    Awesome video. I already know some Chinese so I was kinda reluctant about watching this video but it turns out I found out a great material and learned the measure word for "school" I've always used "个". 学到老活到老. Thank you so much for uploading this video to RUclips. :-)

      You're welcome 不客气!你说得对,“活到老学到老”。It's okay to use 个 as the measure word for 学校 in casual communication, people will understand it. It's just 所 is more like the standard one for 学校.

    I notice that "h" in "hao" and in "he" is pronounced differently. It seems to me that "he" has a little "k" in it.
    Can you please explain the difference?

      its a measure word for buildings like ge or ben (for books)

    Wo jia bu da.
    Wo de xue xiao hen hao.
    Why do you use wo de when you can just say wo ??
    When do you use Wo De in a sentence and just wo in a sentence??

      You can leave out the "de" when something is close or personal to you like family members or your own house. Or you can use the "de" all the time and make no exceptions, thats ok too.

    Why oh why should you use a very UNCLEAR COLOUR for the pinyin part? Very stressful to read for one with eyesight problem! Thanks!

      The pinyin is designed to be like that so that students can get used to not rely on pinyin and be able to read Chinese characters. Pinyin is a great tool to help students remember the pronunciation when they first learn a word, but characters are the real written format of the language. We want the Pinyin to serve like the foot note in a book, it's there if you need it, but it's not the main content.

      很 can only be used to modify adjective and stative verbs like 喜欢, 爱, 想, it cannot be used before action verbs like 谢
