Such incredible talent. I have so many sweet memories of sitting with my family after dinner watching this show. “Don’t sit so close to the television, kids!” 😂
Where are the distributors of both Vince Edwards TV series. Why can't they understand how much he is missed by his legion of fans. A great actor who is beyond handsome. He was a true gentleman.
Comic relief at its finest ❤😂Love Carol Burnett grew up watching this show with my family this show was part of our schedule in Sunday nights😂 when acting was live and hilarious 🤣 Thank you !!🇺🇸
I Always loved the Carol Burnett show ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. This was the Best show ever 😊. Wish that there could be more like this show on the Television 😊
This skit made me happy, lonely and wanting...a loving moment to behold a lovely lady...true class and comedy, Carol was so attractive to me and the epic cast never failed...classic comedy gold.
Stephen King modeled his "Ben Mears" character after Vince Edwards. I can see why. David Soul finally got the part but I'm wondering what "'Salem's Lot" would have been like if if Edwards was in it.
Not just one movie..a take off of all the big name actresses dramatic movies. Dark Victory..Mildred Pierce..An affair to remember..Dark Journey.. The End of the Affair... A night to Remember... I'm sure there is more. Just my thought. 🤗
@@thegreencat9947I think some more were Now Voyager (doctor diagnosing breakdown and taking Carol away from her domineering mother - he even starts quoting the movie title/poem line, Carol meeting a man on a cruise during her recovery, the lighting up of two cigarettes at once - 1 of which he's supposed to give to her), Deception (hiding that she's been someone's mistress to survive while her partner was thought to be dead), Random Harvest (car accident, mention of amnesia) and The Old Maid (baby brought up by aunt). It's fun trying to spot the allusions - I half expected Carol to steal the sister's identity like A Stolen Life, haha. The doctor also quotes Imitation of Life's title, but I'm not very familiar with that one yet so not sure how much is spoofed of that one.
Primarily, it's spoofing "To Each His Own," which won Olivia de Havilland the Best Actress Oscar in 1946. But it steals bits from many other movies, including "Now, Voyager."
Carols love of the old movies was the best!

Comedic genius at it's absolute best. Carol and crew never disappoint.
*its absolute best
Carol Burnett and Company...No one did it better, and after all these years, the show and the skits still hold up and make us laugh.
This will always be one of THE ALL TIME BEST shows!!
So, so, funny. Excellent vocals.
So much talent all in one show. Nothing like this now. Makes ne nostalgic.God bless them all for the good old times.
❤ I was crazy for Vince Edwards... Gorgeous, loving man.

As a teenager I thought Dr. Casey was really hot. 😉 But it's so cool to see Vincent Edwards doing something different. ❤ This skit was brilliant.
@@laurab9867 I totally agree. A great actor like Vince can play comedy and drama with equal brilliance.
BEST SHOW EVER

Lmao! “Would you like to hear it again or would you like to get fired?”
This was great to watch 🤣🤣🤣
❤Love this skit, it’s hilarious!❤
Dr Will Cox...and Dr Ben Casey!
I wish more entertainers could be more like Carol and less like the Kardashians. 😊
The Kardashians are entertainers???
When she said "He's a quack, you know" I expected the doctor to enter dressed as Donald Duck! 🤣 🦆
Is that Chita Rivera? I just love Chita Rivera.

When that guy lit up those cigarettes I fully expected him to start popping them into his mouth, like Tom Mullica! 🤣
Funny!
It says, "To Each HER Own Tears."
PerfectionN
WHAT MOVIE IS THIS SPOOFING? ANYONE KNOW??!!

A blind date that was pre-arranged ahead of time after some perparations were coersed by any chance?
