I give Sheila, Disner and Spielman all the credit in the world to have hired MCDC AND Brad Holmes seperate and they literally go together perfect. This is the best GM and best Coaching staff we’ve ever had and that’s why Lions fans are finally so excited for this year and the future of this team. I love these Dudes. Yeessss!.. yeah I thought this a while ago but I feel like they don't get enough flowers for setting this all up to even be able to hire Brad Holmes and even Dan Campbell in the first place..
Remember when everybody was bashing S.O.L for doing it that way? I'll be honest, I didn't know much about them, Holme's and D.C, but when I first heard them speak, i had a good feeling. They both sounded excited, motivated, and genuine.
The more I hear Brad Holmes speak the more I am conviced he is a football savant. His understanding of character and psychology is truley impressive! About to build a DYNASTY IN DETROIT!!!

How can you not like the leadership of the Lions? For the first time in my life (and I have followed the Lions for over 40 years) I have hope that this team may be a contender and win games. There is work to do yet but also some things to be excited about too.
That was a great interview. I didn't know much about Holmes, other then he is the first GM in my lifetime (55) that I can say I trust completely. He is building this team like a true craftsman. He and Campbell seem to be in sync. I can't wait for this season and I really can't wait for the next two or three once we can get some depth that we need desperately.

If this crew actually turns the Lions into a winner it will be one of the greatest turnarounds in sports history. The Lions have been fully and entirely inept since the 50s save for a couple years in the 90s when the greatest RB to ever play fell into our lap. #OnePride In 3 seasons this man turned this team around big time. He had big help getting a 1st overall , playoff winning QB with 2 first round picks and a 3rd. However, he has not missed on many picks at all in any round. He gets value out of draft.
What's truly amazing is he has done all this with almost nothing to this point, from the Stafford trade. Jameson hasn't even played yet, Melinfonwu hurt, & we just took Gibbs & LaPorta. So there's a lot of that trade yet to be utilized.
My 11 year old daughter asked me if I had to choose to keep Dan Campbell or brad Holmes I had to really think. Dan is our culture, our attitude, so important. Brad is the mastermind behind building. I finally said I would keep brad. So hard of a question

If this crew actually turns the Lions into a winner it will be one of the greatest turnarounds in sports history. The Lions have been fully and entirely inept since the 50s save for a couple years in the 90s when the greatest RB to ever play fell into our lap. First time in my life it's exciting to be a Lions fan

#OnePride In 3 seasons this man turned this team around big time. He had big help getting a 1st overall , playoff winning QB with 2 first round picks and a 3rd. However, he has not missed on many picks at all in any round. He gets value out of draft.
What's truly amazing is he has done all this with almost nothing to this point, from the Stafford trade. Jameson hasn't even played yet, Melinfonwu hurt, & we just took Gibbs & LaPorta. So there's a lot of that trade yet to be utilized.
This was great. Brad is inspirational.
