    After 10 years on CPAP, (F&P ICON PRIMO, with Simplus F/F mask and a Resmed Quatro head strap), I bought a new machine yesterday.
    I bought the iBreeze Auto 20A Pro. It was a bad first sleep attempt. Every time I exhaled, I could feel my breathing and the machine pressure change. It was so disconcerting and uncomfortable that I just couldn't sleep. I got to the point I wanted to give up and cry. After watching this video, I now know why. Hopefully I can figure out how to turn the exhalation thingy off so I can sleep a little easier.
    Severe sleep apnoea combined with insomnia, chronic pain and a new strange machine doing weird things was just a little too much. Thanks for the video.

    Thanks for explaing that for me.
    I have a question about my Luna 3b. Here recently it will just randomly shut off during the night. Last night it shut off and I woke up to the machine beeping...
    Before I could get my glasses on it quit and would not restart unless I unplugged it from the back of the machine .
    Any idea what's going on? Have you heard of anybody else having this issue??

      When it is beeping did you see a message on the screen.

      No sir,
      it doesn't light up and the display stays dark. It did it this morning at about 3:00am.
      Guess I'll have to call my respiratory specialist & get them to send me a new machine...

    Doesn't a CPAP with EPR effectively make a CPAP into a Bilevel? The difference being that a Bilevel has an adjustable level for EPR. I have been having a very tough time acclimating to PAP, I noticed that React sells "Luna G3 Bilevel ST 30Vt" with a volume setting. Is that something you could discuss?

    • @CPAPmyway
      @CPAPmyway  Год назад

      You have to reach a difference of 4cm to be a bipap. That is why the EPR only goes to 3.

    • @jaystannard
      @jaystannard Год назад

      @@CPAPmyway Do you know if that has a medical basis? Or is it just something where the FDA regulated it that way.

    • @CPAPmyway
      @CPAPmyway  Год назад

      @@jaystannard I think that it has a few reasons behind it, but you do have to draw a line somewhere between the therapies. So 4cm is where it is. Bipaps can be used for ventilatory support for COPD and sometimes the pressure support can be pretty large.

      @@CPAPmywaywhat's important is that resmed toes the line to make sure they don't miss out on charging more for bpaps.
