I thought coming to US would provide me valuable lessons and I got lucky when I got my Dv and I was already in a different country with my masters degree with me. I came to America with a lot of positive thoughts but once I came here it’s just crazy how unsafe it’s out here. I felt like there is no social life. Money is not a problem, if u work and do good financially there is no problem here in America. But I thought the health care the people is pretty fUcked up. I am going back after a year now. Life in here is so insecure and the quality of life is not what it seems to be to be fair and it’s my personal point of view. Everyone has a different opinion and I respect people who want to stay here. Nepal is nepal jasto feel huncha achel I am happy that finally I am leaving US. I am giving up my green card and I am so happy that I chose to go back

I am now living here in USA, back when I was in Kathmandu, people used to mock me saying, why are you here, why don't you go to your own country in Bihar or UP where my ancestors came from. Now those who told me most of them are in abroad, working and maintaining their life. I just want to laugh at nepalese, now they are just having an excuse to leave Nepal.

Infact it's not the fault of government at all. It's the fault of we Nepalese.. People. People move to another country and then accuse the government of various things. However, we must first understand the logic of democracy. Democracy is more than just choosing the right person to be the country's leader through popular vote. It also means that if the gov. Of country are not doing well. We are supposed to protest in unity Rather than accusing the government in all aspects. It's also our fault. There is no unity, harmony, or cooperation among the people. There are many problems existing in Nepal. However, foolish people simply select leaders and do not speak out against them. So, whose fault is this? Is this a gov. Fault?? If there is injustice, we must speak out against it in unity. Without trying, we are simply moving to another country.....And Neither the government nor your family is affected by it.

If you plan to invest in Nepal, be mindful of these challenges and prepare thoroughly before committing your hard-earned money.

Being stable is important which is achieved by knowledge, Education, Experience and Health. It is not bad to go abroad but not coming back to Nepal is a loss to Nepal which the youth should realize.They should come to Nepal with the technologies and knowhow and bring international clients to Nepal for growth.

It is people who make the country, it is us, people. Earlier Nepal was stable under king's rule, then why was it poor. Simly don't blame other's for your fault and laziness. Yes it would have helped if government would have been stable., people should also take responsibility and accountability. Eg. Are Vietnam, Singapore

Hi saw your video, quite good, most of them thinking of returning back that's actually heartening to see, I am not sure how many of them will actually return to Nepal, maybe some of them that is more than enough, it's a small beautiful country. Saw couple of girls trying to change their accent and speaking I mean their efforts in sounding American, let them be there, they're good for nothing , there's a phrase " TOXIC WIVES" they fit in this category. I am also coming back, in transition of my work. Keep it up

We had common reasons(after dad's 1n 1/2 years) to leave Nepal...it really feels different when you're abroad unwillingly with such reason.

It's my opinion only. That every students needs to learn some skills there and after get master in that skills and his own market of realted field of that particular skills. Then only he should came back to Nepal . If you really wanna survive in Nepal you need to work for international company's via online jobs and work for international client . So that only way to enjoy and make balance life in Nepal . 🙂

Hello friends in US, I checked few comments and learnt that the majority of the students seem to be very innocent, younger, gullible, lovely , playful, susceptible to the culmination of the Gen Z , confused about the future and prone to the failed American Dream.
By the time they realize there is no control of Nepalese to the nation Nepal, it might be their time to come back to Nepal. I anticipate 1.5 crore people are living abroad. Majority of them live in different part of India: maybe around 80 lakhs.
When there are no people or very few “villagers” in a nation, it could be controlled by any powerful plutocrat living in any part of the world easily. There are multiple ways of governing a country by various means. And the same thing is happening here. You young minds are not enough matured to understand the power play and its aftermath just now.
I can’t write my all viewpoint in this comment section. I hope you do understand “all” from “a” of my views here !

@@TheNepaliAmerican So far yes. I mean there are things that you miss for sure and there are things that you're annoyed by here in Nepal especially the traffic. It was tough for a month or two but you slowly get used to it.
i have a daughter now and i probably would have had a hard time raising a kid in the US. In my opinion it's easier here to raise a family. Having people around is a big plus point. i get more time to spend with my daughter. That's where i'm coming from. Would love to go back for a visit someday though.

After staying 5 years in US I returned back to Nepal, yes for earning and opportunities it’s good to be in US than in Nepal in many ways . I was not a citizen of US but I have seen lots of people who are immigrants and Who became US Citizen, now those people can neither be proud of their native country or whichever country they immigrated from nor they are proud American. After returning back, I am unemployed now. But money, fame, education is worthless in terms of national pride, and no matter what their is difference of looking towards immigrants either they have US citizenship or not, their are American who don’t like immigrants and think that their country is becoming worst due to immigrants .Just an example American celebrities proudly the 4th of July and thanksgiving but most immigrants who became US citizen don’t celebrate, can you see the difference…
