list in order (still got more to go through lol ). Tracey you have done an awesome job with these molds they look super stunning 🤩😍.... Love love love 💜. I have the bigger egg one but when I look into the mold it does not look oval because the Crystal part of the mold gets in the way 🤨 Going to give it a try and see what happens as I have waited nearly 3 weeks for the mold. Love your dragon in the pond 🥰
Oh so cute! I have the same molds but haven’t tried them yet! Was wondering how you flipped the mold inside out burnished the powder then turning the mold outside right without messing it up. I guess just more practice with the way you did it. Thanks for the idea. They all came out adorable!
I am slowly working my way through your videos 😊 I've seen a video using alcohol to paint mica powder onto moulds, but not sure if that's better than burnishing? Dragons are my absolute favourite, fell in love with them reading the Dragonlance chronicles. I collected the pewter ones for years, sold them when I was really skint 😢 I want to make resin ones now 😜
I have a mesh that I purchased from tesco for a £1. It is made for putting on trays to stop cups slipping and ornaments to stop them moving around. If I had an address or PO Box I would send it to you because I think it would definitely cure the paper cup problem. I have that mixer myself so I'll try it out for you to see if it will work. Unless you have a Tesco close by they usually have this item in everything a pound or slightly over.
This is just the trailer for a 45 minute video that premieres on Saturday at 9pm UK time, as per all the information shown on screen. it was 2 days of filming the how to, and the final video is 45 mins of making 9 dragons and the egg :) if you click the notify me on screen it will remind you when the film goes live

I think the flakes are the best! And OMG I flipping LOVE the egg!! 🐉
I was sooooo pleased with the egg :)
Just a tip, squeeze each of the back spikes. There's usually a bubble in there.
Yes, I did the ears, kinda forgot the spikes :) Very good point :)
The colours are amazing, and I love the moulds! You can never have too many dragons ❤
So true!

Yes pens or pain work. I can’t find glass eyes the right size or shape so I tend to use Resin Edging Pens
Looking forward to watching Tracey 👍🤩
Hope you like it!

about 6 inches I think. Yeh I sometimes demould actually under water in a bowl of wanm soapy water, it definitely helps

Yeh practice, and as you use the moulds you work out better what each area is when it's flipped back. I need more practice with these ones
love your sunset guppies and the red tailed shark :) never drink and amazon /ebey its lethal !
Adorable aren't they :) I keep finding baby guppies in the filter :)

either works, depends on what you are making :) Try both and see which works best for you
Very nice.
