The next step in Vitani’s journey has finally been revealed. The daughter of Zira is no longer causing chaos but instead is creating order for she has formed her own Lion Guard. But what does that mean? How is this possible? And why did this occur?

There’s a rumor that Vitani is actually Nala’s child when Scar “forced her to mate”, she gave birth and knowing Simba might find out she hid her from Simba by giving her to Zira to take care of.

And I’m actually happy. With Vitani leading the lion guard, Kiara leading the pridelands as queen, and Kion being the king of the tree of life, you here have very powerful allies. While kion had may have lost something, he gained something else that was destined for HIM, while Vitani and Kiara gained the titles that were destined for THEM.
That's a very good way of seeing it. And despite Kion (and his Lion Guard) being apart from the Pridelanders, that doesn't mean that they are separated from each other. They are together in spirit and they can even travel to each other's regions very quickly as the return to the Pride Lands from the Tree of Life has shown. Perhaps Kion could roar his guard and their mates back to the Pride Lands if need be!
Mufasa knows what’s in store for each of them. Kovu and Kiara’s place is in their pride (PrideLands). Kion’s place is the Tree of Life with Rani, but Kion is always welcome at the Pride lands. Vitani’s guard belongs in the Pride Lands and Kion and Rani’s prides belong in the tree of life

Actually her original name "Shetani" means "Demon of war". It was thought to be too violent for a kids movie, so they changed it to Vitani, "I am war"

I believe this was a good way to give Vitani purpose beyond being the "demon of war" her mother raised her to be. But also showed how noble she and Kion both are. And how, had they joined forces rather than returning to the Tree of Life, would have been an even stronger Lion Guard. I personally love this ending though for all of them and I love how it ties into the aftermath of the Lion King 2
That would be very interesting if Kion's Lion Guard and Vitani's Lion Guard joined forces.
I do like that Vitani became the leader of the new lion guard, but it also made me sad that it was at the cost of the former team that everyone had grown to love. But one thing that had been going through my mind about Kion's lion guard was that they were the first team to only have one lion in the group. I think that having a lot of different animals with different skills make a good team, but I also think that Simba and the pridelanders accepting them despite what the tradition was helped them to be able to accept the outland lions back into the Pridelands as well. Not only that, but it also feels like Kion and the rest were supposed to be the Lion Guard so that it could act as training when it was time for them to join the night pride at the tree of life. Since it was a place for so many different animals living in one place, then it makes sense for there to be a team like them.

Kion is same size as Vitani and Kiara. But Kovu and Simba taller than him. Basically Kion is same size as the average lionesses I think🤔. Eventually his mane will grow in time.

She was my favorite in Lion King 2 as well, I was sad she didn't play out more in it though.
She didn't do much noteworthy at all but she looked neat as a cub and I liked her eye color.
@@tessb.lichtman4547 Good point, it had been a long time since I saw the movie. I kind of take for granted her presence since she doesn't really interact too much with the main characters, but you are right that moment was very significant.
I love Vitani as well. I was so thrilled to see something beyond Lion King 2. Vitani being intracranial to that was awesome. Lacey Chabert returning to de her voice as an Adult was awesome. I always imaged that after joining Simba's Pride Rafiki would have treated whatever throat condition that caused her raspy voice in Lion King 2. ( i Liked Jennifer Lien As Adult Vitani in Lion King 2) I just thought for Vitanis voice to go from Smooth as a cub to raspy as an adult was due to some vocal damage).
I am so so so happy that Vitani is finally given a character outside of just the lion king movies. I'm happy with this outcome.
Vitani has got great potential to be a great leader so she deserves to lead the Lion Guard. At least another door opened for Kion and his friends in the end

Aurora wings they become memebers of the Night Pride aswell. While Kion becomes King and leads beside Rani in the night pride and protects the tree of life
@@Blackcanvasart From what I've seen Queen Janna and Rani made Kion and his friend's protectors of the tree of life along with the night guard, unless that was their true destiny all along, just like it seems it was Vatani's destiny to lead the Lion Gaurd.
@@holygaia5938 After giving up the road one of the elders, Askari (first leader of lion guard) appeared and told Kion that he had truly mastered it. Then he basically told Kion he will be needed at Tree of Life and gave him and the rest of former guard symbols of Night Pride. They all decided to go and live there. Also Kion became Rani's mate and king of Tree of Life (even trough he doesn't even have a mane yet🤔) If it comes to the Roar, it's clear Vitani's got it now but I'm not sure if Kion regained it. Askari told Kion that he had mastered the Roar, then Kion asks what would he need it for if he's not in a guard anymore and Askari told him that "There's another place that could use the power of the Roar". He ment Tree of Life of course. Still during Kion's coronation him and Rani traditionally roared and there wasn't any sign of Kion's power. Up to this point every single time when Kion roared, or even growled it was The Roar. So it's kinda weird and unclear. I hope I cleared out everything for you.
Uhh, two things. One, the Guard members' names are Shabaha, Kasi, Imara, and Tazama. And two, Vitani _has_ seen the Roar. She was on the receiving end in season 1, episode 20.
EDIT: Actually, make that three things. Vitani is not Kovu's younger sister. She's either the same age as him or older, as Zira called Kovu "the last born" before Simba exiled them. I'm pretty sure she got the Roar because she's Kovu's *only* surviving sibling. Kinda like how Kion had to receive the Roar at a young age because Simba has no siblings himself.

So blood relation has nothing to do with the selection process? I gave up even starting the series after the 40min special, but have been trying to figure out how the Roar even makes sense.
@@betterlatethannever4529 It is a blood relative, I'm just pretty sure they flex on the rules quite a bit. Kion is the second-born to the future ruler, not the current one due to extenuating circumstances. And it was the same for how Vitani got the position, because the status of Kion and his Guard was unknown.
@@StormyKopaAMVs so Kion merely passed the title and not the ability that goes with it (the Roar), is that right? I thought they were supposed to be synonymous with each other, that the one with the Roar would hold the right to lead the group.

Honestly, I really enjoyed season 3 after getting bored of season 2. This turn of events was great to me and I really enjoyed the Lion Guard and cried multiple times during the season. It was a great series and had far deeper themes than it let on. It was so interesting how it ended. Vitani and the outlanders found their purpose and the previous lion guard found there's elsewhere. I loved how it ended, honestly. Just a bit iffy on the whole scar ordeal, he was just extremely annoying to me.
Hopefully we can get enough people to sign the petition so we can have a season four with the new guard

I must admit, when I saw what Vitani's role had come to be, I was actually really satified. It made great sense that she would become the new leader of the lion guard in my eyes.

I'm so proud of Vitani. I've always been a STRONG lover of TLK2 and Kovu and Vitani have always been by favorite lions from that movie. To see Vitani go from that fierce, adorable cub to leader of the Lion Guard made me so proud. She deserves it so much.
I think this is an incredibly satisfying ending to the Lion Guard series. I had mentally theorized before watching the final episode that Kion would give up the Roar and move back to the Tree of Life to rule as king alongside Rani as his queen. With Kovu as King-to-be of the Pride Lands, it only made sense that Vitani would take Kion's place as the Lion Guard's fiercest in the Pride Lands.This is just so perfect. You gotta give it up to the folks at Disney Junior for putting together such a fantastic and well done addition to the overarching story of The Lion King.

Huh. I've seen some clips of the show, but I didn't realize season 3 happens *during* the second movie, and they come back after it's over. Neat.

@@bossgames0117 cannon yet it has different backstories for scar than material released before it, also made by disney/for disney. If this was canon, they would've thought to add that 'snake poison+ evil instead of death' bs to the remake of the ORIGINAL movie.
It may only be me, but did anyone else think the challenges that Vitani's lion guard chose were kinda set up for them to lose? Hippos burn in the sun, common fact. Eagles can't see in the dark, also common knowledge. But Kion's guard chose a simple race and a crazy but fair obstacle course that both could finish easily. Vitani's guard may be reformed, but habits like forcing a victory for the team die pretty hard. It was just so... plot deviced.

I was so pissed when the vitani’s lion guard replaced Kion’s because like Simba would have known that Kion and the lion guard would return so why did he let a new lion guard form.
Anyone else wonder why it took vitani so long to figure out it was kion im pretty sure literally every member of his group called him by name atleast once not to mention she knew what kions guard looked like and while older the only differences were kions scar and angas existence
Even though my hopes for a Kion/Vitani romance have now been forever dashed. Back in 1998 I had always assumed that after the events of Lion King 2 Vitani would be given a special position in Simba's Pride. Not just because she was a former Princess of the Outlands, but in recognition (albeit in a subtle way) of the vital role she played in ending the conflict between Simba's Pride and The Outsiders. Being The Leader of her own Lion Guard is a Great position for her to have. It is one I would have never imagined. There is also the fact that in order for Vitani to do this Simba had to have signed off on it. Also seeing anything in The Lion King Universe Post Lion King 2 was a dream come true for me.
I think Vitani as the leader of the lion guard is cool. She is both the first known lioness and older sibling to lead the guard. Also she also knows first hand what the roar of the elders can do. Kion used the roar against the Outsiders in the episode lions of the outlands.
Vitani is also a second born to Zira.

I heard a rumor there might be a fourth season which i doubt but if they make a fourth i hope vitanis guard will go see kion and ask for his advice on how to lead like shes doubting herself. I love how Vitani has grown and that she found her destiny. I think that she and Kion could have worked together side by side. But Kion has a new role and I like that . Hopefully they’re might be a fourth season if not I like how the series ended
My only problem with this is that Kion, the son of Simba and the one with royal blood, should have something. I don’t think it’s right for him not to have any special place in the Pride. I love Vitani and am happy she found her calling but I don’t think Kion should loose his place because of it.
He technically upgraded he is the king of the life tree thing now way better than being a leader of a round table or anything else the pride lands had to offer

The fact that Vitani is voiced by Lacey Chabert who also voices Eliza Thornberry somebody who protects all the animals of Africa just makes this role feel so perfect

I agree with most of this video, I was happy to see Vitani find her new mission as the next leader of the Lion Guard. My only negitive was the remark about Vitani not seeing what The Roar could do. During the final face off between Kion and Vitani you said "Kion warned Vitani that she didn't stand a chance against the mystical Roar of the Elders on his side as the current leader of the Lion Guard. Since she had never seen what the Roar could do, there was no way she could be prepared for it's power." It would be more accurate to say that Vitani didn't know The Roar's full capabilities, since Kion had ulocked most of the Roar's capabilities while he was at the Tree of Life. Back in episode 20 of season 1 when Kion first met Zira and her family he did use The Roar on Vitani, Zira, Nuka, and the rest Zira's lioness. Vitani also saw the Roar in action earlier in the episode when Kion also used it to make it rain temporarily in the out lands. Kovu was the only one at that time who wasn't blasted by The Roar at the end of that episode. So you see, Vitani had seen what the Roar could do at that particular time, when she was a club. Chances are, she didn't remember as she was training as Zira's sencond in command, brainwashed by Zira's warmongering, and unaware of the plot the ghost of scar was planning. Which is also something you do another video on. In all that since the ghost of scar rose in the flames of the volcano in the outlands, and his war in the Pride Lands; how was Zira and her family not aware of any of it or how come they didn't have their own encounter with the ghost of scar?????????? What do you think of my question at the end and the rest of what I've said. Please I'd really like to know your thoughts every one thank you and excuse my over analytical nerdyness!!!!!!

I have a slightly different opinion on why Kion decides to retire from the duty of the Lion Guard and gives the position to Vitani. Kion began to realize his own position in the circle isn’t really the leader of the Lion Guard for his hole life. Mufasa told Kion to choose the path that is right for himself, and for Kion, he has Rani and the crew, which are now family for him. And the tree of life needs a guard and the roar’s help. And as the first lion since Askari, Kion isn’t using the roar as a power to aid his job, but understanding it and becoming one with the roar day by day. His final trial as Askari said is the willingness to give up the roar completely, and he did. And from that moment, Kion is the roar itself. That’s why although losing his mark, he didn’t lose the roar. And why both Janna and Rani refer Kion as “the roar”. He didn’t need any markings, cause he is roar. And the roar should stayed in the tree of life. And that is his place. I’m glad Kion finally find his journey home and find out who he really is.

Can we all just appreciate the irony that the two lions who were supposedly fated to become like Scar yet refused to follow that path... both ultimately become kings?
I hope that there is at least like 3 more episodes that all comedown to Vitani felling like she can't lead the guard and gives the roll back to Kion, then again he is part of the Night Pride now...

@@_loveableidiot It was heavily hinted. Nuka made a comment that Kovu "wasn't Scar's real son" with bitterness in his voice. Not to mention that Nuka is rather skinny and weak much like Scar had been. Pretty much hinting that Nuka is Scar's son. And with Vitani a lot of people, myself included, believe her to be Scar's daughter. But Kovu is not. That much is confirmed. The other two aren't but it's definitely hinted at.

Kion is same size as Vitani and Kiara. But Kovu and Simba taller than him. Basically Kion is same size as the average lionesses I think🤔. Eventually his mane will grow in time.
Kion, Rani, Kiara and Vitani are of the same size (from what I saw, Kovu is a bit taller).
Why Kovu is taller? Cause he's a male lion, so he's taller and "stronger". Kion is a male, so, even if Kiara and Vitani are older, Kion is a male, and male lions are bigger than female lions. Simba and Nala are WAY older than them, so that means they are bigger.
Even if Kion has the same size, he's still younger, and that's because his mane isn't complete yet.
Remember the first The Lion King movie? Remember when Simba was growing? I mean, singing "Hakuna Matata" with Timon and Pumba? Well, when he was "dancing"/"singing" with them, he grew, and in one of the moments, he was a teenager, and you can see that he doesn't have a full complete mane. Was I clear?
Though I think instead of making part of his mane, they should have made then adults with kion and his full grown mane.

I love it that Vitani is leading the lion guard Kion has mastered it I also like how it explains why Vitani wasn't at Kiara and Kovu presentation I thought she left. But now I beg the question where was Tiifu and Zuri though I think I found them during the presentation. I'm satisfied with the ending though people don't like it but I do

Both of them have the road. Kion no longer needs the mark to access the roar as he had fully mastered it and made it his own becoming a God king.

@@kingnamor7777 I have to disagree. Askari says that Kion mastered the roar by being willing to let it go. The night pride also never had the roar so it would make no sense for him to only get it back after getting the mark of the night pride.

From the moment we first saw her, Vitani has always been my favorite character from the Lion King. I loved Lacey Chabert and I absolutely loved how they were able to bring an ending to The Lion Guard and mix it with the events of The Lion King II. I totally wanna see a spinoff with Vitani's Lion Guard and the whole royal family. I feel like we never got to know the other members of her Guard like we have Kion's. I feel like the show should have continued with Vitani's guard and the royal family's lives. I'd like to see how everyone accepts her after having been Zira's second-in-command her whole life. Basically that time between the end of TLKII and the final episode of TLG. I know it's only been a year but I think a continuation/spinoff is definitly required. I know the show was about Kion's Lion Guard, which came to a close when Kion passed over the Roar, but what about their new roles at the Tree of Life? I feel like that should be explored in the spinoff as well. The Lion King has been one of my favorite franchises ever, the other being The Chronicles of Narnia, but we're not here to talk about that, we're here to talk about Vitani and Kion and The Lion Guard. Also, I know Kion and Rani is a thing, but can we just take a second and imagine Kion and Vitani getting together? Or maybe she'd become kinda like an aunt figure to Kion and Rani's cubs and vise versa. I have a lot of hopes for a spinoff that's probably not gonna happen, but there can always be fanfiction! 😉😉😉
I, personally, think The Lion Guard gets a lot of things wrong. The characterization of people like Simba, Kiara and Zira are very inaccurate to their Lion King counterparts. However, I feel the only character that improved in The Lion Guard was Vitani. I really enjoyed her character ark in The Lion Guard because she did not get nearly enough screen-time in Simba's Pride. She is the only character that improved from the transition. However, this is just my opinion.
I've always wondered that what became to Vitani after Zira's death and union of Simba's pride and Outsiders. Now I know and I'm glad that I know. Vitani is one of my favorite characters in the Lion King/Guard saga.
I'm actually very happy for Vitani she was my first cartoon crush when I was 6. and as for her guard they are all amazingly designed and voiced. I really like the crazy lioness they got for Bunga's spot. all of them have cute little quarks that make them special. I think this is a great end to not only lion guard but the lion king as a whole. but hay maybe we will get a spin off with Kion ruling the tree of life or Vitani's guard protecting Kiara and Kovu. only time will tell... im Kovuta king of Royal Island and that's my thoughts. Here's my idea for a story that can take place after the show.
A dark furred lioness cub sways her tail slowly and looked up at the mighty tree. A tree of life. Her ears lowered as the thought of the tree's untimely demise clouds her mind. Its name didn't seem to fit anymore. Not for a long time. She stood up as the cracked ground proved uncomfortable to even sit on. She gently placed her paw on the dead tree.
"Whatever happened to you, oh Tree of Life? I've heard so little, but even then; you seemed everlasting." The cub spoke softly, almost in a whisper.
An older lioness walked up to the cub, sitting next to her.
"You wish to know of Queen Rani and King Kion?" The older lioness said, in response to the cub's question.
The cub turned her attention to the elder, and her ears perked up with curiosity. "Who?"

Simba is in no way like Scar. Simba looks after His Kingdom and His People. When Scar ruled he only cared about himself and made no effort to take care of The Pride Lands.
I feel they kinda messed up with vitananis' guard taking over. Maybe they could be a backup guard if something happened to kions guard. Or travel between pridelands, outlands and the tree of life as a 'scout/patrol guard' and cover lots of land and then give reports over time as to what is happening outside the pridelands as Rani can't really send the owl back and forth so maybe ona or Ono go with vitananis'guard to be a sort of messanger???If anything vitananis' guard should take over when kovu and Kiara become king and queen not before.

I mean, technically the only reason Beshte lost was cause he had to stop to take a mud dip, tbh I think it was a little unfair and should have warranted at least a time out. He was clearly stronger and winning until that point
Im not sure, vitani sounded rude and possessive over her brand new rule of the lion guard. Especially when she knew kion and the others were still capable. I like her as a ruler but she seems quite unlikeable in this situation. I also don’t approve of Kion just giving up his team member’s and his role with the lion guard, he didn’t even ask if it was okay with the rest of them :/
The 1 only nitpick I have to say about the lion guard is that they made the lions look much smaller especially when they're teenagers when they was supposed to be as grown-up especially after watching The Lion King 1 and 2

though i find it a little insulting towards kion's guard that the pridelands just gave the title of lion guard over to vitani.sure they did need to have a new guard looking after the pridelands and thats understandable but did they have to compete for it at the end? surely someone would have told vitani that kion's guard were on a long journey to get healed and that they are planning on returning once they are fully healed. i would be a little pissed off knowing that after a long journey of hardships i would have come home to see that someone else had taken my role,my hideout and everyone else is ok with it.
