Arknights lore is incredibly vast. They've been putting out a new chapter or story every two months for over five years. Gonna add more context of the connection between Arknights OG and Endfield. So this is clearly a spoiler Arknights MC, the doctor is actually a person who came from the civilization that exists 13.000 years before the current Arknights Civilization/timeline. This previous civilization often to be called by the community as "Precursor". The precursor is an advanced civilization that capable to travel between planets and galaxies. Although they're being portrayed as an advanced civilization, they are actually at the edge of extinction. This caused by an "unknown threat" from the space which hasn't much been told by the game but often to be mentioned. The community usually call this threat as "The Observers". The precursor are so desperate, they have tried many things to fight against the threat, they did many projects to prevent it by creating super weapons, massive dome, creating creatures to terra form a planet, etc in order to thrive. Some of them settle in planet Terra which is the Arknights planet, they created a huge dome that basically shrouded the whole planet to "hide" from the threat. Because of the threat, the remaining people of precursor including the doctor also created a cryo pod which used by them to cryosleep in order to evade them and also to maintain their projects. The doctor created a project called "Orgininium Project" which is the rock that often mentioned in Arknights OG and Endfield itself. After went sleep for around 13.000 years, the doctor woke up for some reason and unknowingly there was born a civilization that came from the planet. The doctor roams to the civilization and found a fact that the Project that they planned to prevent the "threat" became the source of suffers in the planet, the originium created a sickness called "oripathy" wich often to be told in the Arknights plot. In short, for some reason the doctor became amnesia and woken up by amiya. This is the Arknights plot the the first time it's released, which is known as amnesiac doctor/mc. Because of their amnesia, the doctor decided themselves that their goal is to cure the oripathy wich is the synopsis of Arknights. Although it causes the suffering of oripathy, the is originium also used by current civilization as a precious mineral for source of energy. In fact originium is the backbone of technologies in Terra/current civilization. Time skip for the event called lone trail, which is so important. In the event there's a character that tried to breach the "dome" that made by the precursor. This is an advancement for this civilization because of this they started to unveil the secret of the world, the secret of their civilization. At this point the doctor haven't retrieve their memories yet, but they met with their old colleagues as an AI. From the next event also told that the planet tries to unite to fight a communal threat for them (it's different from the Observer thrrat that caused their extinction, but the thing is Terra is no safe place there are many things that can cause their annihilation. Like a demon from the north, creatures with hive mind from the sea, and also the originium itself). They also found a portal from the northest part of Terra which will be used to teleport Terran citizens into Tallos-II (which haven't been told yet how they did this by the game). Basically those are the knowledge from AK OG. There are still a lot of missing points of how those two games are connected, but welp arknights is still ongoing Go to Endfield. Our MC, Endministrator most likely has direct relationship with the doctor, because the doctor goal was to keep current civilization survive and thrive and also the Endminds. Although we don't know what exactly their relation are and we still don't know what the doctor roles to Endfield. But the thing is both doctor and endmin using the cryopod that used by the precursor. Endfield story seems will tell about how current civilization thive and survive, by trying to colonize Tallos-II. They did this seems because Terra has became harsher to live on and even I think the story will goes to fight against the threat that caused extinction of precursor. They created colonies, use the originium, and precursor technologies for the advancement of their civilization. This is actually portrayed by the concept of the game which is developing complex industries with the originium by the base building mechanic. That's it. Takin notes that don't take my explanation as a whole truth, because my explanation may have some misinterpretation and missing in detail. I did this to keep the excitement, because I think it's better to find it out urself. Also I have an advice. If u want to keep up with the story, just take it slowly, because how enormous the contents are to be digest and by how convoluted the story is being presented. But when u grasped the outline of the story, I think it will worth it because it's great world building. Also I suggest u to read the summary from reddit, Facebook or anything else but still take it with grain of salt, because some of them can be misleading. Lastly Welcome back Commander/Rover/Doctor/Endministrator. This ARK is our home, and we will SET SAIL on this harsh land of Tallos-II to pursue our HOPE. OVER THE FRONTLINE
@@RegashuDBalso I want to apologize if the story/my explanation may sounds like nonsense, I think it's because how complicated the actual story is and I can't summarize it into some paragraph 😓
@@RegashuDB if so I think you will love the actual lore more. Cuz my summary ain't so accurate, just an outline for the story. There's deep reasons behind the things I explained, also more characters are also involved. U will experience pain, dilemma, doubt, angst, grief, and more emotion if u know the full context. I'll just want to say gl because u will read a lot (and cry a lot if u read enough) 😂
Theres a video called "the only Arknights lore video you need" and its one of the more polished and updated lore explanations of the world and races ruclips.net/video/Z2LLPTJPWkg/видео.htmlsi=O9sY1cW-utifmh13
I’ve learned to not be excited for gatcha games in general. They’ll never be as good as other games but hey I’m glad you’re looking forward to it. Hopefully it’s as good as you hope it’ll be.
You want more, Regashu? Alright, I'll take 15 minutes to put something together since you're passionate to learn more. *ahem* You might have noticed the yellow & gray coloration that's common to Endfield's UI and promotional material. It isn't just a stylistic choice, as Endfield Industries explicitly uses it as their corporate colors in-game. The Endministrator embodies this style of design. Arknights has long been known for its fashion drip, too. Their outfits actually make sense to wear, as they start with a shirt and pants/skirt. Only then do they add on outerwear, belts, accessories, and the ever-present lanyard to make them more identifiable as gacha characters. The only big difference between Arknights and Endfield design-wise, is the lack of a homogeneous "corporate" look in Endfield. In Arknights, many Operators who were full employees of Rhodes Island (the player-aligned faction) wore black coats with blue lining and lengths of multicolor fabric with the name "Rhodes Island" emblazoned upon them. This design mostly featured on NPC's in Arknights, but there were a decent number of Operators who wore this look too, including the arguable protagonist of Arknights, Amiya (yes, even though The Doctor is the point-of-view character, arguably you aren't the protagonist). All that said, it's quite likely once we actually get into Endfield, we will find many of the NPC's employed by Endfield choose to wear the Endfield colors. Perlica, the white-haired catgirl, notably does not have this style despite being our direct assistant. I think this was a deliberate decision as Endfield is a 3D game, and they wanted to avoid making her resemble the female Endministrator too closely. As a personal fan of the "Rhodes Island" look, I hope we *do* see some playable Endfield characters who have the yellow/gray color scheme later on. My personal favorite Arknights character, GreyThroat, took the Rhodes Island look and made it her own. As a final note that's a bit separate from everything else. A lot of the architecture in the farming region is directly styled after the Terran nation of Yan. They possess the most advanced agriculture on Terra, a direct cultural parallel to China. Likely, many of those farmers we saw came directly to Talos-II and brought both their agricultural technology and aptitude. I'll let others talk about the races of Arknights, as while there's a lot I could say about them, I wanted to focus on the design elements that grabbed my own interest.
I read that lore comment you put in the video, and there's a few things I want to add regarding some of the most recent lore drops we've gotten (yes, spoilers). In the Babel event story nodes BB-6 After and BB-7 Before, we learn that Talos-II was the home planet of The Doctor, the MC of Arknights. Talos-II invented Originium in order to assimilate all life into one massive sea of information, because they were convinced that it was the only way for life to continue living in any form at all. We also get to see a memory of Originium completely covering a landscape, which is assumably Talos-II, from The Doctor's perspective. We also learn that Originium was planted onto Terra, the world of Arknights, by Talos-II, and that the originium caused Terra's life to evolve into a form exactly like them. This is doubled down on in a video we got recently covering the lore of the Beast Lords, where we learn that, before originuim was plated on Terra, its life was not yet intelligent, and originium caused the animals to evolve and become "humans" as we see in the game. Going into more theory territory, I think that Endfield will be a prequel rater than a sequel, especially because while we do see imagry related to Originium, Originium itself is literally never mentioned, and Talos-II doesn't seem very destroyed. I think it takes place long, long before even the events seen in Babel, before the concept of Originium even existed. Going into full crackhead mode, I think the end of Endfield's story will involve the beginning of the Originium Project, and the full knowledge that while the characters see a new hope for life, we know that their destruction, and the destruction of everything that we worked for, is inevitable. I hope reading this was enjoyable, one of Arknights' biggest flaws is that, while its stories and lore are amazing, it's storytelling is godawful, and 99% of the playerbase skips the story because it can often be genuinely difficult to push through and read it. If you though I wen't on too long, you would rip your head off trying to tead the Babel event that this lore is in 💀
endfield is not a prequel. if you watched the intro sequence for the technical test of Endfield. they straight up namedrop the fact that the people of terra found the Gateway to Talos-II, this is further reinforced by the events of the latest IS event (I think its IS4). so there's no way its a prequel. for example. Rhodes Island ALREADY exist in this game as a faction. heck. this was even confirmed in the first test for the game. no way rhodes can exist pre babel. rhodes as a concept happened after the fall of babel. so this one fact is easy enough to disprove the prequel theory. there's more evidence to disprove it is a prequel. but the most easiest one is as i said. the confirmation that Rhode island exist as a faction. which itself cannot exist pre babel as the concept itself is post Babel.
@stephenchau8800 I wasn't aware of that, thanks for the correction. I guess that memory we saw was not Talos-II then, or it simply never happened. Otherwise, there's absolutely no way Terra would be able to set foot on it without just dying. It was definitely a bit of a reach of an assumption.
This game kinda convince me to quit my wuwa journey ngl cuz arkknights endfield makes me feel like i actually contribute to the world and not just go to this region do quest and f off to the next region and tbh i think endfields world and character design looks better definitley my new next gen gacha game

@@xenthosmamentos1496 damn thats nice, but what about natural resource placements across the map? are they all in the same spots for all players or is there some randomness to them?
@@Crystall_21 It's same for all players in the previous test, but the player can decide how they manage to get the resources like typical factory games. Also seems like each region will have it's own unique resources

(Go look up an image or 3 its insane)) God i could talk about AK lore for hours but its easier to have a subject to talk about. @DannyJ3636 before it really was just parodying genshin in a lazy "copy my homework" way with character swaps and sone elemental interaction system, except everyone were just standing on the field at once and autoattacking. From what I see now its more of a Mass Effect / newer final fantasy kinda combat with team follow-up skill comboing or something? One part that annoyed me the most from the old combat is unavoidable enemy autoattacks they used aside from red zone kind of skills, that just constantly gave you cheap damage, so I wonder if the reworks touched the enemies too.
I just hope they don't have equipments that heavily rely on rng like the relics from genshin. Since that is one of the reasons that made me love arknights the only rng I have to worry about is the gacha. If Enfield do have one i hope they make it less rng dependent
Thx God they didn't call it a killer. The Game awards served them as lesson. WuWa, NTE, ANANTA, Arknight Endf. are safe now. ( No game is better than another, they just improving themselve) 😂😂😂 Welcome back Arknight E!!! 🫡

There are still a lot of missing points of how those two games are connected, but welp arknights is still ongoing
Go to Endfield.
Lastly
Welcome back Commander/Rover/Doctor/Endministrator.
This ARK is our home, and we will SET SAIL on this harsh land of Tallos-II to pursue our HOPE.

@@yearslate9349 let’s hope we get a fan service Rhodes island skin for the MC in the RI colors from original AK my brother in lore 🙏🏽💯🔥

@@ariqerr4472 GOD NO 😭😭😭
I read that lore comment you put in the video, and there's a few things I want to add regarding some of the most recent lore drops we've gotten (yes, spoilers).
If you though I wen't on too long, you would rip your head off trying to tead the Babel event that this lore is in 💀
@@Silver-tb7hf DAMN DONT WE JUST LOVE LONG WINDED CONVOLUTED STORIES THAT BECOMES PEAK IF UR SCHIZO ENOUGH 💀
reminds me of Fromsoft lore LMAOOOOO
endfield is not a prequel. if you watched the intro sequence for the technical test of Endfield. they straight up namedrop the fact that the people of terra found the Gateway to Talos-II, this is further reinforced by the events of the latest IS event (I think its IS4). so there's no way its a prequel. for example.
This game kinda convince me to quit my wuwa journey ngl cuz arkknights endfield makes me feel like i actually contribute to the world and not just go to this region do quest and f off to the next region and tbh i think endfields world and character design looks better definitley my new next gen gacha game
man i hope the construction and factory stuff isnt scripted so everyone has a different map with their own creations and i hope it has some depth and complexity. But its a gacha after all 😭
Actually it is, each player can have their own setup on their worlds depends on how the players digging into it.

Did they fix the combat though? Because in demos before it was a really piss poor snoozefest that really needed reworks and polish.
it looks polished and more now but this isnt wuwa, zenlesss, honkai or pgr because theyre not going for that route
