It's such a cool new feature!
Btw. at 1:53 where you say "you have to do some trimming", you can actually avoid all of that (and the joining step too!) by just having all the relevant faces for the shape selected and then hitting Shift+D, which just makes a new curve of the outline for the selection. You can then just delete all the prior curves. It could maybe save you some time if there's a lot of fiddly trimming to do?

Cool Tip! Thanks. I knew there was an easier way to go about it, never explored how to do it

i did see that in the release-vid but had no idea at that point for what to use this feature, but this is great!

Never really know about the features until someone gives you a use for it.

Thats very nice, just noticed I gotta hover the mouse inside and between the curves. Otherwise the circle doesn't really pop up. Thx!

Great explanation. Btw, do you use "delete redundant topology" at 2:32?

Thanks. Not using delete redundant topology this time. I have a hot key to toggle edge visibility, so I can check surface flow and make sure there's no sharp transitions

@@Glenn3D1993 I see, thanks. I do it all the time but via the radial menu, a dedicated key might be work even better.
