    I have my own form which is similar to yours. Thank you so much. I have enjoyed your videos. They are very informative. I believe that standardization for handoff is extremely important.

    Yeah i’m not new nurse i’m an IR nurse but i’m definitely struggling to keep up with the fast pace. I can get a call that OR so so is coming and 2 mins later they roll through the door.

      Yes, the pace today is much faster than in the past, where nurses would go to retire now days you need your roller skates 🛼 on! 😂

    Can you explain more about what the hemostasis time is? I’m not familiar with this. Thank you. 😊

      Hi Jenny, simply put its how long after removing a line with either manual pressure or a closure device that you have no bleeding, Thus you have reached hemostasis. Via manual pressure can take 5-10 minutes or longer dependent on many factors.

    Thank you Thank you Thank You!!!! Im 3 weeks in and currently struggling. Although im a seansoned RN, PACU is new and im very interested in furthering my nursing career in this area. If you have any advice, my issue thus far is speed. I have 1.5 yrs of ICU experience and I found myself getting flustered and overwhelmed with 2 patients, Ive had 3 preceptors the first week and im viewed upon as incompetent. Any advice?!
