I have finally found a food that doesn't upset my tummy and doesn't tase like you are eating meat sponges.

I purchased these with my own money - I really enjoyed them and was looking for a quick and easy meal I could throw in my pack.
I often make my own food but these will be my new favourites when I don't have time to dehydrate my own food for backpacking.

Tbh I don't always want to spend so much money on freezed dried food. Specially when you start doing multi day hikes, just those food alone cost more than $100
Yeah totally understand they can certainly add up to be rather expensive.
YES!! They have keto options too, finally, finally I can stop eating Back Country Mince for every meal.

Always worth trying a new one... cheers for the review. I'm yet to find one I really like too. Campers pantry spag bol is the closest I've come to (almost) enjoying a purchased freeze-dried meal, but it needs more flavour, so I usually pour in pepper and parmesan cheese, lol.
Totally mate they have been a bit of a sad option. They are still not as good as a good casserole cooked on the campfire.

Just found your channel researching Radix as looking for Gluten free options in walking food the real trumat is great but anything that adds variety is good have a sub

So good - this food it brilliant - do you get a sore tummy too? its pretty hectic with other brands - lets just say its lucky im often a solo hiker

Yes I was so excited by the meat. But apparently they couldn’t get enough protein. Pretty impressive nutrition if that’s your aim. I use them in extreme hikes then use others for casual hikes
