This movie's twist was amazing and the Hello Zepp theme is so good. Adam's scream is absolutely horrifying and the "Game Over" from jigsaw is just an iconic catch phrase from a horror movie.

He filmed Dr. Gordon (Cary Elwes) with steady controlled shots and Adam (Leigh Whannell) as handheld shots to capture their emotions of the situation. Gun Enthusiast Fact: As Dr. Gordon (Cary Elwes) is loading the cartridge into the revolver to shoot Adam (Leigh Whannell), the camera briefly shows all six chambers of the cylinder to be empty. It’s most definitely gonna be a fun adventure. Jigsaw and billy the puppet are both iconic figures in horror. The twist of jigsaw being alive was great cause that’s something no one was expecting. I never thought a pig mask would be scary until this movie. Most definitely the most outlandish thing from this movie was the cop surviving his neck being sliced like ain’t no way.

I remember when I first introduced my nephews to the Saw franchise. It is such a special moment when the twist is revealed, and they were shook. Same with Scream. I recently showed my niece those movies for the first time, and after we binged all of them within 24 hours, I sat her down and had a talk with her about how important it is to never spoil the ends of those movies to anyone ever because it is such a magical moment when you see it for the first time. I love Adam so much ♥️. So excited for you to continue the series!

There are too many groovy moments in this reaction to point out just one, but I gotta say those last few minutes of shock and bewilderment are *chef's kiss*. Really excited for you to get into Saw 2. It's arguably most people's favorite, and some of the traps are just iconic.
Composer Charlie Clouser is another reason why the films have lasted as long as it has. His themes and cues are very memorable and bombastic. Hello Zepp alone is a staple and testament of his skills as a composer. Also, Clouser was formerly the keyboardist of Nine Inch Nails.

I'm glad you relise that there is so much happening in this movie. That it actually has a complex story plot because they all do they all have multiple story plots happening all at one time. There's John Kramer or Jigsaws story , the people in the games story an the people trying to arrest John Kramers story. All happening all at once thats the driving force of the movies an this movie franchise. Because some people only see the blood and gore an only focus on that. So they miss the actual story or stories that drive the movie or movies forward. This movie franchise story plot is about the people in the movies the games are only. What they in Hollywood call plot devices that move the stories along. Thats why people are wrong when they call the Saw movies turter prn. Because the movies are souly about the people in the movies. Their stories like why they are in the game why John Kramer does what he does an the story of the people hunting down John Kramer / Jigsaw. Thats what the movies are about. Now there is some movies that are about turter and nothing else. Non spoiler but there is movies that are only about people paying to do nothing but turter and kill other people. Has one of the best reveals in movie history, you never really take notice of the body in the middle except when the tape mentions it and both of them make note of it. Outside of that you think it's just a dead guy when infact it's Jigsaw the whole time watching over the game.

I like that it isn't a jump-scare franchise like you said. I am excited for you to watch the series because aside from the gore and traps and stuff, which I don't really enjoy, the story is SO compelling and clever!! The first SAW was filmed for a $700,000 4. According to the DVD commentary director James Wan stated that many of the scare scenes in the film were nightmares he and Leigh Whannell had as kids 5. James Wan wanted the camera movements to reflect the two main characters' emotions and personality. He filmed Dr. Gordon with steady controlled shots and Adam as handheld shots to capture their emotions of the situation.

The fascinating bit is that the Jigsaw reveal was hinted at mid-movie; when Tapp and Sing found the hideout in the flashback and the old man woke up, Jigsaw says "awake already, Jeff? I need more powerful tranquilizers next time..." He was sedated the entire time he was in the bathroom and thanks to those tests, knew how long he'd be out for, hence the clock in the room and all the deadlines.

It’s pretty high up there for me!! For the first movie in the franchise, it is pretty insane! Final Destination 5 had me pretty shook but since it’s the 5th movie, it had a lot more weight to carry. This just makes you see the whole movie in a different perspective 😂

That actor in white shirt that died in the end he's also a director and a big horror fan (close friend of James Wan too). So far he has directed 3 movies and a producer/writer for a couple of movies but 1 movie that you should definitely do reaction in the future is very underrated sci-fi called UPGRADE 2018,with just 3 million dollars budget to make the movie but it's WAY BETTER than most of modern Hollywood movies made these days. You will not be disappointed when you watch it 😎👍

Theres so many questions i can ask to poke holes in this movie, like What if Adam broke the tape by sitting against it in the bottom of the tub or on the tile when he fell to the ground? What if Lawrence couldnt find the light switch so fast and they lost a bunch of time like that What if they couldnt lasso the tape recorder so fast What if Adam and Lawrence sawed through the rusty ass pipes What if Adam didnt follow the X marks the spot hint What if Adam actually caught the key before it went down the drain These are all little questions to have fun with but in my opinion they dont destroy the movie. Its an absolute classic and has spawned my favorite story in the history of film.

I love watching reactions to the ending when Jigsaw gets up off the floor. Fun fact, Tobin bell actually laid on the bathroom floor for the six days of filming in there. And Leigh Whannell’s ending scene, from the moment he starts going through Zep’s pockets was done in one take. Some people criticize his acting in this film, while some of his delivery is a bit awkwardly done, he completely nails the ending scene. This is a movie where I say don’t rely on what the critics and the media say about it. While the films do get a lot gorier, the first film doesn’t have very explicit gore and is more of a thriller/whodunit mystery. I’ve seen so many reactors say they are worried about watching it because they don’t deal well with gore but end up blown away by the actual movie. Glad you enjoyed it, hopefully you’ll enjoy the rest of the journey, I honestly think Saw 2 is even better than the first. Edited to add: Adam screaming into the credits always sends a chill down my spine.

Personally, I’d want to watch Jurassic Park for the first time again. But you and the Saw fandom being a long time fan of this movie, I would say this one would be a top 10 for sure. Reaching for the phone out of reach, cutting off his foot, shooting Adam, tapp being shot, Adam not being dead and bashing in zeps skull, then the twist that the tape recorder was in zeps pocket, and of course followed by one of the best plot twists ever
To be precise, Adam had two chances of surviving the game. First, he had the key in the bathtub. Would it not been drained, the dynamic of the entire game would be different, because Gordon would have to find a way to kill a man with an overwhelming advantage of free movement. Second chance he had, is to not break his saw on a chain, and saw the leg off like Gordon did, to crawl out with him. Albeit, I might add, Gordon could pass the saw to Adam after the deed was done, but considering his mental and physical state at that time, I can't really hold it against him.
I remember me and my family rented this from blockbuster back when it was still a thing….probably one of the most twist endings we ever saw…me my mom, dad and brother all sat their like what the fuckkk

I 100% agree you can go through something traumatic and appreciate life more. But if a psycho man forces you to kill someone and dig through their guts to appreciate life more… and that is what gets you off drugs, I would say that gratefulness is some mental gymnastics to cover up what you have gone through. Can I share this one last thing I remember as a child cleaning my bathroom my parents used to collect newspapers 🗞️ that they thrown in your front lawn. Anyways they had Saw as a promo in the newspaper it was around thanksgiving so they were showing a body part served on a dish I believe shit was creepy af I just thought it was cool because we came such a long way bro from newspapers to everything being digital Just a nostalgic feeling ❤
The first Saw movie is incredibly iconic, especially for establishing the “torture porn” genre. It gets more ridiculous and insane as it goes. The whole “he’s not actually a murderer” bs gets more ridiculous, Jigsaw loves cherry-picking his morals.
Cole, def loved the movie just by how his reaction was,lol.... I didn't like SAW on the first showing, but with a few re-watches, it grew on me and then after the few sequels.... I ended up really enjoying these films. Amanda is played by Shawnee Smith and she is actually a Horror/Sci-Fi Scream Queen who has been in so many loved Horror movies. A lot of people hate SAW or don't understand them, but...BUT!.... If you are a LOST fan or FRIDAY THE 13th fan....you'll understand these better cause if you actually pay attention, SAW is a Timeline set of movies...they bounce around a lot, but if you pay attention to backgrounds and retain what characters are saying...you can put it all in order in your head....it's like how people don't realize that Friday the 13th part 2-4 all happens/takes place in a 4 day period. Movie Magic Fact: Leigh Whannell and James Wan confirmed that when Adam begins to smash Zep (Michael Emerson) with the toilet lid, he is actually hitting a garbage bag full of fake blood.
Subtle Camera Storytelling Fact: Director James Wan wanted the camera movements to reflect the two main characters' emotions and personality. He filmed Dr. Gordon (Cary Elwes) with steady controlled shots and Adam (Leigh Whannell) as handheld shots to capture their emotions of the situation.
Gun Enthusiast Fact: As Dr. Gordon (Cary Elwes) is loading the cartridge into the revolver to shoot Adam (Leigh Whannell), the camera briefly shows all six chambers of the cylinder to be empty. Revolvers don't eject spent cartridges, yet the man on the floor was supposed to have shot himself with the same gun. What looked to be a continuity error is actually a subtle foreshadowing to the twist ending.

It’s most definitely gonna be a fun adventure. Jigsaw and billy the puppet are both iconic figures in horror. The twist of jigsaw being alive was great cause that’s something no one was expecting. I never thought a pig mask would be scary until this movie. Most definitely the most outlandish thing from this movie was the cop surviving his neck being sliced like ain’t no way.
Mannnn that’s what I’m saying!! Freakin Tapp-man getting sliced and walking it off is one of the hardest things I’ve seen someone do in a horror movie 😂 I can’t wait to see what is in store… in the words of the immortal pinhead “we have such sights to show you” 🪚🪚🪚

I remember when I first introduced my nephews to the Saw franchise. It is such a special moment when the twist is revealed, and they were shook. Same with Scream. I recently showed my niece those movies for the first time, and after we binged all of them within 24 hours, I sat her down and had a talk with her about how important it is to never spoil the ends of those movies to anyone ever because it is such a magical moment when you see it for the first time.

Composer Charlie Clouser is another reason why the films have lasted as long as it has. His themes and cues are very memorable and bombastic. Hello Zepp alone is a staple and testament of his skills as a composer. Also, Clouser was formerly the keyboardist of Nine Inch Nails.

I'm glad you relise that there is so much happening in this movie. That it actually has a complex story plot because they all do they all have multiple story plots happening all at one time. There's John Kramer or Jigsaws story , the people in the games story an the people trying to arrest John Kramers story. All happening all at once thats the driving force of the movies an this movie franchise.
Because some people only see the blood and gore an only focus on that. So they miss the actual story or stories that drive the movie or movies forward. This movie franchise story plot is about the people in the movies the games are only. What they in Hollywood call plot devices that move the stories along.
Thats why people are wrong when they call the Saw movies turter prn. Because the movies are souly about the people in the movies. Their stories like why they are in the game why John Kramer does what he does an the story of the people hunting down John Kramer / Jigsaw. Thats what the movies are about. Now there is some movies that are about turter and nothing else. Non spoiler but there is movies that are only about people paying to do nothing but turter and kill other people. That or they trap or take people for the only reason of turtering an killing them. Those movies are about turter an nothing else.

Has one of the best reveals in movie history, you never really take notice of the body in the middle except when the tape mentions it and both of them make note of it. Outside of that you think it's just a dead guy when infact it's Jigsaw the whole time watching over the game.

I shall not post until the video is done so I can sorta comment along. :) So far I like that you have recognized images and scenes, even if you didn't know the context. I like that it isn't a jump-scare franchise like you said. I am excited for you to watch the series because aside from the gore and traps and stuff, which I don't really enjoy, the story is SO compelling and clever!! I play Dead by Daylight a bunch and the Saw chapter is scary. The Pig is a jumpscare, and I play as Detective Tapp a lot. You at the scene with Adam in his apartment is my favourite hahaha. You did the hand clasping thing. I am so glad you let yourself enjoy movies like this, rather than dwell on the improbable and farfetched parts, like too many people do. 4. According to the DVD commentary director James Wan stated that many of the scare scenes in the film were nightmares he and Leigh Whannell had as kids

Shooting this in 18 days is incredible and also mind blowing!! I bet they had no idea it would become such a huge deal. The fascinating bit is that the Jigsaw reveal was hinted at mid-movie; when Tapp and Sing found the hideout in the flashback and the old man woke up, Jigsaw says "awake already, Jeff? I need more powerful tranquilizers next time..."
He was sedated the entire time he was in the bathroom and thanks to those tests, knew how long he'd be out for, hence the clock in the room and all the deadlines.

It’s pretty high up there for me!! For the first movie in the franchise, it is pretty insane! Final Destination 5 had me pretty shook but since it’s the 5th movie, it had a lot more weight to carry.

Joyce in Saw 3D is the most innocent victim in my opinion but Adam definitely didn’t deserve what he got
That actor in white shirt that died in the end he's also a director and a big horror fan (close friend of James Wan too). So far he has directed 3 movies and a producer/writer for a couple of movies but 1 movie that you should definitely do reaction in the future is very underrated sci-fi called UPGRADE 2018,with just 3 million dollars budget to make the movie but it's WAY BETTER than most of modern Hollywood movies made these days. You will not be disappointed when you watch it 😎👍

Theres so many questions i can ask to poke holes in this movie, like
What if Adam broke the tape by sitting against it in the bottom of the tub or on the tile when he fell to the ground?
What if Lawrence couldnt find the light switch so fast and they lost a bunch of time like that
What if they couldnt lasso the tape recorder so fast
What if Adam and Lawrence sawed through the rusty ass pipes
What if Adam didnt follow the X marks the spot hint
What if Adam actually caught the key before it went down the drain
These are all little questions to have fun with but in my opinion they dont destroy the movie. Its an absolute classic and has spawned my favorite story in the history of film.
Buddy, once you see the first installment you simply have to watch the whole franchise. Buckle up. It is terrifying!

I love watching reactions to the ending when Jigsaw gets up off the floor. Fun fact, Tobin bell actually laid on the bathroom floor for the six days of filming in there. And Leigh Whannell’s ending scene, from the moment he starts going through Zep’s pockets was done in one take. Some people criticize his acting in this film, while some of his delivery is a bit awkwardly done, he completely nails the ending scene.
This is a movie where I say don’t rely on what the critics and the media say about it. While the films do get a lot gorier, the first film doesn’t have very explicit gore and is more of a thriller/whodunit mystery. I’ve seen so many reactors say they are worried about watching it because they don’t deal well with gore but end up blown away by the actual movie.
Glad you enjoyed it, hopefully you’ll enjoy the rest of the journey, I honestly think Saw 2 is even better than the first.

This movie is right up there with The Sixth Sense with insane twist endings. Some of these movies are so good, but some of them are absurd. I’m looking forward to your journey with this franchise.

Personally, I’d want to watch Jurassic Park for the first time again. But you and the Saw fandom being a long time fan of this movie, I would say this one would be a top 10 for sure.

Reaching for the phone out of reach, cutting off his foot, shooting Adam, tapp being shot, Adam not being dead and bashing in zeps skull, then the twist that the tape recorder was in zeps pocket, and of course followed by one of the best plot twists ever

To be precise, Adam had two chances of surviving the game. First, he had the key in the bathtub. Would it not been drained, the dynamic of the entire game would be different, because Gordon would have to find a way to kill a man with an overwhelming advantage of free movement. Second chance he had, is to not break his saw on a chain, and saw the leg off like Gordon did, to crawl out with him. Albeit, I might add, Gordon could pass the saw to Adam after the deed was done, but considering his mental and physical state at that time, I can't really hold it against him.
I remember me and my family rented this from blockbuster back when it was still a thing….probably one of the most twist endings we ever saw…me my mom, dad and brother all sat their like what the fuckkk

I 100% agree you can go through something traumatic and appreciate life more. But if a psycho man forces you to kill someone and dig through their guts to appreciate life more… and that is what gets you off drugs, I would say that gratefulness is some mental gymnastics to cover up what you have gone through. Anyways they had Saw as a promo in the newspaper it was around thanksgiving so they were showing a body part served on a dish I believe shit was creepy af

The first Saw movie is incredibly iconic, especially for establishing the “torture porn” genre. It gets more ridiculous and insane as it goes.
The whole “he’s not actually a murderer” bs gets more ridiculous, Jigsaw loves cherry-picking his morals.
Cole, def loved the movie just by how his reaction was,lol.... I didn't like SAW on the first showing, but with a few re-watches, it grew on me and then after the few sequels.... I ended up really enjoying these films. Amanda is played by Shawnee Smith and she is actually a Horror/Sci-Fi Scream Queen who has been in so many loved Horror movies.
A lot of people hate SAW or don't understand them, but...BUT!.... If you are a LOST fan or FRIDAY THE 13th fan....you'll understand these better cause if you actually pay attention, SAW is a Timeline set of movies...they bounce around a lot, but if you pay attention to backgrounds and retain what characters are saying...you can put it all in order in your head....it's like how people don't realize that Friday the 13th part 2-4 all happens/takes place in a 4 day period.

I’m loving the timeline so far!! I just finished watching Saw 3 (which kinda made me sad at the end, I won’t lie) but I love how they go back and show how certain traps and scenes were set up. Jigsaw is one of the most interesting characters I’ve seen in a long time. I hope I can get through a good bit of these movies before Saw X comes out!
