America vs Russia artistry debate?? lol wtf American Olympic gymnasts since 2000 have had no artistry (apart from Mohini and Nastia). Though Jiang Yuyuan has better dance than most American and some Russian gymnasts, Anna Pavlova will always be the best :)
American gymnasts have the artistry of a dumptruck -- a bunch of crap hand waving and stupid gestures done poorly. The only exception was Nastia Liukin, but she's born in Russia, so we can see where she gets it from. To even attempt to compare American "artistry" with the ballet of the Russians is just pathetic. And as far as Jiang Yuyuan is concerned, she has great form and a nice toe point, but she does not compare to the Russian beauties.

IDK but China set really high difficult in the Uneven Bars and Balance Beam, USA had really big mistakes (also China had mistakes, but not that big), and Russia's team competition wasn't good (I really like russians but in the TF they hadn't a big time)
