Me, as a kid: "did he really snap over a tip?! What's his problem?"
Me, as an adult: "oh......"
Because his father is harassing him for tips.
@@eliottdeletraz97I’m sure it’s because the economy forces tips to be WAY more important than they’re supposed to be.
Heather
As a kid, I was like impressed by how far he went for a delivery. but as an adult, I look at it and I’m like five dollars for pizza more like thousands of dollars for a pizza. Considering how much travel time he had to do along with going all the way to the Arctic Circle that’s like yeah a lot of travel money. I know this is a cartoon, but as an adult I look at this and I’m like wow the writers run a lot of drugs back then. There should’ve been four morals of the story. There was only two the first one always tip your delivery driver second never blame the delivery driver. The third moral never except a delivery out of your local area only except it in your town not out of town out-of-state or out of country. Finally fourth but not least find yourself a job that’s not run by your jackass father. now I know I said this, but the third moral I mentioned the reason that up is because my friend went through the same problem. I used to work in a place in Boulder city, Nevada. One day we got this delivery to Lake Mead but the drive wasn’t at the lake on the Nevada side. It was on the Arizona side. The idiots that asked for a delivery didn’t even think this through at all. Despite the mistake, these idiots did my friend had to go out and meet them and believe it or not. He was pissed by the time he was back home.
One thing this cartoon thought me from a young age is that customers are ungrateful no matter how hard you try
And yet, they're "always right".
@@SomePkmnlovingdude well what do you expect?? They think they’re the best thing to ever happen to the world.
After getting tip baited on Uber Eats, I feel Pizza Boy's pain.
That polar bear DID asked for no anchovies and there was barely anything left of the pizza..
Yup! I work in a grocery store and I know first hand
From the time pizza boy gets in the car to arriving at the igloo, the delivery takes him 3 minutes 25 seconds. Yes, I timed it.
There’s so much yelling in this cartoon
@@Dylan-pv3mh you said it
HE DESERVED A TIP
I wanna see him get that mileage!!!
That’s a new record!
Seriously, I feel bad for the Pizza boy, he went through tons of crazy stuff so I don’t blame him for going crazy like that
le pizza tower
If this was literally a thing, he should’ve been given thousands of dollars beyond that the pizza delivery should’ve been probably a lot more than was offered five bucks. Yeah, logically I would’ve charged a little higher. I would charge may be thousands of dollars for that. I mean to travel all the way to the arctic circle. Yeah that doesn’t work like that five minutes or less. Maybe these people who did the short we’re on a lot of cocaine thought oh you know what no one’s gonna care notice well yeah apparently people with a brain, especially children would know that. I mean I saw this when I was probably maybe eight or nine years old and I was like yeah that is not how it works. Another reason why is because I’ve gone places through planes across the country and especially going overseas to Europe to visit relatives and there’s no way in hell five minutes or less exist unless you have teleportation. But it’s just a cartoon and the short is the reason why it never became a series although the animation looks very similar to cow and chicken, so that could be reasonably understandable. They leave only two morals in there such as number one always tip your delivery driver number two never blamed the driver for an order that’s wrong. The other two are morals that should’ve been in. Third moral should’ve been never except a delivery out of your local area, such as out of your town out of state and out of country. The fourth moral jack ass father ever in your life.
Fifth moral: always secure your pizza in a PIZZA BAG
Also..You mean.... never work for your jack ass father ever in your life?
I’ll bet Pizza Boy’s voice actor must’ve worn himself out big time with all that maniacal screaming and laughing in that recording booth!
Lol right
Polar bear says “hold the anchovies”. Manager shoots anchovies on pizza anyway..😂😂
I don’t think he heard him on the phone or anybody paid attention to him🤣🤣🤣
😂😂
Hold the anchovies? Imma LOAD you up, boi.
But the Anchovies didn't even stick onto the Pizza; did the Bear detect the smell?
1:56: (Freeze frame a shot where the Pizza is about to be put in the oven, and another shot where the Pizza is put in the box) Oh wait... WHERE'S THE CONSISTENCY!?!

5:04 I just love that sound effect
nostalgic hit me so hard
I remember watching this cartoon so many times as a kid. It still holds up lol
I watched this as kids and passed it as fun. Now 20+ years later this is DARK!
Yeah this whole thing was done by someone I mean as a kid it’s funny but now looking at it as an adult you’re like wow this was definitely created by someone on meth along with crack and various types of drugs. Also considering the fact that it was around the 90s and they were delivering a pizza all the way to the Arctic Circle in less than four minutes that is not possible even around that time. Yes you can teleport this kid has to literally drive or fly all the way to his destination in four minutes that’s not possible I’m pretty sure adults if they saw this where their kids were like OK that is definitely stupid. Saw online that the moral of the whole shorts was always leave a tip and any order mishaps delays not the drivers fault. They forgot Never except an order that’s out of your local area especially out of the country unless you’re charging thousands of dollars it’s not worth delivering a pizza for five dollars all the way to the Arctic Circle not possible.
@@NuevoExistence All I said was this was done by someone on crystal meth crack and various types of drugs incredibly stupid along with realization that no one can deliver a pizza all the way up to the Arctic Circle unless they can teleport even in a cartoon like this people would still call the stupid. Delivering an order like that all the way to the Arctic Circle five dollars is not worth the trip for that cost I would’ve charged double but even so, knowledge you should only except an order in your local area that’s one of the third morals they forgot to add online. Plus I do agree with what you said about this being disturbing so at the very least we have a common understanding for that
@@monkeycat48 yeah it's a cartoon bro. You ain't supposed to apply logic
@@wackozackoyt Yeah well that’s why this never became a series that’s all
@@NuevoExistence OK I don’t know where religion came into this? I never brought religion to this but I’ll say this you sound like you’re on a ton of meth so yeah I’m done talking you need to find a way to get clean
"I said no anchovies!"
Sorry, we didn't hear you say that. You weren't shouting at the top of your lungs.
This was literally stupid there is a forgotten moral to this whole thing one don’t except an order that’s not in your local area
@Monkey Cat ofc its stupid, its a Cartoon dude
@@larajanesen8795 With the same animation from the people who created cow and chicken I guess I’m not surprised that this is one of their failed shorts before cow and chicken became their main show along with I am weasel combined. Although I don’t think they’re the first ones to ever attempt to try and build so many shorts before finally getting show established. The creator of Rick and Morty he literally made so many animated shorts that were like way before Rick and Morty was finally picked because some of the shorts were seen as by the network to be extremely disgusting lack of any sort of understanding along with even toilet humor being added in there too much before finally he had success and two shows Rick and Monty solar opposites
1:45: Technically, the Bear did say “hold the Anchovies”, meaning it’s a no on anchovies. 5:36
@@monkeycat48 state of your replies
The morale of this story is to make sure you tip your delivery boy (Especially if you live a really remote place) or he will most likely gut your insides like a fish.
Another morale of the story:
Secure your PIZZA in a
PIZZA BAG so you don't show up with a HALF-EATIN BOX
5:58 COME HERE, WHALE-BOY, I'M GOING TO MAKE YOU A NEW BLOWHOLE!! **attacks the Ice Climbers and the polar bear**
I'm just here because of that incident where that Domino's employee was throwing a meltdown over not getting a tip in St. Petersburg, Florida
When cartoons were good! Loved this so much! It always made me hungry lol.
Long live the 90s! 😍
This "What a cartoon" series was actually meant to be a throwback to earlier cartoons. Wikipedia says:
"The project consisted of 48 cartoons, intended to return creative power to animators and artists, by recreating the atmospheres that spawned the iconic cartoon characters of the mid-20th century."
In this case...the animation here (when it's not going 100 mph) resembles early 60s rocky and Bullwinkle style cartoon. Even the production quality resembles that
Peppino Spaghetti's teenage years.
This short looked Ren & Stimpy-styled.
More like...games animation Ren and stimpy style...go watch.."in the army" the scene when ren implodes from sleep deprivation and compare it to pizza boy right before he beats up the priest. Their implosions are similar
I don't blame Pizza boy losing it for not getting paid to go through hell just to deliver a pizza.
True but killing someone is not the answer. Now he has paid the price being in jail.
@@rstein926 Not to justify it but he was bound to snap after all that crap he went through. He even made it on time.
At situations ya bound to go off
This was made by someone on crystal meth and crack Along with many drugs it goes to show this is why the show never made it through to become an animated series I mean for god sake’s everybody on there is not redeemable they’re all angry psychotic monsters. I had a friend who went through a similar story like this only now he lives in Boulder city Nevada who got a call to go bring pizzas to lake mead but however it wasn’t in Nevada it was actually on the other side of the lake in Arizona of course the people that order the pizza from his job paid a huge amount for the pizzas they didn’t even tell them they were in Arizona. The only lesson this short does say is don’t except a pizza delivery unless it’s in the local area not out of the country or you know so on and so forth I would’ve charge double if I was going to deliver a pizza to the Arctic like thousands of dollars but even so that’s like not even worth it. Whoever saw this was like wow this is so stupid you have to be at the Arctic Circle in five minutes when even in those times that’s not even possible and it’s still not possible to be there in five minutes unless you teleport but that’s even dumb this whole entire cartoon was made by people on a ton of drugs.
I blame the father for abusing and forcing him to get tips
this explains Peppino's origins
this was insane. it's about a guy who tries to deliver a pizza and then murders a family. how did i not notice that when i was a kid

I love how they complain on how theyres ansjovis on there. But dont say a word about the fact that theres almost no pizza anymore
I guess they’re pretending there’s stuff on them but then again I’m not the one who wrote this shit someone on meth and various other drugs made this
Like as if they expected it... perhaps why her husband stocked up on blubber everything
What a Cartoon intro theme 's got me really pumped up as a kid! haha, still the best serie
I love Robert Alvarez.
Yeah it was cool back then now not so much.
I gotta admit, I feel bad for the pizza boy in this cartoon. Besides him having such and abusive father, bro almost broke his spine traveling across the country just to get a tip and he delivered it under five minutes. And after all that not even a single penny from those selfish customers even if the pizza is half eaten. And his dad calls him an idiot when blud just put anchovies in the pizza when the polar bear says no
Fun fact: The guy who directed this cartoon also directed the episodes for Swat Kats.
Guy knows where the action is at 😋
He also directed Tumbleweed Tex and worked on the PowerPuff Girls.
I timed it with my stopwatch, and it took him 3 minutes and 26 seconds to make that delivery. But he still didn't get his tip despite that he made it on time...
That’s because the pizza was half eaten, horribly damaged and had a topping they didn’t want on it.

Same here
I wish Cartoon Network would go back to this.
All the creative people there were fired.
Let’s hope not
Literally Pizza Tower before Pizza Tower
The Moral of this Episode is ''Always Tip your Pizza Delivery Man''. LOL!!!
There’s a second moral to this that involves never blamed the pizza delivery man for mistakes. However, that should’ve been for morals, the other two. Number three never except a delivery order that’s not within your town area, such as never except an order out of town out of state out of the country. Number four never go work for your horrible father.
@@monkeycat48yeah thanks for the moral, you’ve already chatterboxed the other comment

6:50 shouldn't take the crazy pizza boy delivery to mental hospital and put him on straight jacket.because he crazy for a tip
The guys stressing about a light in the beginning and he's gotta go all the way to the arctic. That's how inside humor was back then. Also I always cracked up to this line 5:58
That sentence was kinda sus by the way
"Come here, whale boy. I'm gonna make your new blow hole".
He's gonna get into trouble
Well... apparently he did..
So surreal watching this again, likely over 20 years since I last saw it. I remember 0:26 where he was looking at the pizza so well. His crazy face at the end truely frieghtens me and I remember I felt exactly the same as a kid watching that.
The pizza boy's dad probably just let his idiot son rot in the Arctic Circle prison for being such a screw-up and was probably put in a restraint jacket and in solitary confinement for going all psycho on an inmate.
That was a priest.
@@jamescampbell6724 Still, the pizza boy was probably put in a restraining jacket and in solitary confinement for going all psycho in him.
If his dad knew his son was in prison, he’d probably visit just to say “you’re fired”.
Father O'Brien was shaken by the experience and did not come back for a while until Pizza Boy was restrained in solitary confinement. Things went more smoothly after Father O'Brien requested help from the prison psychiatrist upon learning about Pizza Boy's backstory.
This cartoon is far better with Pizza Tower sound effects and music over it
Those were some humble beginnings for him
True
It reminds me of the original version of pizza tower
Man, I remember this short with Dexter's Lab & Powerpuff girls (before they became their own shows)

Never work with, or especially for, your Dad. That's the moral.
There’s actually only two there should be at least four. The first moral is always tip your delivery driver. Second moral should be never blame the delivery driver for the order being wrong. Third Moral never except a delivery from out of your local area especially if it’s in another town another state or another country. Fourth moral never work with or especially for your dad.👍👍👍
And the 5th is to make sure you tip the pizza boy or you’ll have the same fate as those 2 mountain climbers and polar bear
And 6th....always secure your pizza in a PIZZA BAG
Pizza tower
Come Here Blubber Man. LOL!!!
Can't believe they STOLE the name pizzaboy for pizza tower - 🤓
"Hey, Fry. Pizza goin out. COME OOOOOOONNNNNN!"
Hello
That Pizza Boy Delivery was crazy and madness without no tip!😵💫🍕
Not only that but five minutes all the way to the freaking arctic circle logically that’s not possible along with the fact that delivery is making should’ve been charged. I would say thousands of dollars transferred it even give this guy a much higher tip than what he was going to get White. You should’ve gotten thousands of dollars. The morals of the story say always tip a delivery driver never blamed the driver for the wrong order. There should’ve been two more morals added such as never except a delivery order from out of your local town area, state and country. I mean common sense that know what you do that. And I also don’t work for your father, who is a conniving jackass the way we saw him in the start of the short. Now as a kid, this looks funny in a way, but then well I’m not gonna lie, but even as a kid, I kind of look at this like yeah there’s no way in hell you can deliver a pizza in five minutes or less all the way to the Arctic Circle and I was only eight years old when I saw this. Considering the fact that I actually went over seas for the first time in my life to France flying yeah those long hours trying to get across the Atlantic all the way to France. Yeah really just tell you five minutes or less doesn’t exist.
6:32 tip? tip?! Tip!? DID YOU SAY TIP!?!

The precursor to Pizza Tower!
Watching this again decades later, after having been a server for two and a half years… it hits different lmao
This reminds me of Pizza Tower
My Review: The first part's dialogue is just screaming at first. This predicted the future of companies that they wil overwork employees for there own well being with not much pay. This man feels like Spongebob with how deticaded he is to his job with his awful Domino's manager. This wacky cartoon about Pepinno Spaghetti makes me feel for the main character especially the girl who did not tip him because NO BLUBBER on the pizza but i though she was sick of blubber! Also PEPPINO SPAGHETTI!!!!!!!!!! 10/10!
Lets see I believe the acceptable tip was 15% back then. So for a $5 pizza that would be 75 cents . After all the crap this guy went through to get that pizza to them, and they refuse to shell out a measly 75 cent tip they were pretty much asking for a harpoon to the face.
As a former pizza delivery driver I can confirm this is how we all react to not getting a tip
Peppino Spaghetti lore:
the delivery lasted three minutes because he went as fast as he can
