Preikestolen or Pulpit Rock is a famous tourist attraction in Norway. Towers 604 meters over the Lysefjord. It's one of Rogaland county's most visited destination and one of the best hikes in Norway.
The main hiking season for Pulpit Rock is from April to October and it'll take around four to five hours. It does get VERY crowded so try to arrive early in the morning.
After experiencing the hike I don't think it's the easiest but it is doable. Take breaks and bring water. It's all uphill so expect steep, steep steps. Right at the start it's all stairs!
Know that you can also experience Preikestolen from a fjord sightseeing boat or a car ferry.

I know :( so frustrating. Apparently it's happening to a lot of creators. I had to manual review every video. It will appear ok when I first upload and then demonetized an hour later. It then takes the team a few days to manual review it. Struggles ;--;
Write them a physical letter, one of those types on paper with real ink, in an envelope. After they run around in fear of opening it and having to actually reply, they may actually see what you have written and acted upon it, and reduced the de-monetzing on your channel. Then again, it could be a youtube-wide activity to save them money. Good luck!! Some other vloggers have sponsors who pay far in excess of youtube.
Yeah, I know some people who've had that happen to their vids, too. RUclips's really trying to improve their system but it'd be nice to have some more communication.
Maybe you could do a few more sponsored videos, here and there, to make up for it! Or, crowdfunding!

I totally agree that the hike is much harder then I read online. You two were troopers that early in the morning. When we went there were hundreds of people there and even lil ol grannies hiking up...slowly. You two for sure did it right and those photos are AMAZING!!! -Ash
As a Norwegian we're just more used to it since we go hiking since we're bleh old.

The Pulpit Rock is in the backyard of my home town, and I must have hiked these mountains more than a 100 times. I also used to be a professional photographer for many years, and honestly, I did not expect to be very impressed by yet another tourist-vlog from "my own" Preikestolen. But this is really beautiful and fun to watch, and the still-photo at 6:43 is amazing. Thank you!

Wow now i miss norway...please make sure you visiting the geirangerfjord. it has several waterfalls, and for sure you can take a boat tour through it :) there is also a small village in the mountains, where sometimes clouds passing through the streets.

Awesome Norway
The tape was strung up because Sherpas were improving the path. It was definitely a smart decision to heed the arrow and stay off the part of the path that was under construction. Loose rocks could easily have been dislodged and fallen on toes or ankles and done serious damage.

Hello TJ. Love your videos. What I am curious about is when did you exactly take your Norway trip? I know you posted in November but not sure when the actual trip took place. Would help to know to plan future trips for myself. ;-) The weather seems great but would not have thought about planning a November trip to Norway. @@bex842 well haha we went right after the first lockdown and I gained a looot of weight so I was rly unfit but I managed no problem, well I was tired and had to take some rests but you will be absolutely fine!

For all the tourist wanting to take hike like this in Norway.Remember food..water and good shoes.A lot of tourists have shoes on that is meant for the city and gets in trouble when hiking..I live in this area
For those of you who do want to pronounce "preikestolen", it's similar to prake-eh-stohl-ehn in English. If you're German, you pretty much already got it. In Russian, ПРЭИКЭСТУЛЭН is pretty close, just try to avoid palatalization. In French, preyqué-stoulenne is close.

"It looks like you can camp here", in Norway we have something called Allemannsrett, translated it's all men's (as in specie, not sex) right, we have a constitutional right to use nature where and when we want to, even on private ground.
