Hi Wally, great video ! Would you know if the Dexis IS3800 or Medit I700 are decent scanners for Edentulous cases ? I can see from other comments here that you recommend itros
What is the recommended progress from this point? If I don't have a 3d printer should I send to the lab and have them send a wax rim? Is there a better digital workflow for getting the orientation of the arches?
Dr. Renne! This is Heejo, your former MUSC student! I’m looking for a good edentulous scanner! Would Trios 5 well enough to create awesome scans sir? I just wanted to confirm with you because I’m in between the scanner you are using there vs trios for well rounded scanner sir!
I could think of a few ways to do it super easily. First at the patient has an existing denture. You could use that to scan the proper vertical and pin these intra oral scans to the intaglio surface of the denture scans. Another way to do it is to look into the free resources at MOD such as the MOD record system The system uses a special tray for capturing the bike record that gets scanned in
@@wallyrenne trios 3 scanning details seems pretty good in this instance or is it me ? 😄 Am still wondering which one to get: trios 3 or prime scan 🤔 Ps. Love your content ! Top quality !
