I like how all the Evo dinosaurs have their own "look" to them. Tyrannosaurus has a natural, eagle-like expression, Giganotosaurus is spiky and majestic, and Acrocanthosaurus just looks like it's about to go berserk.

Not to mention the ease of loading the mods. ASE modded took forever to load vs 2 minutes at most om ASA
It’s honestly the only thing that’s keeping me invested in the game. Like I wanted Garuga’s mods so freaking much but being a console exclusive user meant that was a no and I do NOT have the money for a pc.
The Acro has always been a favorite mod of mine. It's a really cool tame with a badass tame method. It's also the creature that first made me notice the animation difference between it and official creatures, it just looked so much better in motion than pretty much anything else at the time. Thankfully, more and more creatures have been well animated as time goes on.

I never trap my acros, it’s a dance! A scary one. I was always on foot with a good shotgun. I got them first try always, such a fun tame. This version looks INCREDIBLE!
Finally A Detailed Spotlight I enjoyed this TLC of the Acro it makes it more terrifying especially the eyes also LOVED the roars especially the Allied Adrenaline Roar it has now Much Love cant wait for Paleo Ark
Im still waiting for the colosusscorpius spotlight (iv never seen it in game yet and its making me question weather it actually spawns for console players)

@@AtoMek210 pretty much yeah but more useful like you can fit a 2by2 shack on its platform saddle, its like a rex but can pick stuff up or tranq them so its similar to the karkanos if it couldnt jump and can climb over stuff more easier and had a tail that did torpo and everyone loves a giant scorpion

so happy to see the acro back for ASA, i loved it in ASE
This thing is rather smart, I tamed one last night and while I was trying to trap it I would fly behind the trap walls on my rhynio as I normally would but it just waltzed around the trap. I had to hover above the bear traps to get it to work
acro was one of my favourite ASE mods im so happy for it to come to ASA and look so good

One thing I love about new acro is that eye. Especially in its stance. It just looks more menacing and it can see into your soul
It's good to see the acro get its glow up in ASA, ASE's version is still good but THIS is an acrocanthrosaurus! It may be my favorite dino and dinosaur in general but the care it took to make this work is incredible

I remember hearing people bitch and moan about the changes with the acro but good lord the acro is absolutely stunning he looks like he belongs in a completely different game but he fits in so well im so glad you guys worked on the paleo Rex bc the vanilla Rex couldn’t hold a candle to garugas acro if this is how the acros gonna look im dreading what the savage acro will look like it’s gonna be an actual demon coming to ark

I Hope it's still possible to do on foot without the speed stat. That was my favourite tame in ASE, loved just running around in circles with it. Buy I have to say TLC is not bad, was sceptical at first, but after looking at it a bit more really I'm really liking the new look. Hope to be able to upgrade my pc quickly to play ASA😅

Personally, I thought the old model was fine. The new model looks great, tho. It’s nice to see an already good creature become even better. I do like how it looks chunkier, and more akin to what the real animal would have looked like. Overall, they did a great job.
the arc additions where my fav mod to have but i have never been able to have high level acros i just find the damage from weapons just way to high using anything but primitive weapons since if you goof up and it enrages the self healing isent enough for it to recover sometimes, i have always prayed hard there would be future creature added to the mod that could help the process such as a creature that can heal wild creatures.
I had mixed thoughts about the acronym in ase, but it seems much better balanced in asa. I love the risk/reward of it
I cant activate the evo mod and others, after i activate and prioritize the mod it unactivates as soon as i leave the tab. The only mods that stay activated are the paleo mods that were here at launch. Can anyone help?

How much ammo should I have for a 150?
I had 650ish AR ammo with a 217% DMG AR , but I barely got it torpor upto 1.5k before I ran out of ammo 😢
I kinda want it’s old shoulder bash back it felt more heavy and like a tank and as well for its normal stomp
Does anyone now why Asa quality not as good on x box and does anyone know how to fix it. Like the water does not work and the plants do move and there no foot steps or any of that good stuff. Can someone help me?
I don’t have the acro saddle in my engrams list at all I search it’s not there, and I’m past level 76. I scrolled down to see if it wasn’t just searching up but it’s still not their it’s top priority in my mod list and all. I’m on Xbox series x by the way

If you put a good saddle on an Acro, does it hurt it in the end? Will it cause you to gain adrenaline slower in defense mode because its saddle is better? Therefore leading to adrenaline taking longer to gain?

A bit early but does anyone know the best color or cave drops to get saddles yet?
I found out that the rhynio can actually pick the acro up. I took advantage of that and made a taming penn with behemoth gates and a large animal trap mod. I dropped the acro into a box of behemoth gates to keep it from running off anywhere and used the large animal trap as a barrier between myself and the acro. I then grabbed nearby diplos and dropped them into the trap with a rhynio so the acro could eat them and heal in case it came close to dying during the taming process.
Very clever! And quite surprising the Rhynio can pick up Acros. Thank you for sharing your strategy

If the recent update hadn’t erased my saves and uninstalled my mods I’d be playing ark right now, I’ll just wait for the new content to arrive.

It’s way bigger. I think the ase acro was like Rex sized, this one is only a tiny bit shorter than a giga/carch

Anyone knows if there is a difference between the Regular acro and the Ascended one? Found the 2 in ASA and they can't create spawn like if they where 2 different dinos but I don't see the difference aside from the name.

7:02 u sure? I've tamed many acros in ASE without using bullets. For example I'd only use the lightning breathe of a lightning wyvern. and once I dismount. I'm conveniently at its mouth (if the area is flat)

Also it does not have to be done with bullets. Unless it got updated today. Last night I watched Spyro tame one with an allo 🤣 I think you can get it to roar with any damage

Oh that's a very good question. Assuming the saddles DO effect the adrenaline charge rate, I personally would decide based on how I plan to use the Acro. For something like Gamma bosses, primitive is good enough, but for harder content like the Tek Cave, I'd prefer to run a stronger saddle and use the Adrenaline as a bonus advantage
It's hard to say for sure though! I definitely need to play with this more indepth

Literally impossible without killing it. It must be bugged as biotoxin won't throw in its mouth when it roars in defense mode in a trap.
The trap is what's causing it. It's not meant to be trapped. Like the Carcha, the AI bugs out and has a shit. It's entirely possible to tame when done properly. Or, do what I did in the video and tank the damage with a herbivore and veggie cakes if you still want an easy method

I personally don’t get making the Acro a glass cannon as it’s one unique ability is turning into a shield and tanking attacks that way. I think the rage meter needs to fill up some other way as that balancing act is REALLY risky and it’s kinda ridiculous how injured you need to get in order to use the rage. Maybe have it slightly regain health when eating meat so it makes back what you lost since when that meter runs out you become very vulnerable.
Also the loss of damage against larger opponents feels kinda wrong when it’s fighting style is more like that of a wrestler and seems a lot more weighty in order to take on big fighters. Acro in life was a Sauropod brawler so this just confuses me. It’s my favorite dinosaur and the mod is still amazing but its details like that I tend to notice.
It turns out I was recording with a very bugged version of the Acro! I may make a second video on this, as aspects like the lack of healing during Adrenaline was completely wrong. It's not supposed to be as glass cannon as I first thought, though I need to test and find out how versatile it truly is

As awesome as this looks i honestly have a soft spot for the old one. Also the colors seem infinitely worse. Maybe these were just bad colors though idk.
