The Beyoncé Can't Sing rumor came from people who are uncomfortable with her sexuality and straightforwardness. People have a difficult time accepting a black female who won't play the 'crossover game'. Beyoncé is a raw, naturally talented performer and vocalist. Too many of the artist today have been trained by Disney or some other artist pipeline. No knock to them, but they sound too similar. "Radio perfect" is what most have become. This woman is an incredible vocalist, in the mid to lower registers. Her ability to emote is unrivaled and when she hits the stage be prepared to hold your breath. This is a strong woman, who's worked hard for years to perfect her craft. Prince passed the torch to her during their 2004 Grammy duo and she's never looked back. He would be proud of her. I'm in awe and so proud you'd think she was my child. Don't ever believe the hype or hate about an artist. Decide for yourself.

I think the hate started with Beyoncé because she was always the face of her group. Then the issue happened with the original two members being replaced. Many people blamed her and her father. It became the cool thing to diss and discredit her as a artist but all she did was continue to grow and get better. In my opinion she is now at MJ status as an all around performer. She does nothing half assed and gives her all. I’m so glad you enjoyed the request. You delivered as usual Maj and I love how you are slowly being converted to part of the Beyhive! Lol looking forward to the next reaction.

I think it’s because she’s so extraordinary with performances so people seem to not grasp that you can be BOTH a performer / vocalist because there’s not many that are actually both especially in this generation. Another example is like her music is a lot of uptempo and mid tempo so they don’t think those are vocally challenging but actually those types of songs are harder than a ballad tbh, even though she has ballads it just seems like people over look it. Finally, her image, she’s not the type to stay wearing ball gowns and stand in one place so people have this visualize idea of what a “Vocalist” look like and once again she can put on a ball gown and stand in one place as well but that’s just not her Core Image.

Beyonce has the most unwarranted haters than anybody I've ever seen before. That's why people say she can't sing. When you have Michael Jackson, Prince, Whitney, Mariah, Janet, Toni, Patti, Tina, and the list goes on vouching for your talent, can't nobody say NOTHING!!!

Yo, I'm gonna tell you this now, when a black is woman is drop dead gorgeous, has an out of this world work ethic, is kind, AND IS NATURALLY TALENTED! People do not want to see them win!! I can not tell you the amount of people who hate Beyonce "just because" or have no otherwise reason to hate her. You can't say she isn't talented (untrue), you can't say she's a problematic artist (she doesn't and has never had beef with anyone in the industry in 25+ years), you can't say she's mean (anyone who's ever met her has stated she's extremely humble and kind, you most definitely can't say she's ugly!!! So, all that to say... people literally try to find any and every reason under the sun to hate her. That's why haters say "she can't sing" but we all know that's been debunked a long time ago chile.

Look Beyonce will and always be one of the baddest vocally! Like her technique alone is ridiculous. Definitely need a reaction to the Sweet Dreams Medley at I Am Yours...Live in Vegas show or Dangerously in Love at the Beyonce Experience tour next!

Beyoncé is the Queen for a reason there is no other singer/performer like her and there will never be another Beyoncé. You got to get into her live performances and her albums in general cus Beyoncé is an album artist which is a dieing bread.

So many things could’ve gone wrong in this tribute to Stevie Wonder - a misstep on the risers, hitting a wrong note, coming in wrong with the others at the chorus, flubbing an intro - but from the moment she starts walking down the aisle to the scat singing at the end, Beyoncé was flawless for nine minutes straight. The energy just jumps off the screen. This is one of my favorite captures of a live performance ever, up there with Janis at Monterey Jazz and Stevie Nicks doing Rhiannon for the Midnight Special...all three are huge-talent singers in their zone and taking us with them.

Rare poeple who don’t know nothing about singing know that Beyoncé is a vocalist and it’s because of her performance/show production dance that overshadowed her singing ability people are stuck into those esthetics that they don’t even know what she’s capable of with her voice all they know is « Beyoncé the girl who can sing and dance at the same time »plus social media and tv show more of her performing side than her singing side

You need to do a Beyonce behind the scenes…maybe the beyond the scenes for I AM Yours in Vegas…it will show you what her work ethic & personality is like..very shy but direct
