Beyonce does this often with her band. She’s really big on live music even on tour, she’s famous for an all female full band. She also does really good job of mimicking the instruments. Beyoncé’s ear for music is impeccable

This is one of the best performances I've seen in a long time, they all were perfect and the band was tight. The bluesy soul intro was sick and Beyonces vocals amazing. I always play this when I'm working and still get goosebumps. Great reaction guys!!!!
The best part of all of this is Stevie just vibing to this whole performance! Like damn doing a good job is amazing but having THE icon enjoying it to it’s filled has to be such a proud moment as a musician!

Beyoncé has done a lot of parts in her show where she mimics the guitarist or a drummer One on one. It’s super dope , she had a section in the show where they would come up and take turns.

Yep, Clapton guitar. Hand delivered by the man himself, Sheeran's first guitar idol. Also, may I suggest Ed Sheeran's cover of Dirrty in the Live Lounge? It's pretty stripped down, but the piano player goes crackmode at the end and it's just hella groovy.

The "house band" is listed as Alex Al, Errol Cooney, Taku Hirano, Herman Jackson, Yohei Nakamura and Lil John Roberts. And there are horns and background vocals.
This whole concert was AMAZING, by the way. Besides Beyonce, Sheeran and Clark jr. Performers included John Legend, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Babyface, Annie Lennox, Pharrel Williams, Tony Bennett, The Band Perry, India Arie, Andrea Bocelli, Jennifer Hudson, Janelle Monae, Jill Scott PLUS Stevie himself performing about a half dozen of his greatest songs. Amazing!
