Anyone else unironically looking forward to Ananta? (Formerly Project Mugen) because I sure as shit am. It’s got a lot of stuff I really like. It could be ass, it could be cool, but whatever the case, thank you all for 2k subs! Shu Gang keeps getting bigger and bigger !
Where winds meet it also had great looking trailers but the gameplay is nowhere near that. The game itself is not bad, but many people may be disappointed with Ananta because it has a similar pattern of action to that game. At the beginning we only got trailers and then offline tests.
I am really looking forward to Ananta... but the only thing I am worried about is the enemy density. Where are they gonna fit the enemies if the city is actually populated? Just confused that's all.
If I'm being fully honest, i do not trust netease one bit, they always ahut down their games, they always copy other games for their own gain, they barely come up wtih original ideas, and whenever they see a game with more profit they always shit down the older games just like they did with smc I do not have a single drop of faith for these mfs, they'll eventually fuck it up one way or another
Bruh onmyoji arena still exist this day, as well Identity V, they're old as fk before Covid exist They also have Naraka:BladePoint as most played game on PC and currently Collab with The Witcher and was with other big title like Nier They may have bad side, but if game success, it will survive for long time And looking how ambitious is Ananta doing Ads on their game (literally almost all News and platform game put Ananta there) it probably most keeped game for them This is also first Gacha game that funded by Netease (Yes, Naked Rain is Developer)
I really wish somebody would make a game like this without all the gacha and mobile game mechanics. Just a buy to play offline singleplayer game. No real money ingame shop, no online accounts, no fomo, no daily quests or other live service crap. Just a big anime world to explore with a good combat system and a story I can progress at my own pace. Maybe optional co-op, but inviting friends into my local game, nothing server based.
Ngl, there will be lots of complaints in the Gacha community if that happens. Many people prefer free games and if you have to pay to play an anime game then they arent going to buy it.
@@havonoVT Name one that is completely offline without all the crappy mobile game mechanics in them! And I won't let any count that are only available in Japan.
@@skyknight0408 oh, I meant games with big anime worlds and fully single-player in general. as for an offline version of a gacha game, there's Mega Man X Dive.
@@SmackSanRB thank you bro, also I see you hitting almost 1000 plus if you haven’t already, your videos have been INSANELY popping off and good. I STILL think you deserve all my subs 😂😂😂
Still comes down to the gameplay loop. Still to date only ToF got this right or even close. If the game is an action RPG/open world game then it can be amazing, but if it's a gacha game set in an open world for no good reason it will just be another part of a dying daily cycle or wasted development time.
@@FullchanAnon It's terrible. They fumbled everything else so hard that no one noticed what they did well. Seems like they aren't even copying their own good ideas in NTE... 🤣
I'm cautiously optimistic about Ananta. Fact is rn, we got a trailer that's mostly cinematics than actual gameplay, there's not much to go off of. I am interested in both Ananta and NTE because the city look feels really lived in, the open worlds in many games have so many open fields filled with nothing. They probs won't beat Spiderman's but it's hell of a lot less bland. Wuwa's world (so far) feels like it's missing a lot, I walk around jinzhou and wonder how these people live here (i feel like the change in direction caused this issue lol). However, both got some issues for me. The studios have problems, one more than the other. We dunno story at all. None of the designs really wow me, and it will be hard to give up wuwa's gameplay if they don't have the polish. I loved NTE's enemy designs and the dark world, and as far as I could tell the mc always had speaking lines. Meanwhile Ananta just looks like the better game but I hope the story and gameplay will come through. If Ananta can make a good mc, good world, good story, and some entertaining combat I'll drop wuwa
I need to see more gameplay and stuff. People calling it wuwa killer and nte killer. Idk just by one official trailer? Keeping my expectations low but it looks promising.
nothing but nte killer makes sense. NTE and Ananta are wuite literally brothers in this scenario and comparing it yo anything else is just complete brainrot then again both games arent even officially out yet so people are (゜゜)
Apparently Hoyo is working on 5 games at once, one being an urban open-world game in the same vein as Ananta. I hope the two compete, because then it's the players who win. About Ananta, I am curious, it looks interesting but there's a lot of mechanics and animations that straight up feel lifted from other games, and that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Let's see if the game can bring more original qualities as well

I don't really know what to think about Ananta. I have almost no experience with big cities. I've played like 2 minutes of GTA V. The closest i've gotten to knowing what spiderman swinging is like, is the grappling hook from halo infinite. I live in a smaller town, and i've only ever passed through a big city (Vegas) once while on a family trip. That means, i genuinely do not understand the whole city game thing. I also don't care enough about gacha in general to search out different games; i stick to the few gachas i like, and essentially ignore everything else. I didn't even know Ananta existed before this video. Since i still don't know a lot about gacha, i feel it's better to be cautious about the games coming out. Which i guess isn't exactly specific to gacha, lots of other games also suck when they get released, gotta love modern gaming. If the game doesn't have a decent beginning, there's a good chance i just won't play it. ZZZ didn't start out strong imo, and as such i quit playing within 3 days, and haven't looked back. Genshin is... well, Genshin, so it definitely didn't keep me intrigued enough to stay. Although, i will say that, because of Ananta's setting, and my lack of experience in said setting, i might be more lenient with it. All that being said, the footage shown does make the game look quite fun. Despite my lack of trust in any dev ever releasing a somewhat finished product, i still feel somewhat optimistic about it. Maybe that's just because i haven't experienced the game outside of this video, and this video has an optimistic outlook for the game. I hope it's a good game. but let's be real, its a game with hot anime women, of course i'll bite
