- Hey guys! I found this cool project that brings the Wii Shop Channel back to life. The project is called RiiShop, and it brings the Wii Shop Channel back to life. The project is still in development so lots of bugs were seen in the public beta version.

UPDATE: Please do not use! The service was used to dox users and such. This is now outdated and no longer in support.

Someone told me about this the night before and this made me wonder what RiiShop is! Nice video! but I'm sad that it's no longer supported.
Yeah but they shut it down for a good reason, people were being doxxed using it probably explaining why it also wanted a discord username (besides from ban records) and the rest of the team involved had no idea about this

Probably not possible yet. It's in a really early stage of development. Right now people are just hyped about being able to open the store in general and about knowing that it's going to be restored
You absolutely cannot download anything, and if you click on download you get an error because it is a very early phase
It doesn't support downloads yet.

Backstory of Rii Shop (short)
back in 2021 or 2022 dakotath learned how to redirect the shop to his urls that worked with the wsc patcher , then he worked on it for a while with wabagg in 2022 to late 2022 but then copyrights got concerned and they reset the whole project but they ended up rebuilding it and in late 2023 it opened for public beta even tho it wasn't done in 2024 it got publically recognized but people thought it was done when it was not, it was still in beta.

also, downloading did work but ONLY if you already owned the title on your wii previously and had deleted it from your wii.
They were working on downloads but got shutdown before it finished up.

RIIshop is currently very buggy don’t use it
Yeah it’s still in development I wanted to test it out a bit while it’s in public beta release.
It's currently being used by beta testers just because it's cool, it's not like you can download stuff from it *yet.*
