Bella's obsession with this dress has paid off. The more she makes it the more beautiful it is. I have seen all the versions and I hope that it is already the last version, because I expect much more period dresses from her.
I see how the hooks really kept everything in place. That is a stunning achievement! 1000 yards of ruffles……..it is a perfect ball gown. Thank you for sharing this project with us.
Been here since the beginning and I am in tears. Everything was just stunning. The movement, the transition. The glimpse of the dance. Everything was perfect. I hope Lily James and Sandy Powell get to see this 😁
I wish people had the courage and good taste to actually show up attired this beautifully at public events like dinners and the theater / symphony and so forth.
I think this dress is actually more beautiful than the movie version, because I know it’s real, it’s a real dress with no stage shortcuts or cinematic touch ups. I’ve watched every video in this series as it’s come out and I am in total awe of you.
Pretty sure part of the appeal of recreating this dress was because it wasn't made with a ton of short cuts for the film either. Bella talked a lot about figuring out what tools/fabric/patterns and whatnot to use based on what the real dress would have used in order to do what it did/based on interviews!
This dress is absolutely magical. The way it moves is incredible. And, having watched the entire series...the sheer amount of work you've put into this dress boggles my mind. And how you've solved all the problems...so very impressive. But the effect is entirely worth it, you've made magic. Great job!
Is it difficult to stop twirling in this dress because I would never stop twirling. This is so glorious and ugh, the movement in those layers! I am literally sitting with my hands clasped with a big ol' smile and actual heart eyes. It is exquisite. You should feel so proud! It's incredible.
This is by far the most beautiful version of the Cinderella gown, that I have seen on RUclips. One of the things I always notice when people are making gowns are how well they are fitted. And this is just wonderful. Beautiful work:)
EDIT: I need to postpone the dance video until further notice due to a copyright issue. It's coming, it's just a bit later that I hoped/planned for! I'm SO SORRY! The FULL DANCE video is coming next week! 🎉 This just gave a little bit of a tease...stay tuned!
THE SPARKLES ARE INCREDIBLE! That shot of you running away into the night, and the last thing you can see are the sparkles twinkling...breathtaking ❤️❤️❤️
Ahhhh! This looks AMAZING! I can't believe you actually got the same hypnotic movement in the skirt that the original had. I seriously thought the movie might have been using CGI to get some of that effect. Also, the amount of engineering that went to this dress is genuinely impressive.
Yes, mam u did toooooo much excellent work..I m a small indian designer.. nd nd my dream is to make beautiful gown like this.... bt i m fresher in this field.. some time I don't know about the material ,used for this type outfit...
The development of your skills from four years ago, wow - look out for the next four!! But I'm trying to think what could possibly top this immaculate replica of Cinderella's ball gown... Definitely anticipating tears of wonder & nostalgia when I see your dance scene x
I usually don't comment much but...this is so breakthtakingly stunning. Not only the hard work that's gone into the process, but the final product is incredible. I hope you feel so so proud of what you have made
oh wow… i’ve been OBSESSED with the making process of this dress and my goodness! it’s not even my dress and it’s everything i was hoping it would be and more😭
Congratulations, Bella ! This premiere was magical. I remember, when the Cinderella movie came out, how mesmerised I was watching this beautiful work of art on screen. It was so hard to find informations about it at the time, let alone replicas. I think it was during the summer of 2016 when I found you on Etsy and Instagram ; you were twirling in these enormous petticoats, in a garden, and I thought "Alright ! Something incredible is happening in this lady’s atelier.” (I was so happy to see you comment under my replica, it was something about the first layer of the dress - the silk crepeline.) After a couple of years, you started uploading your Nutcracker Series and little by little, we could see more of your wonderful creations and thoughtful research - and overall great personality. It’s amazing to have creators like you on RUclips. Watching you create this gorgeous Cinderella gown was a fantastic experience (which my mother shared too, though neither of us are native English speaker - hence my terrible grammar.) This movie came out when I really needed to be remembered that the world can be a beautiful place and I cherish everything about it. Though it might be strange to word it like that, it changed my life in many ways. Thank you so much for sharing this adventure with us. It truly means the world and you look absolutely beautiful in your gown. A true Cinderella - or should I say Cinderbella. And your very own Fairy Godmother ! Looking forward to seeing your dance. Cheers to future adventures ! Lots of love. M.
I got completely engrossed in your adventure, and smiled and cried at the “lift” in the dance. Happy to hear it was just a teaser! You are a great inspiring artiste and craftsperson. Looking forward to the long dance video. Brava, Bella, bravissima!
the shots that are throught the falling and rippling yumissima fabric are so incredibly beutiful in a dreamlike way!!! really looking forward to the dancing video!!
What a lovely and beautiful gown you are wearing Bella(or should I say, your highness!)! It really melts my eyes everyone I see somebody wearing it. Anyways, I wish I could dance with someone wearing that pretty dress in a formal ball event.
Bella: "How do you go to the bathroom in it?" My stupid dad joke filled brain: "Very carefully". The finished look is stunning. And all the clasps are genius. I hope you're immensely proud of the work you put into this, it really shows. I started giggling uncontrollably once you got the petticoats on, it's that good. I'm glad it's just for you. I don't know how you could ever sell it. All the materials, the hours of physical labor and brain power you put into it, plus the love, care, and completely custom to you fit make it literally priceless in my opinion.
My thoughts, too! I'd save it as an heirloom or something. Definitely a treasured gown to wear every now and again, and a precious reminder of how far her skills have come.

This dress is EVERYTHING. I love all your work Bella! It's just stunning. STUNNING!
I love this channel because they have beautiful music that they play. I love how they create these costumes in a movie or a play. It’s spectacular to me. It’s wonderful. I wish I was in a play or in a movie like these people are doing.
Bella Mae, this dress is just magical. Sheer beauty. Many, many hours of what, at times, just have been frustrating work culminates in something I hope you will never sell. It's there to remind you if things get a bit tough sometimes, just how good you really are.
A stunning gown...only how Cinderella's Godmother would bring out the very best of her true quality of her interior beauty. I 💙 💙 the thoughtful details of how the dress was built from a planned idea!
Seeing how you assembled it all together was amazing, I’ve not seen anyone else use the clips like that to keep everything in place. My husband kept smiling at me because I was ‘eeeeee’ ing at different parts of the video 😄
Hope you wear this at all the occasions! It is gorgeous, and it is amazing to see your talent and hours of work culminate in an outfit that looks absolutely magical.

Bella, thank you so much for sharing this with us. I went from "never gonna make this dress, it's too difficult for someone like me" to "maybe it's possible to make a version of this, after all?" through watching your construction videos and reading your "boring" diagrams ;) It was actually when I read the list of Cinderella fabrics that I found myself wondering if I could adapt it a little to my skill level, and suddenly I was browsing fabrics online... When you document a process as thoroughly as you have, it teaches me so many new things and makes me feel like I want to try as well. Originally I only wanted to make the work dress, but I am now thinking about also making this with your patterns. How sly of you to tease us with free information first ;) A big thank you from Sweden!
The progress you've made since the first How to wear a Cinderella dress video is astonishing! Compared to this one, the first one almost looks like a school project and it was already phenomenal, just to say how gorgeous this one is 😩👌✨♥️
The clasps were a genius idea. Seriously, this is more than a dress, its problem solving you can wear
Actually most historically accurate victorian ballgowns had many buttons and clasps to hold everything in place so I'm extra pleased with this dress

I've seen the one from the movie in person. There were few to no touchups. It really is that ethereal and stunning up close.
I saw it too. It looks exactly the same. It's a real dress...it's not cgi, lol
She is so young to have gained this much experience in dressmaking. She is very, very talented.
The fact that one person created this on their own, but the original had 20 people.
This is rare.
