When u say big what size are we talking! Reason I ask is I have some carp to mid 20s and can I heck get them in thanks
Can never understand why fisheries ban elasticated feeders but you can fish the pole with stronger elastic Any Idea
My local fishery band elsasticated method feeders as well a few year ago they told me it's because if you get snaped the fish is still carrying the feed around in its mouth but a inline feeder doesn't it just falls to the pond floor
@@markbacon946 Yes mate depends were you snap off they could still drag the feeder thinking about it Cheers
@@markbacon946 Also they ban guru x safe elasticated which are actually in line feeders can understand normal but not guru
What a great video
Informative without hard selling expensive baits and tackle but showing where you can get great value set up
It’s all about fish welfare. A pole elastic doesn’t get anywhere near the fish, so is you snap the fish has a hook ( barbless I hope these days) to contend with, and of course 4-6 inches of hooklength line. However, if you snap your mainline whilst using an elasticated feeder rig the fish is unlikely to be able to rid itself of the 20 - 60 g weight … and once that becomes snagged it’s a slow death sentence for the fish. I think that is why many venues insist on the use of free running rigs, so should the line snap the fish can pull the line free from the feeder / weight.
