I will use white petrol, elma and rodico putty to clean this movement parts 🙂...

I also found my grandfather's hmt janta 17 jewells, he passed away 25 years ago , 10 days before my birth ,am feeling blessed to have this precious watch ❤️ it will be with me till my last breath

Hi sir i have same watch but its not working when i put it on my wrist. It works fine when i put it upside down but for certain position it will slows down and stops running.. what will be the reason and can you able to fix it i am currently in Hinjewadi pune. Thanks
The parts that you add a leaf spring to and then install back into the watch at 15:10 look like they're one piece, but on a watch I have the pin and the set lever come apart very easily and make the stem fall out as a result. Is there an easy way to keep them together like yours?
Try to bend the pin and settings lever little bit

I just love the nice work you do. However, my heart fell down a little bit when I saw you apply glue to the movement to set the dial. I am sorry for that.

Thanks for watching my video sir. I use Elma and petrol for cleaning, Elma is watch cleaning liquid. And I have used zorrik 88 for removing rusty screws

How important is it to use a "dial washer ring" on the hour wheel before placing the dial? My HMT Kohinoor didn't have it so after repair I did not put it. Also, my dial also had no pins so I used "Quickfix" adhesive, is it good?
Hour wheel washer is an important part, without it your watch, 'hour hand' will sometime lose alignment...
If dail feet(legs) are broken you can use fevibond🙂...

My Kohinoor lags behind by a minute after full winding. Let's say i did wind in the night so the next morning it is delayed by a minute or two. What should be done?
Regulate your watch or get it regulate from your nearest watch repair shop

Hello, Sorry we can't do that. Because automatically movement thickness is more compared to manual winding movement.

Does +/- 2 mins is good for HMT watch accuracy?
No sir, 2 min +/- is too much for a mechanical watch. IMO 12sec+/- accuracy per 24 hours is good 😊...
But it differs from user to user, some people can use 5min +/- accuracy watch without any issue 🙂....

My Hmt Kohinoor stops running at a particular angle, about 20-40 degree tilted with crown facing the ground. It works fine when held upside down or when crown is upwards. What could be the reason?
