I don't know if you have seen one in person but I did. And I can say that the quality was very poor. The metal was so thin you could easily bend it by pressing your finger at it. Small spot welds on critical parts. And the interior felt just really cheap and made of plastic.

But because China's manufactures almost anything and everything, China's GDP by PPP is actually a more accurate reflection how big the economy is in China. I felt quite the oposite..it has a "Made by Robots" vibe rather than human, since robots has much better consistency and final product quality, and the logo is the "final touch" just for the video. It probably is also assembled by robots.

Spectacular. Cant even imagine an auto factory in India devoid of most workers and all manufacturing and assembly done by robots. There is no tech beyond the scooter space and battery tech for cars is decades behind. Even begging Tesla to come and build a cheap ( sic ! ) Rs 25 lakh entry level car for India is the only way to com up the curve to world class EV products .
This is real value for money. Good specs n performance. Unlike existing car makers costing 2 xxx or 5 xxx more n lower specs. 😂

Not bad for a production that just started. Most car makers lines are around 60 seconds. Tesla China as far as we know can do 42s.
But Tesla is reducing the production rate in giga Shanghai as sales are declining.
