Black Flag was my first ever AC game and i loved playing it if it was just a graphical upgrade and bug fixing that's the only thing I'll care about.
Besides a 1-1 remake, this would be the perfect opportunity for Ubisoft to expand on some of our favorite characters. For example, do a Black Flag sequel after the remake. For AC 1, let’s do the content from Altaïr's Chronicles and Bloodlines as well.

There would be no “sequel” due to the ending and they did a spin off. We already know the rest of his legacy and story. The remake would mainly just be good for the revamped combat imo. That combat was so easy it was boring. And the facial designs. They definitely need to fix that. And being the multiplayer back.
Or give us a proper trilogy for Bayek

If NG+ happening in Black Flag. The ship will have all upgrade refers as "Elite+" but other ship has double the price. Better HUD design etc

I am actually playing assassin's creed Black Flag right now as I am listening to this video. As much as I enjoy this version I am very interested in seeing what they do with the remake and see just how much they can improve it.

Black flag needs a remake way more than Unity. Unity still has pretty good graphics.

Why remake Black Flag though? The game isn’t incredibly old and is one of the fan favorite games of the franchise, so if they mess it up the fan base will be pretty mad at them. Plus almost everything about it still holds up except for maybe too many tailing missions. Even the graphics are fine and still hold up relatively well. If anything a remaster with some improved graphics would be the way to go here, not full a remake.
Its so weird, typically remakes are saved for when the origional cant be played anymore (like the Ezio trilogy or AC3 coming out to PS4/Xbone), as this maximizes profits because fans want to be able to replay these games. Black flag is still playable on current consoles, so it really makes no sense.

The free running in these remakes better be smooth and have the same player control such as the ezio controls. Id love the see the ezio games with Unity level of graphics.
if capcom could faithfully remake re2 then i don't see why ubisoft can't faithfully remake ac4

I'm hoping AC 1 and 2 play exactly like brotherhood, only issue I had with brotherhood and really the whole Ezio trilogy were the animations but the gameplay was extremely fun, being able to kill 2,000 enemies on Cesare's porch was fun.
If they copied the smooth realistic parkour of AC Unity and brought that into the Ezio trilogy that would be sick!

That's just blatantly innacurate. AC1 had a new formula still yet to be replicated or truly perfected. Along with a terrible tutorial that didn't teach players how to tap into it. But with time many have figured out it was great from the start, we just needed help figuring it out. That's different from aging poorly. Quite the opposite in fact.

There's no reason why you can't join a buddys game, and just follow them around helping and hanging out with them and the quests/missions. If they can't figure out how to do that, they are useless to me and my friends, as we only play coop games, even if they are single player playthroughs...
As an og ac fan, I am not excited but extremely worried, given how the modern ac games have been.
I hope they incorporate more of the story in The Secret Crusade, delving into Altair and Abbas' fathers stories. And they should also update the mechanics to what we have from Mirage and Unity for AC 1. Minus the eagle eye view.

I wish they put Another equipment that you can be one handed swordsman and have another equipment that you can have rifle on your back to a weapon for your equipment so you can equip it I love rifles but I hate it when they don't put that in your equipment stash that makes me mad

I just finished black flag for the first time yesterday, I dropped the series when it released because I hated how often the tailing missions happened, even so it’s easily in my top 3 right now and the story is by far my favorite. Hopefully the remake removes how often you have to tail npcs

I hope they remake the ACBF or other AC games with added multiplayer mode. When I return home from school and finish my chores or homework, I dive straight into multiplayer on Brotherhood, AC3, or Black Flag.

I think a lot of people are confusing the word remake with reboot. Remake usually means the same game just remade with current gen upgrades and graphics. Reboot would be changing the game and making a “new” game.
I wonder when will Ubisoft make AC: Rouge fully like what it's capable of. The game should've been way better.
If they remaked BF, I hope they implement what they promised on gameplay trailer, where you can dynamically interact with people as part of social stealth.
With AC1 Remake being so far off, I imagine it’s conceivable that it will be entirely open world like Odyssey and such. They might just pull some FFVII Remake-ish story changes
An AC 4 remake with modern parkour is fine, nothing wrong with it, updated combat would be better, and with odyssey ship combat is perfectly fine as well

I think remakes of 1, 2, 3 and 4 would be wonderful. Same storyline and characters with minor updates, updated controls and graphics, the open map similar to Origins would be wonderful.

If you played one ubisoft game then you have played all the ubisoft games.... blood dragon and black flag are the only exceptions.

Shadows looks intriguing unlike Mirage was and I won’t be convinced Hexe will be good. Shadows will sadly probably be the last good game since black flag. Assassins Creed really needs new management.
"Remakes will modernise".....well there's a terrifying phrase. If it's just improvements in the engine, animation, textures,bug fixes...well that's great. If it's also making it more "acceptable" for a modern audience.....well that's one way to kill a franchise.
