Jacques and Julia will always have a very warm and special place in my heart.
And the absolute best part of this particular series he gave to us is that's his real kitchen and not a stage or in a studio.
I had to pause this video several times to check out all the things he has in his kitchen at home.

I really didn't have high hopes for this dish but I had a couple of chicken thighs left over from 2 other Pepin vid's and this popped up in my feed. I used sweet potatoes so next time I’ll skip the stovetop part since sweet potatoes are soft anyway. Everything goes into the oven right away. The carmelised onions were out of this world.
