Quality show and much respect for the hospitality. I really like the Alabama A&M University catalog and the musicianship of their band members. Hats off to the director and staff. They are by far one of the best-sounding and performing bands in the SWAC! Hubba
This could possibly be true, but unless FAMU paying out out of state fees in their scholarships, chances are they will still choose A&M. And most of those kids are from Birmingham and Birmingham gives out full scholarships if you attend a college in Alabama.
Played right into FAMU's hands. AAMU, ya'll should've never played a march. You lost the crowd, momentum and some recruits. FAMU sounded like a movie cinema sound track with those last few selections. AAMU you sound awesome and you had that darn W, but you gave it away when you challenged FAMU at their strongest two suits: Ballads & Marches. They don’t lose with ballads and marches and thats why bands never play them vs FAMU because you will get humbled.
This is the REAL reason a lot of these SWAC bands try to frown on playing marches in battles. They know they’re gonna get exposed everytime against FAMU
@@The1andOnlyDuck ruclips.net/video/OIGh8T-Tsuk/видео.htmlsi=hVL7ptdIpywFG4RJ They definitely fill up their own stadium 😂, from home side famu was not heard tbh 😭
Why did AAMU NOT stay in the stands? Even micro sized bands play in the stands when they go up against larger bands. This made no sense. They still would have taken the L, but at least they'd be heard. 😢 FAMU ran circles around this band.
Both bands agreed to play so many songs and leave. A&M was leaving and FAMU stayed to play more so, A&M stayed to play more. I wished they had went back in the stands myself. I think A&M did an awesome job, they held their own, no circles 😉 #MyMMW
@cojack424 well, I am impressed with the descriptives you Googled to describe your FAMU, in which I am a fan of, but I was there and #MyMMW handled their own. Hats off to both bands and these student musicians who put in the hard work and chose an HBCU.
@@trastep1239 your sarcasm failed to say the least. FAMU didn't come there to break bread with y'all...It was strictly business as usual..... The Marching '100' exemplified proper phrasing, intonation, dynamics, sonority and melodious sounds, that can't be duplicated by any other band. Google those terms I just mentioned, and call me when you've completed the assignment...Side note** I was there too dear, and I listen with my ears, and see with my eyes, and neither did not deceive me. So stop trying to save face about your little beloved A&M band.....they were outshined during the 5th quarter, and got straight up embarrassed, waxed, buffed, mopped and glazed during halftime by The '100". carry on
@cojack424 there's no sarcasm over here, nor a need for me to Google those musical terms you mentioned, for I am familiar with each of them. I have musical ear and eyes as well and I never said anything against FAMU and nobody is definitely not trying to duplicate them, if you can read I said I was a fan and I said what I said and I'll say it again A&M held their own period. I'm not going to go back in forth with you about my own opinion or even yours.🙄

Yall picked the wrong game to bring in ya local high schools. Thanks for the free recruiting

I'm sure it's been the same way for 30 years now last home game of the season
Hell y'all don't travel
No, the full scholarships started in 2021.
Every time you turnaround AAMU band closer....😂😂😂 much props, they sound good tho. HUbba 100!

Yep! They own EVERYBODY in those categories. 🤦🏾 Good job, both bands!

AAMU was never going to win this battle. I like the direction of the program but they don’t have the musicians to tackle the 100.
@@DerrickDBerryfacts
lol what bands don't play ballads and marches towards them? SU JSU AND BCU does
Famu got Snooze on🔒
Famu just showing off lol.
The lies u tell
AAMU, the direction is going downhill. Coming out of the stands, who's idea was that?
Aamu been playing that first song since 2018 , let it go
FAMU all day. aamu didn't stand a chance
I like aamu's euphoniums surround sound on their last song
wow the difference is clear
SMH y’all will find fault on every thing
Why did AAMU come out of the stands to play??
Cause they can’t full up their stadium 😂
I heard it suppose to had been a percussion battle
They were marching out and FAMU kept playing so they just got on the field.

Alabama's percussion is way too loud on every song.
