  • See how to install a Pro Circuit exhaust pipe in this video from Partzilla.com. This exhaust system is a two-piece affair… so two part numbers. Here’s what you need:
Pro Circuit stainless steel header pipe: www.partzilla....
    Pro Circuit T-4 slip-on muffler: www.partzilla....
This is a simple upgrade and can be completed in just a few minutes. A more efficient exhaust system will allow the engine to expel exhaust gasses faster, allowing you to make more power in the cylinder. The Pro Circuit T-4 slip on also includes a removable spark arrestor for when you need it.
We’ll start by removing the one plastic piece to give us easy access to the mounting points. Then, we’ll work on getting a loose installation-- we won’t fully torque everything down until we’re sure it all lines up. The header pipe goes first, and we’ll seal the header pipe with a new exhaust pipe gasket. Get one here: www.partzilla....
With the header threaded on, we’ll slip on the midsection behind it and then the T-4 muffler. When we’re sure we’ve got everything lined up, we’ll torque everything down, starting at the header pipe and ending with the muffler mount to the rear subframe. Last but not least, we’ll connect all of the springs that hold everything together. Now you can do this with a pair of needlenose pliers, but this Motion Pro spring hook works really well: www.partzilla....
We’ll wrap up the job by reinstalling the plastics and THEN we’ll clean the pipes. If you don’t, any fingerprints you have on it will be cooked onto the pipes once they get a heat cycle.
