I had hired an online teacher and finished book one. I had so many questions and uncertainties. It cost me a lot of monies to finish HSK 1 book with that teacher. I have just bought Andy's course, it is so good and it answered my quesitons. Do not hesitate to buy this course, it is much much much better than a life teacher whom I had. Andy, please make HSK2 too.... I will definitely buy HSK2 course too.

Andy, I really like this format.... You show the sentence, then 1st Pronunciaiton, followed by English meaning, and one more female pronunciation then follow by your pronunciation... It is a PERFECT FORMAT... The speed also perfect so that I can practice the pronunciation.

In May 2020, Chinese Testing International, the organization that administers the HSK, announced that the current HSK test and the Chinese Proficiency Standards on which it is based are both going to be reformed. So far I can only find the books and videos according to the old standard (HSK 1 with 150 words - new 500 words). Can someone help me: will there be extensions to the videos? Is there somewhere you can get books that meet the new standard?

I like how in your videos one person says the phrase and the other one says it again. Being a native English speaker it's difficult to pick up some of the tones, and it makes it easier when two different people say the same sentence. :)

Yīngguó rén is closer to Englishman
Using Yīngguó rén for both English and British will cause confusion
Lots of Scottish people who are also British don't consider themselves English, they are Sūgélán rén 苏格兰人
Having a specific word for British but not English is a nuance the Chinese language is missing
