Busking Jade - new talent/caught the attention of Record Dealer
Superstar Jade - the diva, gets replaced when things goes differently, the one who attacks the red haired one
Red-Haired Jade - the artist who’ll do anything (change style, genre, flirt with record labels) to get hyped and the superstar status.
The song is about Jade’s love and hate in the music industry, it’s about her real life experience when she was still in the group. A perfect debut.
You're right, the song is about the music industry and how easy it is to throw artists away. When she talks about "selling her soul to a psycho" she is referring to the music production company "Syco", which is the one that signs the artists who come out of X Factor. She is a member of the female group Little Mix. They won X Factor in 2011 and are now as soloists.
Yup syco and Simon Cowell
This is probably the best reaction to understanding this video. The big guy is meant to represent Simon Cowell, the line sold my soul to a psycho is a place on words because Simons label is called Syco Records. (she was signed to his label when she was in the group Little Mix - you need to react to them too). This is her debut single.

This debut made me so happy because I saw Gaga in her. The blonde wig on the couch and leg up. Like she’s driving real pop star camp energy and that’s what we have been needing in the industry. A lot people are trying to do camp but doing it in not the right way or in too polished of a way. This is its this is the moment.
Jade is a real student of Pop Music, she referenced a lot of amazing pop artist including Gaga.

Great reaction. She was in one of the world’s biggest girl bands, little mix, out of the X factor. They had to sign with Syco and were treated like rubbish. Told to flirt with execs to get radio play etc. they lasted 10 years as a grp but ditched Simon cowell as soon as they could. They’re amazing vocalist. They’re on hiatus to all pursue solo work. Jade has gone full pop, Perrie has also gone pop and Leigh Anne has gone for a more rnb vibe. All have released great music but this is jades solo debut (the last to go) and the most impactful imo.

I think you are spot on’ it’s all about the music industry and selling their soul! And if you really listen to the lyrics it really exposes this. And when she’s not making them money anymore they dispose of her.

So when Jade is in the car with the big guy who represents Simon Cowell she storms out after he says to the real jade "so sue me" as part of the song. The jade that's in the car that storms out isn't real, it's her angel self, she just heard the conversation between real Jade and Simon and is showing anger.
