Hello, covid passport will start soon, the government of VN is still in the process of updating the PC covid app and official website. just follow the requirements that i mentioned, it's still the same. No vaccination certificate required so unvaccinated tourists are welcome but be sure to have a negative PCR or rapid antigen test.

U can get six months visa. Just Google any travel agency specialized in Vietnam. All they need is copy of passport, a photo,n fee. All can be done in three days. Travel agency will mail visa to you via priority mail or two to tbree days.

Hello! Health declaration is no longer required, so don't worry about it. I'll make qn updated video for the month of May. You just need to still secure a negative covid test and the rest of the requirements i mentioned in this video.

Hello, is the negative test required within 72 hours of landing in Viet Nam or within 72 hours of beginning of travel to Viet Nam? I ask this because it often takes about 24 hours or more to get to Viet Nam once one has boarded the first airplane.

Do you know if proof of recent infection or recent recovery is considered as evidence to enter? For entry to Singapore you can show a positive result 7-60 days prior for entry.
it is better for you to still bring with you certificate of recovery or vaccination certificate, although both are not required. Vietnam only needs negative PCR Test eithin 72 hrs or negative rapid antigen test within 24 hrs.

I just got the QR code for the pc- Covid app but not sure if I filled it out too early because I will arrived in Vietnam on June 2nd. Hopefully I will not have any problems when they try to scan it.
It's too early, you can do that again a day or before your flight to Vietnam 🇻🇳

U can do health declaration hours before your flight, you can use email not just phone number for verification

Hi! Thank you for this video. I’ve just checked a form from bureau of immigration that Filipinos need to fill out before going to vietnam. And one of the questions there is “why do you need to travel to vietnam?” (is it essential?) so I’m wondering if Filipinos are still not allowed to travel to vietnam for leisure purposes?
Hi too Ja Ninee, you can visit Vietnam for tourism. If our immigration in Philippines asks u any further just let then know Vietnam is open for leisure traveling. Just have all requirements i have mentioned, and i guess return ticket, and hotel accommodation receipt din are helpful po. You can apply evisa online, it's good for 30 days. Or u cn go here directly via visa on arrival, since visa exempted ang pinas for 15 days.

Hello! We are planning to visit Vietnam at the end of this month, going from Hanoi to Saigon. I want to know if all tourist sights are open, is a negative covid test required for domestic flights as well, and is it okay to travel there considering the covid situation?
Hello Nihal! I can tell almost all tourist attractions here in Saigon are open, while in Hanoi it can be 85% open (just note they close shops & establishments earlier like 9pm-ish). Yes, negative covid test is required for domestic travels, just go with rapid test since it is cheaper. Overall you'll be fine here, transportation & street food, restaurants and bars too are operational, it's been normal since late last year. 😀

Correct! All covid tests are mot required in Vietnam. All are welcome, vaccinated or not. 😇

I have downloaded the pc-covid Vietnam app for health declaration but I'm unable to activate with my phone number or email, probably because I don't have a Vietnamese carrier. I am in USA. My trip is next week. I have tried contacting the health minister on their facebook site and no response. I have emailed the consulate and no response. I have tried calling the consulate multiple times but calls go to mail box which is full so I can't leave message. Any suggestions? Will I be allowed to board my flights?
You are allowed to board your flight. You can do PC Covid health declaration at VN destination air ports with the help of any VN air ports staff and assistants
Please try again using email, i once tried it with a yahoo mail account recently, and it worked, you can do health declaration once you landed here in Vietnam.

Yes correct, citizens from Germany is included in the list of 15 countries that can enjoy visa exemption in Vietnam. You will be allowed up to 15 days without a visa regardless of passport type and entry purpose. But if you want to stay longer like 30 days, i suggest the E-visa application. 😁

Hello Blessveth, for 5days kung on a budget baka kayanin naman ng 5k-6k more or less. mag bus naman kayo kaya mura nmn pamasahe than airfare. Sa accoms/hotel, 1000-1500 per night php okay na okay na ung makukuha nyo nyan. Sa food/transpo mura din kumpara sa Pinas.

It is true Dr. Spock! hehehe no negative covid test result needed when you enter Vietnam(immigration). But double check with the airline you're using for your flight, they might still require it.

Hello Roanne,i tried just now, u can use email adress to register and it worked. It sent verification code to my email. I haven't tried other sim(international sim) but let me know if it works so we can help others too. I suggest for u to include area code when u use ur UAE number. Anyway i used my VN number to register before. You can also buy sim here once you are in Vietnam, but i guess you'll be needing to do health declaration before leaving immigration/airport.

I called the Embassy and was advised that for tourists coming to Vietnam, the health declaration is to be done before leaving origin airport (once boarding pass is available as seat number is required). I was advised my UAE number can be used (roaming not required). I will see and update you.

yeah you have a point, most tourists are also asking for a 3 month visa but government is still adjusting for the new normal. Nonetheless, it's been a great news that Vietnam has relaxed its restrictions and requirements to boost tourism this yr ☺will update you once they extend it again!
Yes. You can get 6 months visa. I got my 6 months visa through travel agency and not online. I will cost $70. Plus travel agency fee instead of $$25

Eligible po ang Pinas for Visa on Arrival yes for 21 days only. pero kung gusto mo ng 30 days, evisa nlng po apply kayo sa website na nilagay ko. para less hassle na din sa immigration sa Pinas and dito sa Vietnam. Mura lng po dito accommodation, like as low as 500-1000php. try mo din sa Agoda mg hanap hotel, di nmn po ma traffic dito so di nmn kailangan super malapit pa sa airport accoms nyo, makatipid na din kayo sa pamasahe, i reco District 1 and District 3 po para malapit lng sa mga tourist attractions. cost per day depende sa pupuntahan nyo yung mga entrance fee nmn nasa mga 50-200php, sa food mura lng din, baka 500 php per person per day, sobra na yun hehe.

Help. Is the rapid test 24 hours before arriving on Vietnam or before getting on the airplane. My flight with layovers is going to be about 48 hours. If I get the rapid test will it expire before I am half way across the ocean. What do I do???
It is before arriving in Vietnam, so i suggest for you to get PCR test that is valid 72 hours.
@@enafrancia I checked and PCR test is dated the day you take it, you do not get results for a week over 72 hours it expires before I get on the airplane. I am supposed to get married. WE have been waiting over 2 years. My Visa is good for 30 days and my flight is $1,400 and non refundable.
@@bboomermike2126 usually PCR test takes 6 up to 24 hrs max. You can message the airline/airport where you'll have your layovers and ask if they have testing centers. They may help you with that problem.
@@enafrancia Maybe in Vietnam it takes 6 to 24 hours but in California it takes over 5 days. They have testing in Haneda but the instructions are all in Japanese. I have 6 weeks to figure this out. I only need to get the rapid test in Tokyo.

That does not make sense. Very possible that they lied to you to make some extra money from hiring someone to make a visa for you.
Hello Rachid, try applying e-visa online, most foreigners now come in Vietnam with evisas. You can ask them about it once your visa is approved.

It would be nice if people who've entered on 30 day evisas could renew in country instead of a costly visa run. I'm not sure what the rationale is. Instead of buying a ticket to Thailand or Cambodia fir a visa run, I'd rather spend the money here, where I'm happy.

hi kao, sorry for my late reply, so far no restrictions for now. please be guided if your country is eligble for evisa/ visa exemption, that's what you mainly need for now.
I think you might be mistaken about the negative test requirements, everything I have read said the test must be taken 72hrs before departure, not 72hrs before arrival.

Not true, I'm in Australia and I'm going to Viet next week. Just have to have a negative PCR at the airport and then as of 18 April there is no testing requirements to re-enter.
