Another cool mod is First-Person Player Model. It basically renders your body in first person and it goes well with Not Enough Animations. Looks cool to see your arm with Better Combat as well
Even better - use real camera, which does what this mod does, plus moves your view in ways that don't happen usually, like when you are using the better combat mod

ExtraSounds, Auditory, and Amplified Nether would be great for this pack. Amplified Nether adds the mountains from the Nether Update trailer, and makes the world feel way more interesting. Edit: ExtraSounds isn't up-to-date, but the mod called "Sounds" ported it, with some new features.
Dunno why but Modrinth doens't allow me to use these two audio mods on this modpack. Might be because conflicts with already chosed audio mods by lowresbones.

another good mod to add is sprite arrows, its a small detail but it makes arrows fired look like the item texture, like in the trailers. also does the same for tridents
I think fresh moves should be added to this list. It might have to replace not enough animations, but it looks amazing, and fits right in with the trailer look.

This is the kind of QoL mods that I'd spent hours looking though just to fill my game so badly it ran poorly on my old pc when I was younger lmao. I love these all, ty for making me aware of those mods
you should add the fresh move mod, it gives players new animations and even eye movements when looking around, it's the true final peice of this puzzle
I LOVE THE VILLAGER ANIMATIONS. I always thought vanilla villagers were always so lifeless I mean they're cool but i really wish they had more animations because they look so much more goofy in all of the update videos.
@@FredIsDood it's "Kompotikivun's BareBones - Optimized" There's also a create barebones version They're on 1.19.2 thought because I thought effective mod is essential to vanila feel so I won't update it later untill something besides wakes mod is available Also I plan to update it later this day or tomorrow to contain more Optimization and better shaders (it uses complementary currently)

how do you order the resource packs? Bare bones and fresh animations were working fine but when I added the other mods the animations weren’t showing up any more

The ambient sound does so much, that should be in the base game, light wind, birds, insect, foliage, all of these sounds make the world of Minecraft more alive, but I guess mojang is too focused and creating mobs that they won't implement...

UPDATE FOR EVERYONE NOW! The mods are all now incompatible for eachother (Or atleast in my case) or are all OUTDATED! You are able to get a similar feel by just using the Shaders, Texture pack and Animations. (Including required libraries) But mostly everything is unusable.
I just downloaded and setup the entire mod pack + shaders and as a veteran Minecraft player... this feels like a completely different game, like Minecraft 2 lol. This is absolutely crazy, time to do a play-through in survival! If your PC can run this, I cannot recommend it enough.. WOW!
A recommendation from me is to activate outlines, idk why, but I love so much the looks with them. The config is on the shader config, extras, outlines and set it to "colorful" or to "1.12 update art" if you like black outlines, but if you prefer something more casual or less visible, use "dungeons", I use that last one,

One problem I have with the trailers is the leaves, because they don't look like leaves, they look like concrete blocks. I with leaves still had the vanilla shape and transparency, just with simpler textures on the leaves themselves.
Ahh, nice! Love to see others actually take this idea and make it look as close as possible. I actually have a version like this on Xbox (used glitches to get texture packs, although most don't work) and it looks pretty impressive! Although my mods have absolutely nothing on yours, keep up the good work!
I really recommend to get an additional PBR resource pack, which I think Bare Bones has. Combined with shaders, it makes textures look like they have some slight 3D details
Absolutely great video, loved the first one and loved seeing you do an updated take on it! Very exciting to see you move over to Fabric with Sodium and Iris! I'm not sure if you've tried it out yet, but you should really try the Complimentary Reimagined shader pack! it is different from the normal Complementary one and I think it fits this style beautifully, especially with the clouds.
also a little tip for the nether, i reccomend getting amplified nether, there are mountains and it looks a lot like the trailer's, make the nether be 256 blocks tall which is bonkers huge, there are incendium, slightly shorter but still taller, with a bit more content.
These are small lightweight optimization mods, why are you scared? Their amount is actually better, since each of them updates faster than the whole optifine. And they work better than optifine, there are comparisons on RUclips

Hello fellow kiwi! Just wanted to drop a comment to say thanks. My son and I have this running on our computers and really love it. My son really loves the animations on the animals! Great job.
Since youre using Fabric and EMF and EMT mods, i recommend also installing the Fresh Moves resource pack. It gives the player model some nice lively animations and even has support for moving eyes like the Fresh Animations resource pack.
you gotta get fresh moves, it's a resource pack that requires a few other mods but it is so worth it, it animates the player just like fresh animations and even has eye animations, it's even compatible with better combat!
I wish more mods would provide textures in the same barebones style as separate resource packs. Think about it, a player riding a dragon from ice and fire and wearing the Maximilium armor of Epic knights defeating the Wither, And with the graphics in the trailer! That would be a really cool collaboration.
Amazing what a bunch of mods and resource packs can do! I hope Mojang implements these features some day. It just makes the game feel so much more alive! Seriously! Words cannot describe how amazing this looks!
Insane how that even now, backed by a billion dollar company, Mojang has never even gotten close to improving the game feel as much as the community has. I don't play Minecraft at all anymore but the beauty of all these mods together it make it so much more alluring. Vanilla looks soulless next to it.
smol tip: use releases only when setting up manually, betas and alphas might cause bugs, otherwise, download what the dev provides (make sure to check the mod loader and version) smol tip 2: when downloading on curseforge, hover over the text when you see a +1 (example: 1.20.1 +1, Forge +1)
There's a resource pack I like to use called Fresh Moves for the EMF mod, which adds player animations similar to Trainguy's Animation Overhaul. It compliments this pack pretty well. There's also a version that adds eye movement! You'll need to edit your skin though.
If you add the Fresh Moves datapack from the same creator of the Fresh Animations datapack, you can get your Minecraft avatar to have working eyes and eyebrows like in the trailer.
I like adding Leawind's Third Person, which makes third person actually usable and more cinematic, and Dynamic Crosshair & AutoHUD to hide the UI when not necessary. That way it can look fully like a trailer in third person with no extra screen parts and is still playable. (AutoHUD is a bit awkward to play with for longer periods of time but it has a toggle keybind)

If you are making Replay shots, make it 30 FOV. It emulates a higher lens, so it feels more natural.
Man just the animation mod alone refreshes Minecraft for me.

there's also a 3D skin mod that turns your coats/hats/hair/whatever else on your outer layer 3D that would probably work in this modpack.

It's their choice to play inferior version. You can get Java for free, if you have Bedrock and a pc, so there is no one to blame

I recommend adding Bounced. It does not add anything in-game, but it adds the bounce in the logo on the Minecraft launcher to the title screen.

These are small lightweight optimization mods, why are you scared? Their amount is actually better, since each of them updates faster than the whole optifine. And they work better than optifine, there are comparisons on RUclips
@@Euclase Yeah, but the odds of them *_all_* working well and not having random nit-picky issues with other mods is slim to none from my personal experience of using just the basics of that list...

@@hhoop3876 I use forge Oculus nowadays, that and embedium, but for vanilla gameplay, still just optifine.

Hello fellow kiwi! Just wanted to drop a comment to say thanks. My son and I have this running on our computers and really love it. My son really loves the animations on the animals! Great job.
Since youre using Fabric and EMF and EMT mods, i recommend also installing the Fresh Moves resource pack. It gives the player model some nice lively animations and even has support for moving eyes like the Fresh Animations resource pack.
This is really good. Now it's more simple and organized to follow compared to the older one.

particular is a mod which adds the splashes from the minecraft trailers and its up to date with the latest versions of minecraft!
you gotta get fresh moves, it's a resource pack that requires a few other mods but it is so worth it, it animates the player just like fresh animations and even has eye animations, it's even compatible with better combat!

I wish more mods would provide textures in the same barebones style as separate resource packs. Think about it, a player riding a dragon from ice and fire and wearing the Maximilium armor of Epic knights defeating the Wither, And with the graphics in the trailer! That would be a really cool collaboration.

Amazing what a bunch of mods and resource packs can do! I hope Mojang implements these features some day. It just makes the game feel so much more alive! Seriously! Words cannot describe how amazing this looks!
the mods and recourse packs are fun, the shaders have a nice side effect of setting my laptop on fire

one mod that I really like for trailer recreation is sprite arrows. It makes the arrows 3d

Insane how that even now, backed by a billion dollar company, Mojang has never even gotten close to improving the game feel as much as the community has. I don't play Minecraft at all anymore but the beauty of all these mods together it make it so much more alluring. Vanilla looks soulless next to it.
smol tip: use releases only when setting up manually, betas and alphas might cause bugs, otherwise, download what the dev provides (make sure to check the mod loader and version)
smol tip 2: when downloading on curseforge, hover over the text when you see a +1 (example: 1.20.1 +1, Forge +1)
There's a resource pack I like to use called Fresh Moves for the EMF mod, which adds player animations similar to Trainguy's Animation Overhaul. It compliments this pack pretty well. There's also a version that adds eye movement! You'll need to edit your skin though.

If you add the Fresh Moves datapack from the same creator of the Fresh Animations datapack, you can get your Minecraft avatar to have working eyes and eyebrows like in the trailer.
I like adding Leawind's Third Person, which makes third person actually usable and more cinematic, and Dynamic Crosshair & AutoHUD to hide the UI when not necessary. That way it can look fully like a trailer in third person with no extra screen parts and is still playable.
(AutoHUD is a bit awkward to play with for longer periods of time but it has a toggle keybind)
