Thank you for very informative video. We are sailing around Thailand,Malaysia, now going to Indonesia-Sabang and hopefully we will visit Vietnam in coming year too. When travelling by boat visas are the biggest problem..we like places,we would stay longer, spend more money..but we are limited because of visas policy.
Very helpful information. It was really great news from the Vietnamese government for Malaysians to change to 45 days instead of 30. I intend to explore some investment opportunities in Danang and really appreciate these changes. I expect these changes will also give a great boost to the tourism industry, especially in Danang.
brilliant improvement and yet another superb video Ken, seriously helpful.
Thanks 👍
Great video Ken! Hope to see the USA on this list soon.
Thank you for the UPDATE !!!
Our pleasure!
Thank you that’s very clear
Wow this is incredible news! Thanks for making the video - I am planning to arrive there in November!
Glad it was helpful!
Your information is very helpful
Thank you for this information, your presentations are done extremelly well and very helpful
Glad you like them!
Very informative thank you.
Great News to hear
Always interesting. Keep doing........
❤❤❤ great news, will invest in Vietnam
Very Good information, Thanks 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for sharing.
So happy you have new roles. I arrived here 8/8 in old roles. I will be back
Cam on ban Ken. Great to know that as tourists, Malaysians can now stay in Vietnam for 45 days instead of 30 effective 15th August 2023! Very helpful information. Thanks again.
Absolutely
Thank you sir
Thanks for the update!! I will definitely consider Vietnam for retirement.
You should!
Thank y bro
Great video Ken along with great information long time follower here since beginning of your channel
Awesome, thank you!
Vietnam should go digital . All visas and documents need to be stamped and physical. Many countries don't even require you to provide your passport in order to issue you a visa and PDF copies of documents are enough for everything.
太愛太愛這首歌,不經不覺已經分別了一年
You can also have 5 years visa , most Vietnamese expat oversea who often go home visit family they paid 5 year visa , each visit can stay as long as they like . My brother retired in VN from Australia 6 -7 months a year . You need to go to Vietnamese travel agent to buy airline ticket , they will do all the visa work for you no hassle no extra charge .
Correct. The Vietnam passport is better though.
How will the multi entry work? At the moment, you must nominate entry and exit ports. Will it be needed to state any entry ports at all on the multiple entry application, and for example if you leave Vietnam 3 times in the 3 months, you are able to return ( for example) once through Hanoi, Danang and Saigon? Cheers
Great news, they are many better countries, you even not need a visa, by the it's even not a E visa it's a $25 income, better they but a counter to entry points where pay $ 25,but I think something stuck in Vietnam
*As a Canadian married to a Thai lady we been to Vietnam 3 times since 2017 and hope to return. If you ever thought about going to Vietnam, Just do it. It is a stunning country. Thanks for the update*
yah we want travel but problem is Vietnam guys are very very lazy, long time a go all world visa policy back to normal but still vietnam Authorities taking nap and do nothing still think 3 month visa yes or no .that's why im in Philippines instead of Vietnam
@@avatv5they are busy to work on corruption 😢
@@avatv5 Wherever you go, you have to follow the culture there. In Vietnam, napping is normal and working hours are available everywhere, especially in state agencies. good luck
With the multi-entry visa, do you need to always enter and exit through the entry gate and/or exit gate that you have on your visa application?
👍 Thank you, Ken
You are very welcome
Okay. Some good info. Why not tell us how much for 30 day visa? Surely that's important info.
This is fantastic news and single handedly takes care of all my retirement dilemmas. Was looking at Thailand to retire in the next 3 years and they make it near impossible to do so without having truck loads of cash rotting in a bank account. 90 days at a time and multiple entry fixes everything for me. Mind you the infrastructure in Vietnam is lagging but I'll adjust. Thx for sharing this great news !
It is indeed a great news. Though, we need to mention that the system will not let abuse itself. We expect on average 4 issuances in a row before getting denied. The 90-day e-visa is not a long-term solution to living in Vietnam. If you want to live long term in Vietnam, there are alternatives. But all require financial capabilities.
@@duongglobalbusinessconsulting Such a good explanation! Thank you
I used to live in Vietnam for 5 years. I got trapped in Bali during covid. Now I'm looking to leave...go back to Vietnam. I didn't like the current visa in Vietnam. Stupid! So now I'm pretty sure I will go to another country...probably Thailand. Maybe go to Vietnam after the new rules. Maybe I will use your company in the future. Thanks for the video.
Hi, I will be visiting Vietnam in November 2023 from the US. I will first flight to Thailand on November 5th and then the next day November 6th flight to Hanoi. Can I apply for the e-visa? Please help…
I visited Vietnam in 2014 and 2022. The visa in 2014 was a pain, I had to mail the applicaiton to Houston. In 2022 the E-Visa was a breeze to fill out and got in like 2 or 3 days. Really nice.
Tai sao lanh su quan o Sydney lay le phi visa cho single entry vao VN den 120 do Uc ?? Trong khi website lanh su quan VN chi de 20 do uc con eVisa chi co 25 do my, nho anh check lai tai sao co su khac biet
Great video Ken! I have a question. As an American arriving in Vietnam August 11, I'll need an e-visa (I then plan on continuing to Thailand for a few days before returning to Vietnam on August 23). Will I need a second e-visa, or will the new laws be in effect for US citizens? Is August 15 a set in stone date? Cam on!
Absolutely.
Hi, just wandering exemption visa can multi entry or just single entry?
Thank you for informative and interesting video. Perhaps you can shed light on the use of ASEAN driving license in Vietnam? The Thai license is in English just as an IDP has English. IDP does not have Vietnamese language thus I do not understand why Viet wants an IDP despite having an ASEAN license. Also pre-covid there was a Viet 1 year multiple entry tourist visa for US citizens.
Have you watched our video about driver's license in Vietnam? ruclips.net/video/BwmUzL6vixw/видео.html
I have a spanish passport and I'm going to travel to Vietnam for 17 days. Does it mean I do not need to apply for any visa at all?
Great vid! Has the govt put a price on the 90 day e-visa for Americans?

I wish Vietnam allows foreigner to get bank account and bank card even without a one-year long visa, this could be much easier for foreigner to get Vietnam banking facilities access. Just like in Thailand and Hong Kong, non-resident allowed to get local banking access.
I have been traveling to Vietnam for many years. I opened a bank account a HSBC bank without an issue.
@@Wesna269 appreciate your information. I will try it next time
HSBC, korean Shinhan bank...etc in vietnam... u can open them too and use it easily
Hi Ken,
Wonderful and informative video. As a Canadian can I receive a 90 day multiple entry visa
Yes, absolutely
How can i apply for 90 days visa?thanks😊
Can I travel to Vietnam with a tourist visa ,then if I have a company to work with, can the company change my visa to a work permit, sir please help me,I'm a teacher in my country cameroon and I want to travel to Vietnam to teach .how can I go about the information please help me
I made this video on my channel weeks ago
I am an United States citizen, applied and received e-visa in June for a November trip. I understand it remains under old rules, 30-days, single entry. Just present it to Vietnam customs? Nothing else even if it's the old format, correct? First trip to Vietnam.
Correct.
If American had 5 years VN Visa, do they have to leave VN every 90 days and come back to VN? Or can they stay in VN as long as they want and within 5 years VN Visa? Thank you.
Fantastic tips in the video. Can UK passport holders under 45 days visa free period make multiple entries to Vietnam from neighbouring countries (like Cambodia, Thailand etc)? Thanks in advance
Yes, they can.
Hi this is great thank you. But can you confirm do a British passport holder need a visa? How long can we stay if we don’t need a visa?? Thank you so much. I’m so looking forward to coming to Vietnam this year.
We confirm what our Attorney said in the video. 45-day visa exemption.
Before pandemic you could get 15 day free after staying 15 days out of Vietnam. With 45 days free, how long one must wait abroad to get another 45 days?
A month.
Did I get this right: As a Finnish citizen, I could travel to Vietnam without applying visa for 45 days, insteadt of 15 days, starting 15th of August?
Correct.
@@duongglobalbusinessconsulting SUPER news 👍
For the 90 days Multiple Entry Visas, how strict is the VN immigration in regards to visa runs? Can you live in VN indefinitely by doing 90 day visa runs now?
No, we need to mention that the system will not let abuse itself. We expect on average 4 issuances in a row before getting denied. The 90-day e-visa is not a long-term solution to living in Vietnam. If you want to live long term in Vietnam, there are alternatives. But all require financial capabilities.
VN immigration is the worst on earth. You must be stupid to think you can keep getting 90 day visas back to back over and over. Maybe 1 per year would be allowed. MAYBE. You think they don't see the stamps in your passport?
I’ve got my evisa granted like months ago for my August trip for two weeks.
We don’t need any COVID’s tests anymore right?
Correct.
What about if you are married with a Vietnamese citizen?
the evisa is so annoying to get. This change is soooo much worse. Much prefer the visa on arrival option
Good morning Vietnam🤗 I received my visa September 1. I can’t go to Vietnam until September 29. Is this ok? My visa is for 90 days. I’m entering a month late. Thank you for your informative video.💥
Yes, of course
Thank you so much@@duongglobalbusinessconsulting
What website do you recommend to apply for the e-Visa? Cheers.

Ken i want to apply for a 90 day evisa. Arrive on the 16th of August, i am from the US . Thanks
Hello, please inform your personal detail via our Fanpage: facebook.com/duongbusinessconsulting
Ok i was planning to visit Vietnam in march 2024. But i was discouraged by what i read in vietnamese embassy in canada webpage. " after payment, no grantee to e visa, passport physically has to be maild etc"
......so how can you help candian in e-visa for to a 15 days stay.
Please send us an email and we will help you.
Sorry Ken, the reciprocity is a BS excuse for why US and Canada need a visa. Vietnamese need a visa to enter the UK, but yet the UK passport holder is on the Vietnam visa free list. Take Thailand for example, they got it right allowing most westerners to enter w/o visa and that's why Bangkok is the 2nd most visited city in the world after Hong Kong. And yes Thai still need visa to enter the US. The amount of tourist dollars spent in Vietnam far outweigh the money collected from the visa fee. Vietnam missed an opportunity on this one.
Stay in Bangkok. It´s their country and their rules, they sure do it with a reason, it´s probably not to your likings so stay where you feel confortable. End the story.
I absolutely agreed with you on this point.
Vietnam wants the money for a Visa…Easy Cash Cow. 😂
@@robroy5215 easy cash cow? Versus the cash cow lost in those deciding not to travel because of the inconvenient of obtaining one? Funny guy…
@@nguyenhoang8547 Inconvenient??? 2-3 days?? 😂😂.
STILL.....no retirement visa.
As much as I would like to retire to Vietnam this is probably a good thing. Foreigners retiring in Vietnam would make the major centers even more unaffordable for the local people than they are now. For example, look at the cost of living in Hồ Chí Minh compared to most of the rest of Vietnam and then throw in thousands of foreigners buying up or renting properties.
@@frederickclause2694 not really , most retiree are going to the country side where better life , less hassle and also helping local economy and very friendly local peoples welcome visitors , why have to stay in HCM where pollution , dirty , hookers , drugs and plenty crimes gangs . I’m Vietnamese I know my country.

Hello, thanks for the information. I am a Myanmar passport holder and planning to travel in and out of Ho Chi Minh from 20th August till 3rd of September. (That is the only available flight we were able to buy). Will I be able to get a 45 days exemption? Because if not my travel days are probably counted to be total 15 days (1 day extra than current 14 days exemption).
Yes, you will get 45-day visa exemption from August 15.
I just received an e-visa for a visit in October. Would it still be considered single entry?
Absolutely.
Just applied, received my approval letter & it looks like it’s only good for 15 days (only visiting for 4 days anyway). My question is, I missed adding my son’s middle name when I applied for e-visa 😣. Will I need to reapply? I’m still waiting for his visa approval. Should I wait or do it now? Thanks in advance.
You can reapply now.
I filled in the online formulaire for obtaining a 90 days eVisa, but the formulaire only accepted maximum 30 days eVisa, even though I would enter Vietnam at the end of August.
I hope they update the systems soon, so that we can get 90 days eVisa.
I have a Visa exemption Visa. For 5 years And was told today that the next time I go to Vietnam i also need a e-visa did that change as well
That is incorrect. If you have a valid Visa exemption, you do NOT need an e-visa. That defies the purpose of having a 5-year visa exemption, otherwise.
My evisa is approved this month (Oct 2023). I'm going on a cruise. Can I enter & exit any seaport borders instead of the borders when I did my application.
When I applied I used entry Hai Phong seaport & exit Ho Chi Minh seaport. Now, Celebrity informed me that entry is Hon Gai seaport & exit is Vung Tau seaport. (My evisa paper doesn't have entry/exit listed)
Is it a multiple entry e-visa?
This is a single entry e-visa.
I found this online but not sure it's correct.
After 15th August, 2023: Vietnam evisa is accepted through 42 international borders (airport, landport and seaport). Entry and exit port are not mentioned in the evisa paper this means that you can use the Vietnam evisa at any International border gates.
Then you should get a new one that reflects the accurate entry and exit.
👍
It's today! Is it on yet? :D the page still hasn't been updated :O
Yes!
Is it possible to get a 90day tourist visa by Aug. 19? If so, how much are all charges?
Given it usually takes 3 to 5 business days to get it issued, it would be possible if all provided information are valid. However, a more plausible timeframe would be from August 18 to August 22. If you want to prebook it now, feel free to email us for more information.
Can I apply for the 90 days Visa if I am from Spain? Thank you very much in advance

Hi,
tx for this info.
I stuck in unique case, i am travelling in Vietnam at 24th aug. I have already got visa but in passport, given names has mine name(first name) + my father name, in ICAO line it also have surname+ mine name + father name. So based on the website i added the same format in evisa and it got approved as well. Now, boarding pass will only have surname and first name and visa will have full name so it will create any conflict?
I have also uploaded my passport pic in new portal, its also taking given name as first name+ father name so there will be any issue?
Please reply....
Not an issue.

Hi good morning! I would like to apply for this Vietnam e- visa, I am from Philippines.Pls help me
How much do we need to prepare to acquire a 90 days visa?
Anybody who can answer from Atty.Duong's office?
If i get get a evisa now, and then visit after august 15, will i still get 90 days?
No.
I am from Turkey
We had to get a c1 visa to enter the country. For this, visa companies had to pay us about +100 dollars on top of the e-visa fee. Is this still valid so I don't want to pay for it, just because I don't want to use your country even for transit! Currently there are still sites that demand this , is this legal ? Do we have to pay $100 just for an invitation letter written by someone from Vietnam?
If I only knew these high prices, I would never have flown to Vietnam, so I plan to stay in your country for 9 days. The only reason for this is the policy your country has applied to us, so you don't even treat America like that, where you're fighting. I don't know if this is racism or if it is bribery, why are you discriminating against us?
I hope u can answer to me!
Can I enter dalat aiport with arrival visa? I am a us citizen.
No, it is no longer available.
Hi Mr ken I live in USA went back back to Vietnam in to get married had been 10 years now I want to get divorce how do I do it without having to go back to Vietnam
Hi Terry, please contact us via our Fanpage detail about your case: facebook.com/duongbusinessconsulting
America, Australia & Canada are first world countries. You cant expect us to have an easy entry for tourist as this will encourage overstaying & probably people working on a tourist visa. So it makes sense we have strong border security. Im suprised your government has a motto of " well we need a visa to your country, so like wise you have to have one too"
Thanks for your comment. It ultimately comes down to experience and knowledge. To take your example, US nationals do need an ETA to enter Australia, which can be compared to an e-visa (meaning electronic authorization to enter Australia). But that is besides the point, as immigration law does not need to follow any particular logic. Although, it would be nice to enter Vietnam without visa, being in another country is not a right, it is privilege. Vietnam is a sovereign nation and chooses who can cross its borders with or without visa regardless of any reason behind those policies. Other factors play a role, including past events. But those would take too long to narrate. And as a law firm, we can say that most illegal migrants who work in the U.S. do not even have tourist visas or any visas for that matter.
No need for a Visa…In the United States. Just come across the Southern Border. Like 6 million illegals from Mexico. 😂😂
I disagree. If there are 1 million illegal Mexicans in the USA and no effort to find and depart them, then Vietnamese should be allowed to freely enter the USA no visa until they also have 1 million illegals. Equality is what I ask for. Vietnamese are no threat to these developed countries, they're only a benefit. You can't even make a case that they're a threat, while with people involved in some sort of extremist ideological groups (Islam) you might be able to say there is a risk & qualification should be required, but something like Thais Vietnamese Colombians - hell no.
Just guessing, but maybe the reason the USA and Australians need to buy a visa, but the UK does not, is the UK did not join the American war in Vietnam.
Canada also didn’t join the war, maybe we will also get visa free privileges 😊
What is the best visa to travel to Vietnam
