i unironically love how you made your showcase unique and fun to watch. i'm tired of other people who just list their mods, show screenshots from the mod's page and call it a day
That was my goal! I wanted to create a story for the mods, and for most of them I was able to do that. This was all improv, so going into this video, I had no idea exactly what I was going to say. The story just developed over time!
As seen in the video, Not Enough Animations also upgrades held maps to actually show the map in your hand! Very helpful when looking for that buried treasure in 3rd person
Crazy how such small changes can go a long way. I love that they just feel like enhancements to vanilla. Also the editing, music and presentation is just chefs kiss 🤌
Glad to see that wake's bugs with water disappearing was fixed. Oh, and you forgot to mention that particle rain adds sandstorms to deserts and mesa so that they're not just empty when it rains everywhere else.
DUDE I've been looking for a mod that increases the render distance of entity blocks like signs or beds for wayyy too long and you just popped out of nowhere and showed exactly that Thank you for saving my life, I was slowly going insane lol
I was just casually looking through mods that I could add on Fabric, and then I stumbled upon this- Not only did the video deliver by, well, showing me some actually visually pleasing mods, but I also absolutely ADORED the way this video was presented. There's a certain charm to this video, and it's simplicity is what makes it so uni- (cough cough video reference) Anyhow, just the overall composition and vibe that I felt while watching this video has won me over. You just got a subscriber champ, keep it up!
I've been playing a lot of modded minecraft in vr recently and I've been trying to add new mods every day and this is exactly what I was looking for. Please make more I want to get too 100 lol (I'm at like 75 or something right now, good video.) Also if you want I have my own list of mods that are all client sided that you should check out if you decide to make a next video: Old Inventorism (For old Pre-1.19.3 users) 3d Skin Layers (Doesn't work in VR) Ambient Environment Ambient Sounds AppleSkin Catalogue Chat Heads Drip Sounds Dynamic Crosshair Eating Animation Falling Leaves Item Physics Lite Presence Footsteps Sound Physics Not Enough Crashes Game Menu Mod Option Spark MoBends (Older mod, doesn't support latest version but it's super cool) Inventory Hud
Here's a few mods i would add to this list: *-3D skin layer:* adds depths to player skin so the second layer isn't floating *-camera overall:* makes the camera move more organically (though best to avoid this one if you easily get motion sick) *-footprint particles:* no description needed *-seamless loading screens:* takes a screenshot of the world when you left it and displays it when you load it *-tiny item animation:* makes item slightly larger when you pick them up in the inventory (sometimes it's the little things)
I've been working on a follow up video to this, and it includes some of these! I've used them all, and they are absolutely amazing. I agree, the small things have a huge difference. Flow is one I've been playing around with- that adds animations to menu screens; maybe give that one a look! Thanks for sharing!
I like this one, such a fun way to introduce mod. When he said the word "subscribe" the subscribe button really just glow a rainbow border. No reason to not click that now lol
I was actually doing this exact thing a couple days ago, but man this video was so high quality and entertaining, incredible work, and I'll probably be adding some of these mods to my game
Just came from one of your other videos, subscribed and literally a few minutes later you posted! This was a fun watch, I'll definitely be checking these mods out! :)
Probably the most Pleasant mod showcase I've ever seen. Also glad to see you're the one person who doesn't use shaders. I get why many do, but I want to see this stuff juxtaposed with the vanilla look, you know? Shaders often wash things out.
I love shaders, but sometimes the simplicity of the regular game is just so nice. Plus, shaders often tanks performance in the worlds I’m on, and fps is delicious. I want as much of it as I can get 😋
This genuinely feels like a video posted by a 1mil+ subs channel. I was so surprised to see you didn't even have 2k subscribers. Great work and please continue with these amazing videos!
I have like 30+ mods already in my survival vanilla gameplay just to make the game feel better 😅 this just shows how much mojang can add to make the gameplay better
Great video! Another mod I think would be nice to include is Effective by Doctor4t. It adds a whole slew of water effects from the trailers like cascades at the end of waterfalls, splashes for mobs and items, and even more subtle stuff like little ripples in the water from raindrops hitting the surface. Otherwise; I really enjoyed the video and thank you for making such well made and helpful content! ❤
I love the effective mod! And it would have been included if It was available for fabric, but I checked, and unfortunately the creator will not be making fabric versions anymore
I was just casually enjoying this video and suddenly I hear my own pack name lol. Glad you like my overlays pack, I do have to add that it is made to be used with my other packs that retexture the game so not all overlays will work well without them but I am planning to make a vanilla friendly version in the future
I would love to see that. Even though this version doesn’t work with every texture, it still adds so much to the game. If ever you go through with a vanilla variant, I will absolutely be downloading it. You’ve done some great work!
The Explosions look so SICK I always wished they updated the visuals one day. Like even mild shaders (IE Minecraft story mode and Dont mine at night lighting)
awesome video, introduced me to so many mods that I will definitely download so thanks! (also I didn't know I can use Fresh Animations with Sodium now wooo!)
I’ve been skeptical about switching to quilt because I have such little experience with it. I love effective; perhaps I’ll do a deeper dive into that mod loader at some point 🤔
Lots of effort was put into this video. This is super underrated and definitely deserves more attention. At least the algorithm has blessed me with this wonderful video.
wow i’ve never seen someone showcase mods in such a fun way. amazing video man, thank you for blessing my eyes and ears
Bro you made this comment sound like after you made you started crying in your shower for 10 hours

Great video and awesome mods!
Thanks a lot! :D
That Better F3 mod looks soooo useful, especially with the color coded text. I dare say it it should be implemented in the vanilla version!
bro i really love that kind of contents when presenting mods
very rare people who think the same as you, please keep up i love it
As seen in the video, Not Enough Animations also upgrades held maps to actually show the map in your hand!
Very helpful when looking for that buried treasure in 3rd person
Wow, this is a really nice video! So surprised to see something this good from a channel of this size; I'm excited to see your future videos.
i'm thinking the same :D keep going !
Hell yhea! I love the Better Vanilla Building resources packs. You could make an entire video just about all the features it has.
Yeah Good idea
cave dust is a nice one as well, it adds a nice bit of detail to the underground
I love the way you showcased all these mods! Your style is really nice!
Thank you very much!
Crazy how such small changes can go a long way. I love that they just feel like enhancements to vanilla. Also the editing, music and presentation is just chefs kiss 🤌
client side mods rules!
He forgot to put effective in here tho
effective is not available for fabric 1.20 unfortunately @@d1nodray
Great production quality, you deserve thousands of more views!
Glad to see that wake's bugs with water disappearing was fixed.
Oh, and you forgot to mention that particle rain adds sandstorms to deserts and mesa so that they're not just empty when it rains everywhere else.
I did indeed! There were a few things I had forgotten to mention with this video, but that’s probably the biggest one
DUDE I've been looking for a mod that increases the render distance of entity blocks like signs or beds for wayyy too long and you just popped out of nowhere and showed exactly that

This is officially my favourite way of delivering a mod showcase
better clouds its so cool, it feels minecrafty definitely deserves to be in the game
i absolutely agree
Congrats on 1k!!!!
Thank you!!
Underrated channel spotted
Your video quality and showmanship is impressive. I don't usually subscribe to showcase RUclipsrs, but you've earned mine.
The flatter entities mod literally makes it look like Paper Mario I love it.
This was probably the funnest mod list video I've ever seen! Especially loved the not enough animations showcase, brilliant :)
thank you so much! :D
@@layncemc Seriously dude, I really love your content, and I only just found ya yesterday :) Looking forward to more
Delicious selection of mods
Splendid
The intro is just so peaceful and relaxing and I'm definitely going to download some of these mods
I loved this video! I love these small vanill-ish mods, the editing style and personality you gave made the video super enjoyable. Keep it up!
5:44 THAT IS ACTUALLY SO GOOD! Amazing video, very informative and great format
Oh wow, I didn't even know you could use Fresh Animations on Fabric! Thank you! I thought I had to give up this incredible enhancing resourcepack.
If you think that’s amazing, you should see my last 2 videos!
I've been playing a lot of modded minecraft in vr recently and I've been trying to add new mods every day and this is exactly what I was looking for. Please make more I want to get too 100 lol (I'm at like 75 or something right now, good video.)
Also if you want I have my own list of mods that are all client sided that you should check out if you decide to make a next video:

Falling Leaves

Not Enough Crashes
Game Menu Mod Option

MoBends (Older mod, doesn't support latest version but it's super cool)

The commentary just flows smoothly.. it doesn't take away from the video
Here's a few mods i would add to this list:
*-3D skin layer:* adds depths to player skin so the second layer isn't floating

*-footprint particles:* no description needed

This is such a creative way to showcase a mod
My therapist: Flat Laynce isn’t real he can’t hurt you
*Flat Laynce* :
This is literally one of the best mod showcases, keep doing what you do because you have a future here on RUclips
This all just makes Minecraft feel more, alive.
How do you only have 6k subs? Such high quality content and you present these mods in such a calming and unique way!
Thank you! I appreciate it! :D
"Villagers can even rizz you up, it's crazy." Good video!❤

i really love this showcase, it was so fun to watch, i don't know how you don't have more followers!!!
Such a great video with rly cool concept! Ty for mods
I also like Reimagined Chests And Beds (From the Reimagined Texture pack), you do need enhanced block entities to get the 3d aspect of it tho
You deserve way much more subscribers! this is my first time seeing someone actually make mod showcases fun, you got my sub :D!
I really love the way you showed the mods off really calming
Just came from one of your other videos, subscribed and literally a few minutes later you posted! This was a fun watch, I'll definitely be checking these mods out! :)

"We will honor dog #7 on this day, where he was a valliant warrior and- oh my god the sky is gorgious" 💀
A way to make mod reviews fun.
I love client side mods but they are/can be a pain to find good ones.
Thankyou for this
I have like 30+ mods already in my survival vanilla gameplay just to make the game feel better 😅 this just shows how much mojang can add to make the gameplay better
My modpack continues to expand with a current total of 147. Updating to 1.21 is going to take awhile...
