I am exited for Oregon and Washington joining. I am a Oregon fan. Saddened to see what happened to the Pac12 and loosing some of the traditions. But looking forward to new ones to grow.
Uhhhh, no? I get you hate Big Ten west football because it’s “boring”, but Minnesota v. Wisconsin, Minnesota v. Iowa, and Iowa v. Wisconsin are always great rivalries. If Nebraska can get competitive again add them to the list.
Sorry everytime I see a BIG10 game that isn't Ohio State, Michigan, or Penn state there's literally no extreme plays or moments. Look at Iowa for example literally every game they play don't have touchdowns just field goals or northwestern game where they are sloppy. The biggest games are happen to be between the big 3: OSU, MU, and PSU, Nebraska hasn't been powerhouse since the 70s-90s they are mid at best. Rivalry in B10 doesnt make sense anymore nor historical value since Nebraska biggest rivals happen to be Colorado which btw isnt in the same conference and Rutgers main rivals are in the IVY league meanwhile SEC every team have beef with each other even the new ones joining for decades for examples: Oklahoma vs Texas, LSU vs Arkansas, Georgia vs Florida, Alabama vs Auburn, Ole Miss vs MSU, MSU vs Kentucky, Kentucky vs Tennessee, Tennessee vs Alabama, Arkansas vs Missouri, LSU vs Texas A&M, Texas A&M vs Texas and etc etc.... SEC has meaning between rivalry games because SEC is known to punch each other out of the race for the " fuck you" moment and bragging rights. @@BrownieCFB
They wouldn't call it that officially, but unofficially it was called the Big 10 since the first time they had 10 members. Since people were calling it that, they officially changed their name. Then, for recognition sake, they kept it. It's the same reason why the SEC isn't changing their name even though they are adding teams not in the South East.

This might be a nit pick but you forgot the sport that the Big Ten is arguably most dominate in, Wrestling.
Mostly Ohio state, Michigan, and Penn state makes up the competitive side of B10. They aren't the SEC where rivalry always goes hard...

@@BrownieCFB The Big10 is too stinky to dislike. Their an embarrassment to the country with their cheating ways.
As a Minnesota fan I don't respect your opinion in any way, shape, or form.
@@cherrycolareal just trying to guilt trip the BIG10 into doing the right thing.
