Was very useful for my Halloween vampiress costume last year. Needed to remember to walk slowly with small steps. I had everyone's attention:)
It can help with any volumes skirt!
Came back to this tutorial for a reminder this past Halloween. Definitely needed a refresher:)
Thank you! I have prom next week and my dress is bigger than two people - I have nowhere to practice walking in it but this will have helped a ton! I can't imagine ruining it :(
Glad it helps! I'm sure it looked stunning!

Thank you for this! My prom is tomorrow and my dress is floor length!
I Need to practice this my wedding gown very heavy

Am I the only one who keeps daydreaming her wedding from a young age?

Yes. ;o)

I’m 13, why am I here? I don’t even like dresses!
@@coodoritos bc you decided to watch it!
*kick while you walk*
oh.. so that's how Cinderella lost her slippers.
On that note, wear ankle strap shoes, preferably wedges for convenient walk. Cinderella didn’t know better🤓
If you're wearing a hoop skirt, don't kick, or it's going to sway.
Hoop skirt is a life saver. But usually wedding gowns are not for hoop skirt at all. It’s more stage costumes exaggerated look.
So you are right, but it’s irrelevant for bridal wear.
I was looking g for diys on hoop skirt but found this. great video!
So many brides I am working with loved it:) Share it, girls need to know!
Me a tomboy ( who cried in a gown last time looking at the mirror because it didn't suit my personality, I was so uncomfortable emotionally.) Watching this video 😃 👍 so helpful

Very helpful.
You are welcome! Share with your girlfriends, help the bride to walk the walk!
I would enjoy wearing this dress and hoop petticoat.
Some prefer no petticoats at all, especially hoop ones, that considered to be mostly for stage wear. But even regular petticoat helps caring the dress. I usually recommend it when dress slightly too long. But all the same rules apply for either way, and especially if the bride doesn't like too much volume in the skirt and has no under skirts.
Thank you, for your insight and I agree with you.
Your response is appreciated. I am an occasional crossdresser, who loves the most feminine of female apparel/accessories. A heart isn't accessible from my end of the internet, so I gave you a like. Thank you so much!
You are welcome!

How can I get Muslim wedding gown
Restyling. Adding top with sleeves. You need a good tailor for that.
Shit. This legs are made for pants. Hope I won't fall on my face wearing a ball gown to an event tomorrow
I wish you luck!
where did you go?
so there is just one rule 'kick the dress' :p
No, two: also a hip movement. Thank you for your thoughtful input.
I'm getting married and my dress is a heavy ballgown, thanks now I know how to walk in it. But the question is.. how do I use toilet in it lol
I wore a large ball gown for Halloween. Was a vampiress. There was no modest way about it. Fortunately there was a handicap bathroom
Best undress and dress back after.
Rule #1 get the damned dress hemmed to the proper length!
I do that in my alteration shop for many brides, but some people don't have availability to do that. Also, with excessively puffy skirt even proper length falls lower and eventually can trip you. Your comment doesn't have educated value:/
I don't need much education to know that some brides fall in love with dresses that they can't afford to alter, wait to long to buy a dress that needs altering, or are too short for the gown they are wearing. The kick is a good tip, but a little common sense wouldn't come amiss.
@@abigailgerlach5443 This tutorial is designed for people in immediate need, and so far, I've got many thanks and appreciation. While I agree that correct hem should work fine, those tricks are still useful even then. If you read 19th century books, they describe things like "kick the skirt with her heel of the shoe" etc - lost art of wearing long and layered garments. I alter bridal gowns daily for the past too many years, and some girls have little experience with high heel and long puffy skirt - they are happy to get any help. So, this tutorial got enough sense to exist.
ooohhhh thank yooou!
