Hope they were to make an XL version of it, just a little longer for all them GPU length and wider for more coolers or GPU compatibility, maybe taller too with 2x140mm on the top. Like keep the same shape but like a bit bigger, I love the case so much.
@@flugeggenhaimen1722hi really confused, because their site says it caps out at 325mm gpu clearance which is the same as fractal’s terra, so is there some a way around it or no? I’m lost - really like terra case just my gpu won’t fit, sitting at 338mm
@@FlowyMC I like FormD T1 because you can install a water cooler at the top. You can even print a custom top cover, as the stock one fits 240mm radiators with 25mm and 15mm thick fans. As for GPU length, a founders edition card (304mm long) fits with some clearance, but I can’t say for sure if a 338mm GPU would work. Probably not, as that’s a common issue with all mini cases.
Cool looking case, but with those big holes on the side and top, it won’t take long before it so dusty inside. Fractal needs to put removable dust covers on them for fast easy cleaning.
Just get a electric air blower like compucleaner or similar and dust it every few weeks, a month maybe. Literally takes less than a minute in case of this size and those blowers don't cost that much. Filters would just impede air flow, raising temps and noise.
filters restrict airflow, that hurts performance. even with filters, dust will get inside. it's not the end of the world to blow it off every couple months
If you have ever used dust filters in a SFF case you find that both your thermals and noise levels go up. Easier to just blow it out once a month and with the flip up side panels on the Terra it is easy to do.
mostly cost. there is only 1 am5 ryzen cpu as well. since this case does not have much clearance for cpu cooler, it would be harder to cool a ryzen 7 or 9 cpu as well
Convection doesn’t matter because the strength of fans will always move air faster anyway. Not sure why this gets constantly parroted. Just look at airflow visualizations in any case.
can't go wrong with either! I haven't had noise or thermal issues with the terra so far, thanks to the exhaust fan and that my cooler has the fan under the heatsink. however the max is crazy and probably better for a higher end build!
Could also go for Lian Li Dan Case A4-H2O if you're planning on using AIO for CPU cooling, it should be around same price range that Terra is. NR200P would go better for air coolers and is half the price of the other two.
@@triniton8262 the NR200P is still better for watercooling in my oppinion. The new NR200P V2 looks great too and is aimed at Liquid Cooling with a 280mm at the top, also a lot cheaper than both the Terra and A4-H20 but still a super solid case. Overall all 3 cases are very nice though I like the NR200P V2 a lot more.
It did :( it looked like I was more gentle removing that door panel than the one that didn't break. Might've broke in shipping. No issues so far but will reach out to fractal to ask for a replacement piece

it's a custom I built. Case is the Canon Keys Brutal 60
why am4?

I had a tall tripod (6.5ft) on the ground, near my desk. Recorded using my iPhone. I probably overdid the lighting
The fan at the bottom is installed to supply fresh air.. not to exhaust it. Hot air moves upward.. right? 8)

Heat rises but the fans blows them wherever they are pointed twoards.
The bottom fan should be set to exhaust in this case.
