Whenever I see vanilla+ the result usually doesn't feel very vanilla to me but you put together a really nice list! I actually picked up some of these. Awesome work, man.
@@k1w1._. I grabbed Auto HUD and decided on easy magic and visual workbench while typing this out. For resource packs I grabbed animated textures. But the ones I already had were blur, falling leaves, Iris/Sodium/Indium, not enough animations, visuality, ambient sounds, easy anvils, entity model textures/features, presence footsteps, sound physics remastered, appleskin, and entity culling.
I really recommend AppleSkin, ItemSwapper, Amecs, Arrows Info, Better Bookshelves, Better Recipe Book, Chat Heads, Colorize, Crawl, Disable Custom Worlds Advice, Explosive Enhancement, Enhanced Block Entites, Item Favorites, Grind Enchantments, Glowing Torchflower, NotEnoughAnimations, QuickShulker, Raised, Reacharound, Server Hats, Reimagined Menus, Smoke Suppression, WorldEdit, Xaero's Minimap/World Map and Zoomify. All of them are amazing mods. I can't play without ItemSwapper or the Xaero mods anymore, they're just too handy
This is possibly the best mod list showcase I have ever watched. All the mods and resource packs displayed are faithful to vanilla and actually improved gameplay. The way you present the features and details about each mods are concise and relevant. The extra bit of showing client/server detail is also very helpful. 10/10 video!
I saw a similar video by someone else, and it was just 3 dudes yelling with obnoxious music and fast jump cuts. I’m so happy you did not do that. Thank you for just sticking to what the video is about, not wasting time, keeping the music chill, and presenting everything with just the perfect amount of demonstration. The way you speak is also nice. I will be checking out more of your videos 👍
Some of mine: CameraOverhaul. Makes view bobbing less annoying and adds tilt/roll effects when swimming, turning, or flying. Autorun: Does what it says on the tin. Companion: Better pet management and makes parrots less annoying. Adds gamerules for horse teleporting and pet friendly fire. Effective: Visual effect mod that mostly adds water effects but also things like allay trails and will o' wisps in Soul Sand Valleys. LambDynamicLights: Does what it says on the tin. Doesn't currently work with Sodium 0.5.x but complements VoidFog extremely well. VoidFog: Re-adds void fog from early Minecraft. Makes ancient cities much more tense. Y level is customizable. Harvest with Ease: Right click mature crop to harvest without breaking. Fortune still applies. Inventory Sorter: Does what it says on the tin. Northern Compass: Makes the compass actually point north. Paperdoll: Adds customizable paperdoll like Bedrock's. NoShieldDelay: Shield animations have a short delay before blocking damage. This mod removes that. Simple HUD Utilities: Adds coordinate display and armor/held item durability/quantity to the HUD. Text Utilities: Adds formatting. TreeHarvester: Sneak with axe when breaking a log to chop down the entire tree. Durability is taken for each block broken so the mod isn't OP. WTHIT: Adds tooltip to whatever you're looking at as well as displaying entity information like horse speed or chest contents.
including and specific if the mods are client or server sided was very helpful. Especially for those like me who want a QOL update to their Minecraft servers or realms without the hassle of needing a server
Small Minecraft creator. High resolution video. Right to the point. Understandable and soothing voice. Background music. Mod showcase at the end. Amazing.
This list is great, I love how short and to the point each section is. Also really appreciate that you showed the mod authors names and even whether it's client side or not.
Bro. Something about this video is just so amazing to me, I have seen these exact mods in other videos and I never cared for it but this video has got me installing every mod he says. Subscribed
This is a great video, and I really appreciate you making this because not many people make mod videos like this. These are my type of mods and you picked lots of amazing ones
That wasn't a thing in the 360 version. However, there was a similar feature where the HUD would become less visiable until you swapped items (this was even in the Legacy Xbox One edition, before that got discontinued).
Aye bro not trying to down-talk the smaller youtubers etc, but thank you. All the other videos I find are just too loud and quick. Your chill and I can actually listen to you. Thank you for saving me from a headache at 3am.
6:00 is so cool! it reminds me of when i would look up at popcorn ceilings and see stuff in it like cars or buildings! its really cool that the sever can see too
I love me some vanilla+ / immersive mods. The only one on here i don't like is the SuperFancyClouds. All other mods are either must haves or must trys. I am very thankful you sectioned off the video segments, and even moreso for the timestamps in the description! Mobile YT can be annoying to use with the segments sometimes. Overall very helpful video, thank you! Gonna have to keep this one handy!
the hey hey in the beginning reminded me of hipyo tech, difference is he says howdy hey xD but good vid, knew abt some of these mods, not others like Better 3rd Person, Better Statistics Screen and Auto HUD might pick them up when i play java again
Awesome video! I like to use the "Genuine Modpack" when I play minecraft for a Vanilla experience & now I have a few extra mods to toss in there! Thank you! :)
Great video and you identified some mods for me that I've used as part of modpacks, but didn't know which ones they were. I am officially your latest sub! Thanks for this!
hey can we take a moment to apreciate asymmetrics for the descs time stamps for the mods AND links to said mods? like omg thank you :D it makes things so easy
holy I didn't realize Minecraft can do this I haven't played in so long and just started again I'm definitely gonna be adding as many as I can to make my game look and feel better
Such a wonderful display of mods, a lot of which I had never heard of! Certainly makes the idea of a much more vanilla-oriented playthrough plenty more interesting! Great video mate :)
You have such a pleasant and polished voice I was surprised to see this is only your second video so far! Such an enjoyable watch, looking forward to seeing what else you have in store :)
I'd recommend shoulder surfing instead of camera utils, syncs the crosshair correctly if using dynamic crosshair as well. also the stay true resource pack and lambda's better grass (if using quilt) are great choices
Eating and ambient sounds ,footsteps ,sit ,apple skin ,crosshair ,inv move ,mini hud ,roughly enough items, tweakaroo, replay mod , animated texture pack and vanilla tweaks are the ones I will surely use
This video was so good I assumed he was a big Minecraft RUclipsr with thousands upon thousands of subscribers. The video is just so well made that the only reason I can find that he only has 1000 subs is because he has only posted 2 videos, watched the sub count go to 997 as I subbed and just a few seconds later he's at 1000. With these amazing videos I bet he'll continue to grow. I'm glad to have been here since 1K.
Also, for a mod review I would suggest putting links to all the mods so that they are easier to find. There are some mods with common names that you can't easily find which one was used.
Thanks for the helpful comment! I added links for all the mods and resource packs in the description, and will be putting out a modpack soon for download! Also, I use complementary shaders, with some settings customized.@@RoastedPineappleJuice
Keep up the good work bro. I watched this video and I Don't think I've ever subscribed to anyone quicker you deserve to have millions of subscribers. Keep on doing what ur doing and go you man
Honestly ? Might add that Spyglass feature. Remind me of Wild World. I'll also add the Entity Model/Feature texture, because I could not use Fresh Animation. I already use Blur, use it for the same reason, it's pretty neat lol
I really love this list, and although I often play with similar mods, there were some I didn’t know about here. I do think you missed lithium and starlight though, which would work great next to sodium and indium.
perfect. very useful, title is very true and in general this video is just really well made, it gives you descriptions of all the mods, it also isnt nothing crazy like a dragon mod or something like that, its just vanilla+ mods.
Ive been using a bunch of these and its great to see somwone who enjoys some quality of life and visual overhauls for a game we've all been playing for years 😊
I do find some mods that completely change Minecraft cool, but personally, I find that those little mods that add some details and maybe a couple extra mob variations or new blocks, keeping it MOSTLY vanilla, are better.

Wow this video was only made eight days ago and he only has 2 videos so... (Written on 8/5/23.)

That a quality checkmark
Hopefully people do the same to mine that I'm join to make lol
Man do I love these type of videos. Just straight to the point no strings attached.
I love that throughout the video the previous mods are kept enabled, and you can see how they build upon eachother

Dang, now that's a long this of mods and whatnot!
Thank you for sharing, my coleection of mods has been increased :D
You forgot some very useful "sweatier" mods like litematica
Apple skin is in it.
Amazing finally a clean mod showcase without unnecessary delay to show the mods main features
The spyglass mod needs to be in vanilla. That’s really cool and could get kids into astronomy.
im probably wrong but isnt astronomy already a thing in education edition?
@@bing4580idk
It would be really cool if they copied the real world night sky and people could study the constellations with a spyglass.
@@bing4580yeah but it should be in vanilla too, not every children has access to education edition lol, most people have never played it
Yeah!

another great QoL mod is Mouse Tweaks, once you played with it for a while youll never wanna play without it again!
