I also think being under Simba's leadership was a factor. She also wanted to be Queen, so being a simple pridelander wasn't enough for her. What a villan lmao!
Said pride’s leader killed her mate, took everything she had and then casted her and her children into no man’s land to scrape by. If that wasn’t bleak enough, she lost her son, Nuka in the middle of the movie and her adoptive son who she trained up for many years to take back their home turned on her. I think she was so clouded by grief and rage at that point that it made it impossible for her to think clearly.
Can we talk about the contrast between Zira's death and Scar's death? Scar died helpless desperately trying to convince the hyenas to not kill him and begging for his life with Simba before that, Zira was offered help yet she decided that killing herself was better than the mercy the people that killed Scar (in her mind) offered. Scar's death occurs while everything is on fire, Zira dies in the water. Scar died because of his betrayal, Zira died because she was too loyal. Scar and Zira are, in a way, opposites from each other despite both being villains and their death's reflect that.
Zira did try to get back up at the last second, but it was too late due to her taking too long. She only realized at the last moment that she was going to get what she wanted. I maybe remembering it wrong.
@@PandemoniumZ-367 Well in the first version of her death, she died of suicide but it was to dark for a kids movie. So they left out the dialogue of this scene but kept the rest of the scene so I think she still did suicide.
I have a few thoughts as to why they maybe wanted to scrub it away. First. It was basically her offing herself. This is a kids movie. They wanted to play it safe and not have the villain quite literally commit slip and slide. Another reason I think they had was that that “never” line sounded so creepy. It could’ve scared children. It sounded similar in tone to that clown in the brave little toaster that says “Run” and I know that scared a lot of kids. And with Zira’s deranged look while she says that line it would’ve scared kids. But with this being said I do wish they had kept it. I mean. HAUNCHBACK EXISTS, and Disney made it just fine with all of the dark, DARK, shit in it. They can have the villain willfully let themselves perish. I mean they literally made the villain in Tarzan accidentally hang themself on a vine.
@@onyxtheowl24 I mean to be fair, we didn’t see that Tarzan villain get hung and Frollo burning into a crisp (we see both of them fall, but not what happens when they get down or we just see the aftermath only slightly camouflaged), both were unintentional, while Zira chooses to die by her own claws and Kiara (who is probably in her mid teens if not late teens) literally watches her do just that. “Slip and slide” would have been too much for kids to understand and WAY too much for parents to cope with seeing because it’s a serious topic and chances are that someone in that particular family possibly died they their own hand and the family got screw up emotionally from.
Zira definitely runs a Scar stan forum on tumbler and her pride members are the users. And you know for a fact they be doxxing Simba and sending death treats to his (remaining) family
Honestly it isn't too surprising someone can end up like this. This is why it's important you never put someone on a high pedestal, you have to think critically and openly. Zira was likely too influenced by her infatuation with him, and more then likey she believed propaganda he could have spread.
her personality traits dont make her the victim. once the suppossed victim harms others there should be empathy for her. she made herself the villain scar just influenced her she decided to willingly accept a weak Lion that was starving weak and flat like she is they look like crack heads.
Damaged people fall for others just as damaged, or even more so damaged than them. Don't know if it was Zira's case but she definitely reminds me of someone who projected herself onto Scar or pitied him so much that she fell into that infatuation.
Yeah it is like MAGA, people who live in North Korea, and the Nazis. People with a brain only focus on themselves and not put someone else on a high pedestal!!
God. This deleted scene of her whispering "No. Never." is absolutely chilling. Wish they kept that part, really would have shown her obsession with Scar better. TLK2 is such a great movie there's not one character I dislike in there. Also ironic how Kovu ended up becoming king, or more like being Simba's possible successor to become one, just not like how Zira would have wanted.
Well kovu actually had a good heart but he was manipulated by Zira but I think that scar used to have good heart like simba which was destroyed by his father I think maybe 🤔
I still believe Scar and Zira was mates of some sorts why else would she obsess over him? He overhunted and caused the pridelanders to starve and didn't care
well I've seen many comic writers takes on it, either they're mates, Scar is just highly manipulative, or in one, Zira is actually Scar's daughter and Scar kept manipulating and using the fact zira wanted just a little bit of attention from him against her, heck, Nuka's father in this comic, Scar killed him and his whole pride when Zira left to be with him because Scar showed her no love at all
@@Deactivatedsorry nope, maybe at one point in canon, but by the time of Kovu they arent mates, as they didn't want Kovu and Kiara to be related, so while Nuka may be Zira and Scar's child, Vitani and Kovu are not
Maybe it’s like a Ted Bundy cult thing, she’s attracted to the madness and had a kid with a lion that looked like Scar. Or they were mates, Scar got her pregnant, and died
Personally I also think it is almost certain that Zira and Scar were a couple at some point, or at least Zira was obsessively in love by the way she mentions him. Although since it's not entirely clear some people have other theories, like Zira could be Scar's daughter for example (that would also explain her extreme fanaticism and idealization).
I actually wish they had kept in those first two deleted scenes. It would make Kovu’s actions make more empathetic, and actually show why he might feel attached to a literal dictator.
Here's a fun idea.. what if the final version of Zira's death was Kiara's way of coping? She was traumatized by Zira willingly throwing herself off the cliff so she convinced herself it was just oh, she slipped and fell and I couldn't save her. It was an accident. Seems like something Kiara might do. And since she's the only one who saw it happen, the others just take her word for it and it's "canon".
I really like Zira as a character, she's got a powerful presence and weight in the story. I do wish they explored her story more, like why was she so obsessed with Scar? Why did she end up in the outlands(yes I know that answered that in the Lion Guard but it was super vague). I feel like they could have redeemed her or just made her less evil so she wouldn't be a constant threat. In the movie they explore Simba's trauma, I feel like they could have done something similar with Zira. Like Scar manipulated her, which we know he's great at manipulation, so having a scene were she realizes everything Scar told her was a lie and seeing Scar for who he truly was, could've been a powerful one. Maybe after that she rejoins the Pridelands or she heads off on her own. But I still adored her character regardless, just would've loved to see more
As much I would love that as well, I think how it ended was important, you can't help everybody, sometimes others are simply too far gone, and sometimes we don't get to know all the answers and the full story, that's why her character is so intriguing, if we were to learn more about her though, that would be possibly exciting. ^^
While I second the other reply in this thread that "Not everyone can be redeemed because at the end of the day, it's THEIR choice" is a pretty important message, I do think it would be neat to explore her backstory. Because yeah, now that you mention it, why WAS she so obsessed with Scar?
i like how even though she never got much screen time, her character motivations are so clear you could easily assume solid answers to these questions. mufasa already had a queen, but zira craved power. u can tell that she enjoyed the thought of being scars ruling partner and while she may have actually loved him, her love for his power is more blatant, explaining why she comes across so obsessive, being by scars side was probably the peak of her life in her eyes because it’s when she held the most social power. i wish they showed previous interactions between her and the rest of the pride before she became an outsider, if she got along with them or was more of a cynical outcast like scar too. i believe she left the pride solely because scar was killed and she no longer was queen, but her having strained relationships with the other female lions would be fun to explore. she’s a cool character for sure, but overall her tragic ending is what gives her character so much meaning and importance, if anything i’d like content between her and scar, and to keep her dark demise the same. did he show affection towards her or was he callous? wish we could see how they interacted. while redemption is the path most people go down for their favorite villains, the thought of her being just as manipulative and power hungry as scar, making it understandable why she couldn’t accept that scar would lie to her, because she believed that intellectualally they were on the same level, is far more impactful than her just being another victim of his. it gives her her own devious voice, and it makes her far more interesting if she connected with scar because they’re so similar morally, than if she was just manipulated into being a female scar
That smile Zira does at the end before letting herself fall was so creepy. I can imagine it would have scared children. Her simply smiling as she went down was creepy enough lol.
Long story short: Zira was Scars mate and Kovu was their son. Then Disney realized that would make Kovu and Kiaras love story very sweet home Alabama, so they changed it but left her obsession over her “leader” in.
it's funny how they realized that but never addressed how nala isn't related to simba when the only other adult males in the pride were simba's relatives
@@tiablue9106 it was confirmed by Disney to be some random male lion that we never see. I don’t blame disney though since having only 2-3 male lions in a pride is realistic to how real life prides are
@@kaijukirby6424 the lions in The Lion King are supposed to behave like humans not actual lions (if they were trying to make them behave realistically Simba would have killed Nuka, Vitani and Kovu).
Woah, I had no idea there were so many deleted scenes. Too bad these never made the final cut, they're awesome! Here's to hoping they all get fan-animated eventually. And I love everything you mentioned throughout the video. Ngl, Zira is one of my favorite Disney characters in general due to the way she was written. She's a veyr interesting character when you think about it. You're seriously reminding me to finally rewatch these. XD And I gotta say, GOD I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT MY LULLABY! It might just be me, but I think that it's almost as well done as Be Prepared with it's execution and it's a very chilling sequence all around. They did amazingly with it. Aww man, I forgot how amazing Suzanne Pleshette did as Zira. She was an incredibly talented woman. Also poor fucking Nuka, he deserved better than pretty much being the comic relief untl he died. T_T
I am currently working on a comic book- it’s a Broadway musical adaptation of TLK2, with original songs and new scenes. One new thing I added to the big fight at the end was a final duel between Zira and Kovu, and Zira slips off the edge of the rim of the gorge. Kiara holds her hand out to help her, but she instead tries to attack Kiara, and when Kovu tries to get Kiara away, Zira loses her grip and falls to the water below. I thought it would be poetic to have Zira die because of an accident caused by the kid she tried to brainwash the hardest.
I think some people have animated the deleted scenes, not all of them though. I have seen Zira’s suicide and the Madness of King Scar. They were both really good! I wish we could’ve seen them in the actual movie. They probably removed them both because they weren’t as “child-friendly” as they wanted it to be.
@@sznsk still working on it; so far I have released the first half of Act 1. I haven’t gotten to “My Lullaby” yet. You can check the videos out on my RUclips channel.
Zira: *Wants Kovu to become King to fulfill Scar's dying wish* Also Zira: *Refuses to join the pridelands* Kovu: *Married Kiara and becomes King* Scar: ... You really committed suicide when you could've had what you wanted to begin with? Zira: .....
Keep in mind that it's also not about gender but bloodstatus.Yes,Kovu becomes King but it doesn't matter since Kiara is the reigning Royaltys Offspring, therefore she will be the leader and Kovu is 'only' the leaders mate
@Angie Reyes mhm so they got their wish for Scar's heir to be king but not how they wanted. But hey, happens irl sometimes too. kids taking over but not following their parents rule
Despite being the main antagonist of a direct to dvd Disney sequel, Zira is a far better villain than she has any right to be. The deleted scenes in particular give some very enlightening context.
Since disney hates acknowledging their sequels I thought the lion guard was replacing lion king 2. I love that film and believe it's far better than the first film. So I was shocked seeing how much the show acknowledged lion king 2. I don't forgive lion guard for it's mistakes of course but the constant respect for lion king 2 makes me less harsh on it than I would've been otherwise.
@@leandraleo281 The only few episodes of that show I watched lol, basically they gave a little story in between Lion King 2 beginning and end. Kion meets Nuka and Kovu AFTER the first confrontation between Simba and Zira in the movie. After an arc i didn't even watch where Kion grows, he comes back to see the aftermath after the ending of LK2, where Kovu is already accepted in the Pridelands. It's the last two episodes of season 2 if you want to watch just those.
@@mysryuza I mean lions on average live 12-15 years. If we take it by 15 years, 1 year would be equal to about 4-5 in human years. Kion looked about 3-4 there so let’s say 17-20 in human years? A lot of people get married at that age
I watched the whole damned thing because people were raving about the sToRy. Boy, was I disappointed when the "story" took two seasons to develop. The only episode I genuinely enjoyed was the one where Kion and Kiara go to some place with Nala and learn to appreciate each other. Other than that, I don't care that the hyraxes are trying to yeet themselves, I don't care that the zebras are stupid, I don't care about the roar, and I don't care about the tree of life (why the FUCK are there animals from across the globe?). Oh yeah, and I don't appreciate that Mufasa could have just zoom called Simba in the first movie but chose not to. I guess Simba "learning his lesson" after being traumatized was more important than saving his WIFE and subjects from suffering. Also screw Nuka I guess, because despite him having a VERY important role as the catalyst for Zira's pride breaking apart, they just... don't mention him at all in the last season. And no, I don't believe it's because of Andy Dick because they hired plenty of other people to voice characters with previously established voice actors. I think they just genuinely forgot. I guess to boil it down, TLG has major Teen Titans Go vibes regarding its quality compared to its predecessors.
@@Spinogrl2000 I agree sooo much. I personally also disliked how they made the characters, especially their personalities. For example: In the second movie, Kiara really doesn't like the idea of being a queen one day. She's also playful and a bit wild. And then in The Lion Guard, they chose to portray her as a complete opposite. She's full of herself, acts rather bumptious and serious and seems excited to be the next queen. Like what? The same with Simba. And Kion.. bro, I can't explain how much I dislike him. He's the same age as Simba was in the first half of the first movie, yet he acts like some friggin sergeant, who was trained the whole life to act certain way. His character is annyoing and unbelievable. The villains miss the spice. I literally loved both Scar and Zira in the movies, but none of them has the same magic to them as they did in the original. The other villains, such as hyenas and jackals, have literally no motivation other than 'lol I'm evil'. It changes a bit when Scar appears, but until then, they're just boring. You would think you'd at least see some cool fights and stuff, but nope. The lion guard can handle anything, it doesn't matter if the fights are boring. And if all else fails, Kion just roars. How original /j. To sum it up, I really can't find anything to like about the show.
I like to think deep down Zira knew that Scar wasn't as good as she said he was, but is essentially in denial. She seems more obsessed with this idea of Scar she created rather than the person he really was.
As a child I knew that Zira was loyal Scar and would do anything to get revenge for him, but I didn’t realize up until recently that she was just OBSESSED with him. It’s even more unsettling that she mentioned was destined to be his ‘queen’ once he was king…which is weird because Scar never once mentioned anything about her or other outlands lions when he took over. My theory is that when scar was exiled, it’s likely that he needed a way to survive the outlands so Scar uses his smarts and silver tongue to wormed his way into Zira’s pack, filling their ears with lies of him being banished wrongfully and vows to take the Pridelands back as his own. He even manipulated and charmed Zira with false promises and even adopted Kovu to make things more convincing. Once he was ready, he left the Pride behind with A false promise that he would return for them once he becomes King. It’s also likely that he forgot about them during The whole duration of the movie.
Zira's obsession overall was very cult like. The deleted scene at the end accentuated that. Honestly, I think if the sequal kept the deleted ending, it would've made the movie even more memorable with how dark it was with its themes.
I don't think Zira meets Scar when they were juveniles. I bet it was during his reign. She could had lost her former mate and father of her children (according to the diretor himself, any of her cubs were Scar's). After the mate's death, perhaps murdered by a rogue lion that Zira don't accepted as new mate, she and her lionesses ran away. I think she was pregnant with Vitani and Kovu, and Nuka was a bit big cub. Then, they entered the pride-lands and meet Scar, he let them stay if they promes loyalty to him. As the time was going on, Zira come more and more close to Scar, eventually he turned her his queen (the diretor also confirmed that she was his queen). So, Simba returned and happened all the final fight, I bet that while that, Zira was givin birth to Vitani and Kovu in a nearby cave and her lionesses were hunting anywere. Even, I think that after Scar confess his crime to Simba and the lionesses of the pride and the hyenas come to his aid, he come see Zira and the newborns, then chose Kovu. After Scar left the cave, Simba saw him, chased him and they fight on the top of pride rock.
That's an interesting theory but Scar had lost his roar before the first Lion King movie, so if he were to teach her about it, it would've had to of been during his time as leader of his lion guard. So he would've been younger then
@@LenaHyena I see your point, but he could had explained it to her during the time i belive (and think it's more accurate) they meet eachother. I also belive that Zira, when arrived in pride-lands, was in the start of pregnancy of Vitani and Kovu, a lion gestation last three-four months, bearing that in mind, she and Scar had a lot of time to know eachother.
@@tiagoking1312 A good theory but I feel like she would've found it hard to believe without actually seeing it, plus I doubt Scar would've brought it up. But we can agree to disagree. I like that people have different theories about it 👍🏽

Honestly the scariest thing she does is when she says “No… Never…” let’s go, and slowly drops into the water while staring at kiara with pure evil in her eyes. That scene still is creepy to me.
Basically Lion King 1 & 2 has a powerful message on grief: will we learn to accept it in a healthy way like Simba did or continue to let it hurt us and others around us like Zira
I find it really funny to imagine Zira is just like an obsessive fangirl. (also I'm pretty sure we're supposed to interpret it as Scar and Zira being a thing but I refuse because I could never accept/imagine Scar in any romantic/sexual relationship)
@@kseniaixbalam2826He wanted to, yeah, but it was only out of lust for her pretty looks and the desire to have heirs as soon as possible rather than any genuine feelings of love. I personally don't think he could even feel anything resembling "love".
Scar’s real name was confirmed to be Askari they probably knew each other since they were cubs hence Zira’s line “Scar and I were close, very close, he taught me all about the roar (which probably means he kept giving her information about the roar until he lost it)”
Seriously, if she had planned to attack pride rock sooner she would have met scar, a flaming fire demon manifestation of scar. But she was a damn fucking week, or less, late.
Ah I wish the creators would develop more Scar and Zira background. They’re such a power couple with really intense and interesting dynamic between each other 🖤
The music score gets me every time. I have shivers listening to it during Zira's struggle on the rocks before her death. It's so sad to see her go. She reminds me of my mother. Thank you so much for the psych analysis, it's been years since I've seen the movie. I know what I'm watching tonight!
It would be nice if they kept the concept in 1:03, having Zira telling her children they belong in the pride land too, since it is a dream of her she wants to fulfill for a better life. Not only cause of herself or Scar, (even though those two reasons are the most we get) but for her pack and cubs too since she seem to slightly care about them, I mean taking care of her pack is her responsibility and she mourned Nuka's death. It would be a nice touch knowing her wish came true in the end by keeping this scene or concept of it, not just the end Zira wanted it but as the good and true ending. W a happy ending for her cubs that were left. Since we later see in the movie's ending Kiara stands up telling that the other lions are lions too and should get to live in the pride lands aswell. That they belong here. There could have been a connection between those two scenes that actually would matter. Though if Zira was written slightly more merciless and had a motherly side (which she actually showed to care) she might would have get some empathy and therefor that scene would matter more, but obv that was not the intention at all since the movie wanted to portray her the way she is in the vid lol.
I honesty love how much of a powerful character she is. She was a leader of a good chunk of a pack of lionesses that lived in a dessert. With a son and 2 toddlers also to take care of nonetheless. Not only did she succeed in this, but her pack was demolishing the Pridelandors in that battle like they were their pray. Speak about her obsession however you want. She is a queen for this What in my option makes her more dangeros then even Scar is the fact that, while Scar was great at manipulation but couldn't fight for the life of him, Zira is great in every aspect. She's a great strategist, a gaslighter and a great fighter. Don't even try to say "If Kiara and Kovu didn't come Simba would have killed her" SHE HIT HIM ONES AND ALMOST MADE HIM BECOME GRASS WITH HIS FATHER! Not to mention the briliant plan she made to weaken him only like a day before. To brag about her strainght some more, It took at last 5 OUTLANDERS ( I didn't count but It's somewhere there) to even injure him. He fought god knows how many of them at the same time and overpovered them. SHE ALMOST KNOCKED HIM OUT IN 1 HIT I also like how as similiar he is to Scar she's also the polar opposite. I also like how they made her both, emotional and badass. Usually, especially with female characters we either get 1 or the other, so It's nice to see a well made female character. I can forgive DIsney for all kinds of bullshit but I will never forgive them for makeing vitani betray her
3:14 - 3:44 Took me a few years to realize, that if you switch out the characters with Haku and Yubaba (Spirited Away), this is what she’d sound like when training him to be her apprentice.
My favorite thought to ponder about Zira is how Scar probably looked at her and was like "oh god not this bitch again." Also, it is funny how Zira just blatantly ignores that Scar murdered his brother to grab power.
1:48 yes! THANK YOU! Finally! Somebody who agrees with me plus Simba is partly to blame because he threw Scar over the cliff where he knew the hyenas would be waiting and waiting for Scar and he just let them do the killing instead and let them do the dirty work so technically yes Zira was right
I'm not sure he knew the hyenas would be there because it was technically Scar that bitch smacked him into that spot. But he definitely saw him get mauled by the hyenas. Part of me feels like the hyenas would've eaten regardless if Simba came back or not because of how poor of a leader Scar was becoming. I agree with you to some extent tho

It always gets me how Zira was ready to throw down with Simba in Lion King 2 the moment she saw him despite him being a bigger and more experienced fighter at that point. Even Scar didn't have that kind of confidence in his fighting skills.
The movie made it seem like Zira was debating in her head to change and let the past go while hanging on for life, but was too late to admit it hence the screaming when she fell. I love how you kept the deleted scenes for this video, it really does add to her character
@Mari glad someone sees it
Honestly it isn't too surprising someone can end up like this.
@@Пинагод Damn... This is so relatable. I think I'm f***ed...

Well technically he wouldnt be king or Simba's heir per se since the lineage is through Kiara
Well kovu actually had a good heart but he was manipulated by Zira but I think that scar used to have good heart like simba which was destroyed by his father I think maybe 🤔
I also noticed that when she fell it played the same music/sounds as when mufasa was thrown off the cliff by scar
@@PawsAnimationsthat was a place holder I'd say but it is a poetic choice
I never realized how super obssessed she was with Scar as a child like did he even know she existed? 😭
he probably hung in that cave to avoid her crazy ass😭
Scar did interact with her during his life (as Zira claimed that Scar taught her about the Roar of the Elders).
They have at least one child in common, this should serve as a confirmation of their ties in the past Xd
I still believe Scar and Zira was mates of some sorts why else would she obsess over him? He overhunted and caused the pridelanders to starve and didn't care
well I've seen many comic writers takes on it, either they're mates, Scar is just highly manipulative, or in one, Zira is actually Scar's daughter and Scar kept manipulating and using the fact zira wanted just a little bit of attention from him against her, heck, Nuka's father in this comic, Scar killed him and his whole pride when Zira left to be with him because Scar showed her no love at all
Is he not in canon?
Although her character is a little more obsessively than insane loyalty like I thought before, I can't help but have a soft spot for Zira

That part had me rolling!!
I actually wish they had kept in those first two deleted scenes. It would make Kovu’s actions make more empathetic, and actually show why he might feel attached to a literal dictator.
I also removes the incest concern because he isn't scar's son by blood
Here's a fun idea.. what if the final version of Zira's death was Kiara's way of coping? She was traumatized by Zira willingly throwing herself off the cliff so she convinced herself it was just oh, she slipped and fell and I couldn't save her. It was an accident. Seems like something Kiara might do. And since she's the only one who saw it happen, the others just take her word for it and it's "canon".
U think too much, nah
this is my personal heeadcanon now!
That's so interesting, I like that take.

I’m pissing myself rn 😭💀
Maybe we could have a separate movie dedicated to and ending with a good Zira.
I agree with this so much!! I wish she had more development and maybe even a chance to be redeemed.

Long story short: Zira was Scars mate and Kovu was their son. Then Disney realized that would make Kovu and Kiaras love story very sweet home Alabama, so they changed it but left her obsession over her “leader” in.

I get yall, season 1 and 2 are literally a child show but season 3 man, it gets dark fast.
Yaeh deadass it's still bugs me. It was a waste of time. Although some small parts I could say I enjoyed but most of The Lion Guard was bad.

the way Zira rejects Kiara from her rescue with a smile on her face leading to death is chilling
Hard to believe Zira is the same voice actress as Yubaba from Spirited Away and Kobu's voice actor voicing Haku too
You know what would've sealed the deal on how clinically insane Zira is? A god damn swan dive into the river instead of just falling.
I wish they left the first parts of the vid in the movie because it gives Zira more character than what she was given
4:03 Even looking like Scar and Zira's obsession with him, she hated Kovu for her son dying.
Yo that last deleted scene sent chills down my spine too bad they didn’t keep it but it would’ve traumatized the kids.

Scar: You're not affiliated with me!
But Zira has got to let things go and peace needs to restore.
Find someone who will be as devoted to you as Zira is to Scar
I honesty love how much of a powerful character she is. She was a leader of a good chunk of a pack of lionesses that lived in a dessert. With a son and 2 toddlers also to take care of nonetheless. Not only did she succeed in this, but her pack was demolishing the Pridelandors in that battle like they were their pray. Speak about her obsession however you want. She is a queen for this
What in my option makes her more dangeros then even Scar is the fact that, while Scar was great at manipulation but couldn't fight for the life of him, Zira is great in every aspect. SHE ALMOST KNOCKED HIM OUT IN 1 HIT
I also like how as similiar he is to Scar she's also the polar opposite. I also like how they made her both, emotional and badass. Usually, especially with female characters we either get 1 or the other, so It's nice to see a well made female character.

1:48 yes! THANK YOU!
@@LenaHyena
Besides the fact that it was propably Simba who exiled her. You know.
@@saagabragi6938 Ya, that was confirmed
wait are we seriously blaming Simba now for the death of a dictator who had it coming? I love Scar because he is entertaining and funny but he's not the victim by any means
@@hassanalkhalaf1115 We're not calling Scar a victim. We're talking about how the situation looks through Zira’s eyes. Obviously, *to her,* Simba is the one to blame for his death
(Just a quick comment I’ll unpin later)
I want to be able to communicate with y’all better. I want to read your requests, criticisms, feedback and votes on which villain edits I should work on or upload first.
RUclips is being weird with comments and requests can be lost quickly. Any idea what app I should use to communicate with y'all on? 🤔
discord server?
@@ToppyDreemurr Hmm, maybe. Although I have absolutely no idea how to manage a discord server
You could make a twitter or facebook account.
Honestly, I felt bad for Zira in this movie. She just wanted to avenge her idol, or friend, since she said her and Scar were very close.
HELP IM ALREADY WHEEZING LOOKING AT THE THUMBNAIL-😭
also she's so obsessed with scar like every 2 seconds she goes "S C A R"
In TLK scar barely mentioned Zira--😂💀
1:03 i never knew of this deleted scene but the music they added makes Zira look like she just wants her children to have a better life
Zira was one of those girls that liked you but you didn’t really want anything to do with her. That was her for Scar.
At the end when zira was acting like scar I started laughing, but when she let go whit that crazy look I died!
Why does the storyboard of zira dying look more terrifying than the final scene
I LOVE ZIRA SO MUCH YOU DON’T EVEN UNDERSTAND I LOVE YOU TOO WTF
oh, word??? 😳
I mean- 👀
@@thishuman1621 perhaps... 😶
Maybe… 🤫
I can see the romantic chemistry here
1:33 funny how she says _hand_ chosen but also says _paw_ prints
Its a shame they cut up ziras final scene so much.
Her intentionally dropping herself into the river said a lot about her character, she would rather die than accepting help from the enemy.
Kinda mirrored mufasas death but turned around.
It always gets me how Zira was ready to throw down with Simba in Lion King 2 the moment she saw him despite him being a bigger and more experienced fighter at that point. Even Scar didn't have that kind of confidence in his fighting skills.
Too bad we never got any flashbacks of Scar and Zira interacting.
The movie made it seem like Zira was debating in her head to change and let the past go while hanging on for life, but was too late to admit it hence the screaming when she fell. But in actuality, the deleted scene shows that she wanted to die to be with Scar fell silently in contrast to Scar begging for life.
Zira's last words was actually haunting!
Zira: *widened eyes/whispering* "NO!" "NEVER!"
Lol! I don’t know why I found that part funny “This plan is going to go perfectly! *Kovu betrays Zira, and Nuka dies because of that*…this plan did not go perfectly.
